New photos of Tom Bass Regional Park - Section 1. A new trail has been built.Its a winding trail with nice surroundings. Very enjoyable.

Very diverse park. You can do almost anything you can think of as far as outdoor activities. It is very busy on Saturdays, so come early for a good spot. The tennis courts are great, its rare to find free and open courts in this area.Lots of police presence. Very safe here.

Go running here all the time. Track is asphalt not soft. Very little of it is shaded. Still the park has an amphitheatre, lots of pavilions; a golf course, a demonstration area and is very well maintained. There are several playgrounds for the kids and a nature walk on the other side of Cullen. Well done.

Good dog park although grass needed mowing. Nice short walking path.

Love all of the newly created trails and repairs!! Safety is important. Tom Bass is making safety is priority! One of the best places to walk, run and work out!!

I was there for a walk a thon, it was a GREAT park for the walking & all the other activities as well.

The park is cool if you like having nothing but open fields and tons of wasp. Old playgrounds, walking paths closed off with construction tape for years.

Great place to walk my dogs! Very large with more than enough room for them to explore and play.

Nice place ti play basketball

Its a great park. You can walk, ride your bike on the trails after certain times, you can fish, feed the ducks, lots of picnic tables, pavilion availabe for a reasonable amount. They have wonderful police officers to protect you and very nice maintenance workers.

This was one of the best parks in the Houston area until they took out the 2 world class disc golf courses its a shame the disc golf courses brought so many people to the park and brought money to the area restaurants and stores there were always people playing the courses its a real shame

I used to love coming to tom bass park, it was always so clean and well cared for. Lately in the past 6 months its like park management has stopped caring. The grass is incredibly overgrown. There are large branches and twigs all over that never get picked up. Its truly a shame how poorly cared for the grounds have become. Its used be an amazing park.

Outstanding destination for families...

Like the extensive jogging trail! Never gets too packed either.

Wow great place for road bike riders at all levels. There is a closed 1.5 mi paved loop to practice road bike skills.

Beautiful park, but their cover photo is VERY deceiving. If they DO have a disc golf course, I could not find it, even by going to where the cover photo shows the course. If it did have a disc golf course, or hadn’t advertised they do it would be an EASY five stars..

They consistently let the grass at the dog park get tall, and sometimes shut off the water in the dog washing stations. Such a shame, could really be improved on.

One of my favorite places to run. Nice lake loop with some elevation, on the back trail there are fun bike ramps to ride/run around on. The amphitheatre is nice to check out as well.

Very relaxed place.

Huge place! It has a fishing lake in the entrance then in the farthest back, has workout stations + trails to bike or run/walk, two huge dog parks, has alot off open space for you to workout and not have to bump into people, has an semi steep mini hill next to the auditorium in the far back near a the little lake. I use the stairs a workout along with the hill going up and down. I love this place. Its so peaceful and Ive caught fish here before as well. :)

Great times for the whole family.

I love this park... But they close early as heck during daylight savings time. They close at 7p, but after 6p they wont let you in.

We went for a round of disc and after hole 3 it wasnt kept up at all. The grass was knee high and around the baskets no mowing was done. It was also really hard to see the baskets. I feel this course has potential but needs to be renovated and kept up as closely as the golf course.

Great park for families and kids even has a dog park in the area grills are available also

Disc golf course is across from dog park. 2 courses. One traits by tennis courts and has map under restroom pavilion. Other starts behind pavilion on the southwest of park. Map is there on board. Inside course is nice with obstacles and water crossings. Outside course is long with a few tunnel holes to start. Inside course is recommended for wind days.

Very well maintained park. Playgrounds for kids, tennis courts, open space, and one of the best dog parks I have ever been to.

Nice park, there are lots of walking trails, an off leash dog area, a lake, and a golf course (not sure how much it is to play since I havent played).

Huge amount of playground space. They fly model airplanes on Sundays, though not all Sundays. The kids loved it.

Its awesome friends say its a nice flat ground area to run for cross country

This park is huge. Great place to relax or have family cookouts and fun.

I love it because of the natural beauty of it. Just today i saw an armadillo at the park for the first time in real life. I never saw one inreal life before only pictures of them so seeing one in real life was pretty awesome! For me anyway. I would have taken a picture of it but it went back into the tall grass to quick before i could take a picture of it. It also has covered playgrounds for the kids to play on and dog parks for big dogs and one for lttle dogs to. You can also go fishing there in designate areas. It also has golf courses open to the public and volleyball and basketball to. It also has picnic areas some of them even have bbq pits that u can use and i dont mean the little ones that u see at hermann park but full size ones like the kinds u buy at walmart or home depot and stores like that. It is an awesome place for small and big kids a like. I highly recommend this place for familys. I personally love it!

The people seem to be nice and the dogs play well together.

The best place to be stress-free

The dog park here is very big and fenced in. Has a hose for when your dog decides to self clean in mud. Plenty of parking.

I always had good luck while fishing in tom bass park,hooking channel catfishes on fresh chicken liver,sometimes turtles were nuisance,being approximately 12miles from my home its a usual retreat for me on days when I need some hours of fishing.you have company muskovies take free offerings.
