My wife and I went bicycling from Bayou Parkland and rode accross the bridge into Hermann Park. Bayou Parkland was a convenient place to park for access to the trails and the restroom there was clean. I cant say if it was typical but at least on this day there was plenty of parking. I was a little bit concerned about security because there was a person sitting in his car that wasnt going anywhere. I did not see any security cameras. After circling the park we rode along the bayou for a few miles then back. It was a beautiful sunny day and overall the trails were in pretty good shape. the trails could have been been maintained better but they werent bad. As we got farther away from Bayou Parkland, the trail system had more grade crossings than I was used to on the trails around San Antonio.

Great connector for herman park. Has a small swing set and a few picnic tables with restroom, but is perfect to access the main park or the bayou bike trail.

I lived within short walking distance from this park for several years and definitely took advantage of it. Theres a nice pedestrian bridge along with bike trail access, and several nature trails. If youre in the area it is definitely worth a stop.

Another excellent location along the famous Pedestrian Parkway which is a series of connecting walkways covering some of Houstons best scenery and extending over 250 miles without ever leaving Houston.
