I love this Parish. The Masses never run late and the music and homilies are always pretty good. However, it is hard to feel apart of the community because theyre not very welcoming, but after attending for 10+ years it feels like home.

I love my church! its always very friendly and everyone treats me and my family with kindness and love. Ive been a member for 21 years and my recommendation to everyone is to not stop coming to church because of some mistakes that happened. The devil loves to attack the church and families, so we need to stay together and pray

We enjoy coming here for daily mass and Sunday mass. It lacks a perpetual adoration chapel though and we like churches that offer more contemporary Christian music but other than that it’s great!

All I see, in comparison to the many Bible versions I read, is $ scammers taking your dollars to put on a theatrical show which you accept as your comfort to Heaven. Heaven or Hell isnt for me to say, but the wide range of participants who practice building osmosis will get an awesome opportunity to look at the unimaginable Power & Authority, Christ Jesus, to snip & babble your opinions to His glorious face! Ha!, Id like to hear how that works out for you. Who reallly wants to know God?... and maybe be careful what you say you ask for.

Wonderful people and they really care about their clients. A top food bank resource for those in the demographic zone of Houston Willowbrook and surrounding areas.Very short wait times to pick up food but the application process is very extensive. You cant just show up and expect help that day of you dont have any paperwork and proof of hardship.

The BEST! Today, they have a beautiful presentation of the rite and history of Latin Mass. Solemn Latin Mass @ noon. And they provide at No-Cost, yes, Free, breakfast and lunch. Gentle volunteers. The place was full. Thank you Fr. Gerald, and all the kind volunteers. A huge main Thanks to the Blessed Sacrament, Jesus, in the center of the altar. Latin Masses will start on January 2020. Praise be to God.

Although this parish has been recently rocked by controversy, you can see a cllective resolve to rise up. The atmosphere is a little sober compared to years back, but it is undoubtedly going to be back or better than before with HIS grace.

The staff started cleaning/picking up food before event was finished(where did all that food go?) ran out of coffee and water, plenty of cookies... Not catered well. Staff more concerned about getting place clean and out of there than providing service... Kind of like, if we dont provide/quit providing these things, theyll leave... Poor thought process if providing that service...

This church has been a disappointment to me and my family since moving to the area almost 40 years ago. I was a young newlywed in 1981 and moved here during the oil boom to begin my career and family. As Prince of Peace was the closest Catholic Church I began attending mass there but never felt the close accepting, inviting and family-like atmosphere one hopes for in a “home church”. It instead felt cold and unfriendly. In 1983 I gave birth to our first child, a son who was born two month premature. He was immediately life-flighted to Texas Children’s Hospital. At the urging of my mother to have my baby baptized as sooon as possible I approached the priest at Prince of Peace after mass on Sunday and asked if he would come to the hospital and perform the ceremony. He told me he was too busy. Thankfully the hospital arranged for a priest to perform the baptism, my baby died nine days later. A coworker from Compaq where I worked referred me to Christ the Good Shepherd, and I began attending mass there, and was much happier. When Compaq was bought out I was laid off and moved to Sugerland where I lived for a number of years. Recently I moved back to this side of town and six month later my husband passed away. I was distraught and badly needed some spiritual help to deal with his passing. Prince of Peace again was the closest catholic church and hoping it had changed I called and left a message requesting time with the priest. I told them my husband had passed and I desperately needed some spiritual guidance. I asked they please return my call so I may schedule some time with the priest and I left my phone number. That was a year ago and I have yet to receive a call back. I do not recommend this church. It’s lovely in appearance so apparently receives plenty of donations, however in my experience it does little for its parishioners. Instead of attending I would recommend praying for it.

At the MARY Chapel, its a good place for morning prayers, specially with the sisters of St. Clare. The campus is quite big though. Hardly anybody knows anybody. Hopefully, a neo-catechumenal community will be established there again. We need more of the smaller communities, within a parish, with 50-90 or a little bit more per community walking at a time, in order for a brethren to really feel theyre walking intimately with other Christians.

This is an AMAZING church. It is so welcoming and the services are very relatable and relaxing. This church has it’s own outreach program and helps out with meals and other necessities as much as possible. It really is a great COMMUNITY. They have programs for families, kids, men, women, mothers, youth, pretty much anything you can imagine. There are great groups and bible studies to join. We pass 3 other Catholic Churches to attend this church! I have been a parishioner for over 25 years and will remain one for as long as God allows.

Went in as a referral from NAM for rental assistance. They were very kind and tried their best to help me. They have an amazing food pantry for those who qualify and they assist you with your groceries. The team here is so kind and amazing! The gentleman that helped me made me feel at ease. He was kind enough to walk with me all the way to the other side of the church. For those that are looking for a new church or are looking for assistance. Look no further than Prince of Peace. They are zip code restricted but they do their best to try and help you. If they cant they provide you with information from other agencies in your area that may be able to assist.

I have been attending Prince of Peace for about 2 months, and I typically attend Vietnamese mass. However, since my husband has converted to catholic, he prefers American mass in order to understand better. It is a challenge for me to learn the prayers in English, though I am a fluent speaker in both languages. That being said, I truly appreciate the church providing the prayers on screen for everyone to read and learn.I truly love how diverse the church is, and they even provide mass is Spanish! Walking into church, you will see everyone in all ethical backgrounds come together as Gods children. I love how welcoming the church members are as we walk in. Everyone greets each other and we all shake hands prior to mass starting.Mass is quite easier to understand and relate to when its in English, and not to mention shorter than Vietnamese. Lol! I quite enjoy coming here every Sunday as it brings me and my husband closer to God, and we cherish those moments of attending Sunday mass together.

Prince of Peace is not just a Catholic church. It is a community of people who come together to pray, share, minister, comfort, support and love. Everyone is welcome - as a guest, parishioner or volunteer. There are many opportunities to pray, learn, serve, share and encounter Jesus. Father John Kellers leadership demonstrates the welcoming love one experiences at Prince of Peace. With 9 masses every weekend offering diversity to everyone, you can choose your time and simply come and gather!
