I just pulled in to eat my breakfast, so I really cant give a good review. I know that this park is tucked away under Alternate 90 and the City of Houston desperately need to put some money into the roads surrounding the park instead of the highways. I didnt see any bathrooms but there is a couple of port-a-cans at the entrance. Not many people frequent it with the COVID-19 being high in Houston but it used to have people there all the time. It has a walking bridge that goes over the water so that is nice as well. Good trails when it isnt flooded by that area floods a lot. I dont remember there being any playgrounds there either so not sure how kid friendly it would be. Now the other side of Alternate 90 is another park and it is definitely kid friendly with bike trails, walking trails, baseball park and its tucked away next to a neighborhood so its very quiet. Should I go back here again some day, I will change my review and ad some pics.

There are trails and they have bathrooms with plumbing now, there isn’t too much shade, but there is some around some table. They e got a splash pad that is so much fun, we spent an hour closing up some fountains and the pressure would make the others so way higher. We had so much fun and the area was clean. Parking was easy too, but there aren’t many signs.

Clean Park beautiful trails. Issues with the park patrons are using four wheeler vehicle in the park, and lots of drug parafernalia by the pond. Residual of marijuana baggies, lighters and cigarillos empty packages.

Great for the family, sports, walking, running, or mountain biking. Plenty of unpaved trails within that had me questioning continuing. Even had to carry my bike across a creek or two. The trails rivals if not, surpasses Dwight Eisenhowers trails in difficulty. Watch out for 4 wheelers! Would definitely hit those unpaved portions with a partner! There are so many unpaved trails and a portion of the park is across the highway. It would be nice if the whole 7 miles were outlined continuously in AllTrails. Would make for a nice scenic ride.

Lovely park. No playground, but its really nice to go for a walk. Theres a mini lake and bridges over the bayou. I once found a biker who took me through the craziest bike path. Best part is, there was no path at all. He kept going fast as the wind with his bike through the forest. I was always trying to catch up, lagging behind. We reached a point where he said he had to leave... So he just... Left. Vanished with his bike, as fast as we got there. 10 seconds after he left, I found myself in the middle of the forest, no sounds at all from him whatsoever. Not knowing where I was, I felt lost and I was wondering how to come back. Even more, I questioned this bikers existence. Has something similar happened to somebody else at the park?

I never knew about this park until a friend of mine showed it to me last night. This was a great place to have a romantic walk and just to hang out with. So many trails leading in and out of places in the park is very interesting and very comforting and its peaceful and quiet. Wonderful place to have a great picnic barbecue or even a family function or a family reunion.

Theres also a very nice basketball court and soccer field with a baseball field on the other side of the highway as well as a park and more areas to walk. Very nice

Theres two parts to this park. The upgraded part has a nice water area for the children. Park is perfect for biking or walking around. The older side of the park needs more light at night and the playground for the children needs to be upgraded. I didnt see aby restrooms in neither of the parks. Over all children had a great time.

Most of the trails in the park are paved or blacktop which is probably fine if you are jogging. There are some true hiking trails also that run along a bayou and are really pretty hilly and interesting. I felt like I was really on a secluded state park somewhere. The only drawback of the back trail areas is the incredible amount of garbage. It looked like people actually used the back trails as a dump. In some places it looked maybe like homeless people had lived in parts of the park. All in all, a very relaxing, accessible, get-away-from-it-all two hour escape. There are tennis courts and soccer field too.

I love running at this park after a long day of work to let go of some stress. But after its rains I recommend to hold off coming here for at least two or three days to give the ground some time to soak up moisture. Mosquitoes are really really bad Im native of here, but at this park theyre huge and they hurt once they get ahold of you. They even get on you while youre running, but that does not stop me from coming here I wait for now on. Beautiful park and great place to watch/play soccer. Also, if you come here to get it in with your girl/boy friend stop being ratchet and leaving your condoms on the ground for everyone to see that you were not even decent to take it behind closed doors throw your trash in the trash! Other than that I love it.

Fun place to play softball with good people, although kind of difficult to get to softball fields if you dont know where youre going there are two entrances to the park one by furr high school and the other is off highway 90. Depends on what you are coming for. I play softball with my company up here and its always clean no fights and friendly people.

I went here for a run. Theres not much shade here. There was dog poop on the sidewalk. The grass doesnt look well-maintained. The area just looked brownish gray overall. But it did get the job done of providing me a safe running space. There were about 5 other people walking/running as well.
