The multi trails are great to challenge yourself. And mostly shaded. Be careful you can get lost if you dont know the trails.

Every two days come here with my daughter. You can run ,walking , riding bike , doing golf or tennis, just have picnics . Memorial Park is big and safe place , and everyone can find something to do here . Never seen here any little stores with water or snacks , so if you come - bring everything with you

Regular stop to get a “loop” in. Just over three miles if starting at the Trails Center. Great place to start stop a run though. Can get a locker, towel, and shower for cheap if needing to clean up after a run. There are also a lot of trails in the “woods” if wanting something more secluded / less busy. Great park, best running in Houston.

This is my go-to spot for easy runs, long runs and Tempo workouts as well as intervals. There is a small, a irregular, track on-site. The running trails Center is a great place to take a shower and grab some water on hot days. The loop as water fountains in showers as well. The trails are perfect for trail running and mountain biking. The entire areas connectable to the Houston Arboretum as well as Allen Parkway and the Buffalo Bayou trail system.

Simple running and biking trail.Theres trash cans every couple of yards to properly dispose of things. What I like best is how wide the track is so youre never running shoulder to shoulder with anyone.

I have lived in Houston for 5 years and never knew about this gem of a place! These are multi-use trails (running, hiking or biking) and they are just fantastic! Well maintained, clearly marked trails and maps. Great way to escape the city and get lost in the trees!

Excellent gravel trails for running or walking. The ground is well maintained and the crowd is very friendly to runners. It is safe to run here around dusk, and if you are a female it is safe to run in a sports bra and shorts.

This place has truly changed in the past couple of years. The jogging trails are wider and they are renovating the entire area close to the trails. I am really glad that the community is so supportive of these changes and contribute to the well being of this park.

Forrest Gump or the minister who wanders around on his own journey to the west would be happy that there is an effort to provide water for bottles and dogs underneath what you might expect as usual. For those of us who walk, certainly better than not having a trash can for throwing out whatever orange juice or coffee is a facility better than just a redeveloped parking lot. You can pick up bicycles for a fee arranged by some company.

Love this park. So far the best place I have run in Houston. Nice scenic, plenty of eye-candies. Couple of pull-up and dip stations, descent parking lot spaces, clean restrooms at the community center. it offers a gravel track and separate bicycle lane. It was also seen some water fountains as well. Easily a five-star place!

Ho Chi Minh Trail, which is one of the Top 10 Trails in the world, offers views of Buffalo Bayou and River Oaks where a donkey may be seen from the overlook where purple trail connects with blue trail (where it seems the ground seems to open up).One of the bayou trails seems to go on forever... Look out for bikers. Even excellent bikers will find parts of this trail difficult. It brings the best out of you by taking you to another place where you may clear your mind of the citys hustle...
