Smaller theater. Id say just under a high school auditorium. We really liked it. More intimate, and there isnt a bad seat. The staff is always friendly and helpful at the hobby center.

Second (smaller) theater located in the Hobby Center. This theater holds about 500 people, with an orchestra section and a mezzanine section. All seats in this theater are good seats with good sight lines. Most of the shows in this theater are very reasonably priced. Parking and a restaurant are located on-site!

Excellent medium sized venue for music events and theater productions.. Acoustics / sound system is state-of-the-art. Located Downtown Houston in the middle of the Theater District, with a very nice parking garage ($15 flat event fee). Zilkha Hall is a part of the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.

Nice venue for smaller productions at the Hobby Center. Offers drinks and snacks. Nice lobby should you get a chance to meet cast members after the show.

The Zikha Hall of the Hobby Center is one of the places one can visit during this holiday season. Contact the customer service department for their variety of shows and time. You will definitely have a blast time of relaxation and enjoyment. The Hobby Center is one of the numerous attractions of our beloved H-Town, (Houston)

Beautiful intimate performance hall. Great acoustics and the volunteer staff are always welcoming and happy to help. Watched a few shows here already and enjoyed each one. Parking downtown is always the biggest issue so allow time to find parking and get to the show on time.

Fine small stage. You are in the big city with 6 million people.Try a happy hour somewhere before to save money .Parking in street is free after 6 PM. . Its a maybe and you will walk some to find it.Underground parking is across the street $12 plan on this unless you have a Lexus which is free in Hobby Valet.Uber or Meteo are good options too. This is all first class entertainment!Seriously, If you think these prices are not cheap please never go to NYC, Chicago or San FranEnjoy Houston, its a world class surprise!!

Make sure to get there 45 minutes early to park ($12) - thats what they said - but also probably so you have time to empty your wallet at the concession stand. $15 for a beer and sparkling water. Plastic cups. How a place that charges so much for everything gets away with having a bunch of volunteers do all the work, instead of paying employees like everyone else, is beyond me (same with the fact most people dont see a problem with this). I know - they say its art and without this it wouldnt happen. Then you see 3 pages of rich donors being thanked. So you are making sure the primary audience is those people, I guess. I would love to see what the (probably privileged few) artists actually get.

It is located on a one way road so it is obvious to get confused in the downtown while searching for the car park and mostly in search for a closer parking spot.Parking is a bit tricky here. It is behind the main entrance. So please be prepared to take an immediate right turn next to the main entrance.
