These are all recent photos. Its a small park with lot of greenery. No wonder why people love it to be there. I usually take a mile walk after lunch to this park, passing through trees and green pathways. Many ones came to eat lunch or just relax on benches. Has small water-ponds, tiny fishes. My favorite is a walkway under trees both sides.

I saw a lot of people not wearing masks. Some were distant from others and I feel like its okay to not wear masks if not close to others. But besides that I was only there for about 15 mins and it was really nice. Very clean. Saw many security staff. And It was an overall good experience

Worthwhile visiting this place. Family-oriented. Cool sculptures. Right now, the ice skating rink is opened, but a bit to crowded. Just walking around the park is perfect if you want to keep safe from the pandemic.

I wouldve given a 4 or even 5 stars but the bicycle & scooter riding around us was so nerve-racking. I nearly got hit twice and had to pull my 7yo child into the bushes at one point because some folks have no mature rider skills Walkways just arent wide enough especially for both pedestrian & riders..other than that we enjoyed taking photos & House of Cards

The park is a great hidden gem in the middle of downtown. There is plenty of room to picnic or play games. Parking can be a little difficult during peak hours because it was mostly street. Theres a parking garage underneath that is a pay to park.

Brought my dog here at night to expose her to a new stimulus for impulse training. There is a nice open grassy space with lots of well-lit areas. People were friendly despite some instances where my dog impulsively ran up to them. Great place. By early 2021, I plan to be able to bring my dog to this location and have zero impulse instances.

Great downtown park with open fields to play, restaurants in the park to eat, and always rotating art displays and events. They also have a water area (fountains that spray water from the ground) for kids to run through during the summer. Bike rentals are available in front of the park as well. It’s a nice place to relax in the city when you’ve seen too much concrete and need a minute with nature.

Day or night, this park is one of our favorite places in the city to visit with our family. The house of cards display is even more amazing at night and we discovered the Glyderz scooter rental so scootering through the park you really get to see how beautiful the city is at night. Our skyline is not the only thing lit up, thanks to Midwest Electric this park is every bit as beautiful whether you visit during daytime or at night. There’s so much to do here highly recommend you bring the family. My son and his friends had such a blast Saturday evening.

If you haven’t checked out Discovery Green in a while or want to or is looking for somewhere to go in Houston, TX, then you e got to skip boredom and visit DG. They have a new Art exhibit of House of Cards, an area to have a picnic. This Houston weather is about to change for the better so maybe consider a picnic here. You can even enjoy a quick exercise whether that’s cardio or yoga. Discovery Green is just one of the best here in Houston, TX. Check it out. 10/10 recommend.

There are always a ton of people, its tiny, probably the worst park in Houston. The House of Cards was cool when it got dark enough, not much to see during the day. A lot of people without mask like COVID just left or something. Whatever, we had ours on so we were doing our part. A lot of homeless, but thats in all the parks, not like they bother anyone. Electric scooters were all over, seem a bit dangerous.
