Excellent place to go to early morning walk with pets & late evening walk with family, friends & pets. Ample parking spaces, lots of open grassy areas, nice view of fountain and kids playground makes time go by quickly while enjoying quality time with family. So dont delay and check out this park.

This park could use more mature shade trees and wooded trails. But it is deep, there are long paved trails. I was there today for the COVID airshow with temperature 96F. View of the runway is blocked by a tree line, but the planes circled directly overhead, and could be seen corkscrew climbing above the flight line.Access to the park by sidewalk was fantastic, rode 4 miles of empty shaded concrete with ramps and crosswalks. So try taking a bike!

Its a beautiful park. Although it doesnt have a lot of parking for large gatherings. I would definitely recommend going though.

Really nice park, the stone henge art thing is cool, there is a well kept walking area and a more wild wetlands area deeper into the woods. so you can pick how hard/adventurous you want to feel. none of it is difficult though. the kids play area seems small to me but, i guess kids are smallthe bathroom, surpisingly was pristine.

Great small Park with a good walking trail and lots of open area. The pond has a fully paved path around it with a good number of benches under tree cover. Be sure to keep an eye out for some turtles who will pop their heads up all around the edges of the pond!

After 5 years, we visited the park yesterday. It looks like the park is in bad shape now. And on top of that there are so many and big black mosquitos there that we came back without spending our scheduled time. Id perhaps not go to that park again.

Stopped by in the evening to enjoy an evening with beautiful weather, and read a chapter in my book. I enjoyed reading by the water while the sun went down. There are sports fields. Plenty of parking, though Im sure during events parking would get scarce. Nice big pond with benches, and a paved walking trail around it. There are more walking trails I will go back to walk another time. Theres a playground for children too. Pond water did have a smell, but from what I could tell it was natural.

I visited for the first time today and I really enjoyed. Theres plenty of nature for your dogs to run around. The pond was full of turtles. There is a small playground for the little ones. Also there are bathrooms on site and they were clean with toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels. I didnt see any water fountains so be sure to bring water with you. Theres a side concrete trail that goes in a simple circle surrounded by trees. Along that trail there are benches you can rest on. This is definitely a place to come and relax either alone or with company. Very nice place!

Its interesting park, has a huge water fountain, and a stone hengesk like formation in the center. Its large, and has a playground. Lots of places to sit, and a large open field. Good place to go for a jog or take the dog for a walk, although there isnt a dog park.

Love this park! Never too busy, but biggest downside is that people need to clean up after their dogs. The playground looks quite unique and really fun for kids. Good sized path circling the woods and I love that the turtles in the pond always come up to you to say hi.

Very quiet, very green, very accessible. A good place to get out in nature for anyone, but abnormally good for people using wheels to get around. Lots of good parking, close to a mile of paved pathway for people who might have issues with the ups and downs of sidewalks and traffic. Strollers and wheelchairs will find few obstacles to moving freely.

Lake is entirely artificial and so kind of sterile feeling with just a few timid turtles and no ducks or plants or anything. The large circle is interesting but doesnt have a lot to keep you interested once youre there. The playground isnt much fun and is totally exposed to sun.

Great park. Fishing pier tickets available at the store in the park. Beaches on both sides of the park. Can only go so far due to the currents. Always full on Easter which is a beautiful place to celebrate. Some of the tables have barbecue pits. Its a nice option if you arent up to the drive to Galveston.

Pretty nice park, decent size. Grass needs to be mowed more often. Our dog definitely likes it! Be careful during coyote season. My husband took our dog there around 5 - 5:30pm and 2 huge coyotes attacked him. He was able to get away with just a cut as my husband scared them off but it couldve ended a lot worse. This happened very close to a playground so I would be extra careful and on the lookout.

Come here and be prepared to be locked in the park BEFORE it gets dark. Had to wait an hour along with another person waiting to get unlocked to leave. The rangers clearly dont make their rounds. I come here all the time but now i think i need to find a new place to go so i dont get locked in at the park. I was done walking by 830. Was not dark yet. Whoever is running this park is careless towards people.

A really cool Park with a lot of open space for playing Frisbee, tossing a ball around, or just laying out in the sun! The trails are well done and are decently long, so its nice for running too. The stone pillars are neat, but dont seem to serve much practical purpose unless you happen to be there on a solstice, but thats okay because they look cool and add a nice flavor to the park.
