The park is a great spot for families especially if they have small children. Theres a wonderful interactive playground with something for children of all ages. Theres lovely shaded areas which is especially helpful in this brutal Florida heat. During the year theres many activities held here festivals that are always family oriented and family fun. On the downside theres a heavy homeless population that frequents the park.

Riverside park is a beautiful! Ive been taking my boys here since they were babies. We enjoy watching the ducks and turtles, and the kids love the playground! You have to visit this park if youre in Jacksonville!

Very nice spacious park there with a kids playground, toddler swings, slides, some picnic tables, benches along the walkway, and a large duck pond in the center. There is a short walking distance (a few blocks) to the Riverside Park with a great view of the river. Both are near the Five Points intersection.

The playground area is kept clean, I just wish the homeless wouldnt be there. I dont mean to sound selfish but they take up the benches and tables.

Great little park with a nice pond and sidewalks all around it. Lively little park during what appeared to be a vegan fest. Many vendors with vegan food. Family friendly. Saw a couple of duck families.

Was our Sat spot before pandemic.. First time back since.. Bought lunch at Hovan and ate in park then played..

I go to the park almost every day while Im walking the dog. Its really a great place to be especially during baby duck season. People are poisoning the ducks with White bread but the Ducks dont seem to mind so who am I to complain. Id like to see the parks people keep the past and some of the benches around the pond itself cleaner. Lots of duck droppings. While youre in the park if you have small ones take them over to the playground with all kinds of weird and wonderful things for them to do.

Its a great park has many trails to walk around, plenty of shade, has dog park, play ground for children, has many poke stops for pokemon go players, also has a beautiful pond with a fountain, and lots of water birds, turtles, and its close to 5 points lots of businesses, food, clothing, theater, bar, great place all around love it!

Excellent playground/pond to bring children. Plenty of space for the kids to play and walk around the duck pond. They can feed the ducks and birds in the water & play on the playground, and you can keep an watchful eye on them from any of the bench locations.. Great free activity for children!

Its pretty clean and nice shade to relax while enjoying duck pond life. Also has 2 nice playgrounds, plenty of benches and a basketball court.

This is a great Jacksonville park, great play ground for kids, open spaces for playing and the duck pond where you will always find some hungry ducks waiting for some food! Kids love to bring some extra bread along to share.
