The vibes,comfort,excellent service and food were all that and more. The music made me want to hop around and dance while I waited for our mouth watering food. The jumbo shrimp did not disappoint or the Enchiladas topped with avocado with a side of dirty rice. This place has a bar and a DJNot many places capture all the senses or attention but this place sure did,we are curious and want to try more but our stomachs will burts

As an Special Events Organizer for a Houston Area School District, we use the Bayou City Event Center for multiple events each year, including commencement, prom, and many other events. The Bayou City Event Center has been great to work with over the past years, and particularly positive to work with as a thought partner in rethinking the events we had scheduled that are being disrupted by COVID-19.There personalized approached to events, allows you to sit down with them and work out the details you will need, to develop plans with your third party contractors, their facility staff, and their subcontractors (e.g., how we can prepare off duty officers to help with traffic flow).Their investments in their facilities, improves the space year over year. One such recent update was a major upgrade to their house lighting system. Even when issues arise, they work to make the situation right.

10.00 to pay for parking at an amateur event is robbery. 10.00 for EACH motorcycle when 2-3 (20-30.00) can park in one spot is robbery. Venue is nice. The promotion company Im sure had to rent facility. The owner still has to charge exploitive rates to park. We were told if parking on road next to, cars would be towed. When lot was completely filled to capacity side isles and all the whole street next up and down filled up and was let to park FREE. No tow trucks were called. Lies all lies to get you to pay.

Its a Nice place and its easy to find. I went here for an event and I was impressed... I can see how it would be an ideal location for other personal events.

Beautiful venue, much larger than it seems. Huge ballroom. Would be great for weddings or large formal events. At the event I attended, there was space for about 500 guests to sit comfortably at various table types, a large area for silent auction items to be set up, a dance floor, a stage for the band, and a big room off to the side for any other festivities (photo booth, etc). Big kitchen for staff to work out of to serve food and plenty of bathrooms. Lots of media options with big tv screens throughout.

The Bayou Event Center was beautiful and spacious! Super convenient for me...This was the 1st time that this particular event (HAABSE Teacher Ceremony) was held here.

Attended the 2019 DOD Ball and this venue was great! Staff was attentive, polite, and helpful. Venue itself was big but separated in such a great flow. Clean and I can see how this is a great venue for all kinds of events.

Very nice venue for events and what not... sizable, has good lighting, you can make it work for sure. And the staff is friendly and nice. I dont know how affordable it is.

Nice venue for a larger banquet or meeting. Nothing particularly exciting about the outside, but the inside is pleasant and easily accommodates hundreds of people. No idea on pricing for facility use.

Bayou City Event Center is extremely spacious. The food was absolutely superb. The staff was friendly, organized, and very attentive.

Pink elephant even was a such thing. I have never, never seen a lot of great things for less. I wish they can have those sales more often. Other than that this place was pretty good

Its a decent place plenty of parking. If you come for an event you have to go early to get a good spot of else your gonna have to park outside in the streets and walk in.

This event center is worth a visit. It is tucked away near 610 and 288.It is a large, clean, and well air conditioned building. There is plenty of parking available. Staff seemed quiet and nice. Would recommend.

This facility hold and host multiple businesses events. Can be used for weddings. Smaller areas for brides maid party. It has an open out door patio for group ventures or family reunion gatherings.Plenty of free parking

Fabulous place for an event. The only reason I didnt give it a fifth star is due to how difficult it is to find and get in and out.

I attended a graduation ceremony here for around a 100 students. There property is gated and there was one entrance and exit open. There is a healthy amount of parking is the first thing I noticed. The venue is modern and very nice for Many different type events not matter the size. I definitely look forward to utilizing the staff services/booking in the future!

The place was nice but the food that was served was gross and some of the servers were slackers but I had some much needed fun and I got up, got down, got funky, got loose.

Customer Service Excellence; GORGEOUS Venue!

Clean and spacious. Plenty of parking space.

A good event venue, lots of space, free parking. Can be divided into small to large rooms. Large outdoor open shed for outdoor parties. Open area for outdoor wedding under the sky. Courteous staff. One thing that I noticed lots of spiderwebs around corners and outdoor connecting areas, thats why one less star.

The venue was clean and spacious. There was plenty seating available. The accoustics were ideal and I heard the speaker with no issues. The setup up could be broken down and the Convention Cener repurposed.

Beautiful center, staff was excellent and I must say that if the ladies restroom is magnificently clean, youre royal.

Very elegant, lots of parking. Hated all the road construction around it.

The wait staff are great. They take their job seriously. They are curteuous and polite. The best part is that they kept the coffee on and full with water and sodas ready and cold to drink. The restroom attendant did am excellent job at keeping everything tidy, filled and in its place. Would love to book an event there in the near future.

Huge space and clean restrooms. I visit this place every month for tax sale auctions. I cant imagine how the weddings and other events will make you feel in the evening with such nice royal decor and chandeliers. Ample parking space and convenient location.

Ive been here for a few events, the location of the benefit hall is confusing, especially if taking an Uber, Im not sure why only half of the gates are accessible but, thats just how they do it for certain events i suppose. The staff are friendly, bathroom are abundant and clean, but the last even i attended there were no paper towels at all. There is plenty of parking, and they have pop up bars areas per your event, but they are cash only, at least at the event i attended. I was a little thrown off because i wanted to have a really good time (wink) but i didnt bring cash, and theres no ATM in the entire place. so....we had one drink and...left early to go home and make margaritas. All in all the place is nice and i would visit again, with cash and paper towels.

Awesome space to transform

Very useful area for big events. As a minority community in Houston, we celebrated our new year gathering with a concert including dance groups and singers with their bands there. Hall is very equipped and very adjustable and versatile to make a scene for dancers and music bands. Small meeting rooms is manageable to do collatral ceremony activities.

Good place the organization is the best about the collegue fair

I called In to make an appointment for a tour to potentially book the place for my upcoming wedding. They instructed me that they only do tours during business hours, I explained to the phone rep that I work during those hours. He was not accommodating- I wonder how they expect someone to give them $16k+ when they can’t even accommodate their clients

Very nice venue for a large group. We helped serve over 1500 people a nice meal. There was plenty of room, space for bars, mingling, and the location makes it easy to get in and out of. I highly recommend this place.
