For 3 bucks to get in... cant complain at all. Nice displays and info from civil war to current times. You could expect 1-2 hours here.

Its been a long time since I last visited, but it is a great place to go. Run by volunteers, many of whom are veterans, you will find that this little museum has more to it than meets the eye. Jacksonville is mostly ignored by tourists, leaving this museum fairly empty, but I promise you will find no better place to pause at on your way to Hot Springs.

Very educational. My guests enjoyed their visit. My brother created many of the displays. In fact, my feet prints are what he used in the jungle scene. Its always a thrill for me to see them! Great place to bring out of town friends and family. The gift shop has cool souvenirs too!

This place was really cool- lots of unique pieces of the past in their collection. Learned quite a bit though would like to return without the toddler as she made it difficult to look at one thing for too long...

The museum is interesting to children & adults. They have memorabilia from every war, items for kids to dress up like a soldier, old military vehicles, military weapons, & a plane cockpit for kiddos to get a hands on experience. Admission is $1 for kids, $2 for veterans/active duty/seniors, & $3 for adults. Which makes this museum extremely affordable & made me happy

Really shows the history of the area and its significance during WWII, Vietnam and the cold war to today. Interesting footage and examples of shrapnel from titan 2 missle silo explosion from the area. One of the best smaller town exhibits around. Had a really good display of German and us WWII weaponry.

One of Jacksonvilles real jewels, and something Im really proud to have here. For a relatively small building, it holds a great deal of historical exhibits. From a nose cone of a Titan II missile & other items relating to the Damascus accident/incident, the entire history of Little Rock AFB, to countless relics serving as examples from nearly every point in American military history - and importantly, the many parts that Arkansas, and Jacksonville specifically, have played in that history. Outside the main building stands a UH-1 Huey & and a Vietnam Era Republic F-105D Thunderchief sitting in static display atop plinths.Ive visited several times, and still feel like there are things on offer that Ive not seen yet.Theres a very nice gift shop inside as well as a friendly staff, helping to make it a fun stop for anyone. I cant recommend it highly enough.
