Nice place to visit, walk around, and experience bit of history. The house was locked, but we could see inside the windows. There are pretty walks along the river, and its within walking distances of some cafes. All in all, a nice spot for a morning activity.

Historic home on the New River

Most of the original home is gone. But walking around the area is beautiful and full of life and history

A relaxing, picturesque place with plenty of shady spots to spend a hot NC afternoon.
