We attended a college tour at Rice and it started at this hall. Excellent ambience and seating.

What a great place to listen to a concert! We attended a Shepherd School Symphony Orchestra concert here, and the acoustics were awesome. Of course, it helped that the Symphony Orchestra was awesome as well. Three fabulous pieces of music, very well conducted.It really helped that the seats and the leg room are comfortable and generous. On a cool evening outside, the inside climate was just right ... not too hot and stuffy, not cold at all.We look forward to more concerts at this venue.

What a lovely place to hear the legendary Gloria Steinman! Clean and spacious space. Good acoustics!

Rice Universitys Shepherd School of Music is one of the finest in the country. The performance halls have excellent acoustics. And, the concerts are free of charge. The parking is not free, however. You will be amazed by how well the students play. Highly recommend.

I love that Stude Hall was opened up to the Houston Symphony during flooding aftermath of Harvey. We had some truly spectacular concerts there
