I’ve seen so many amazing DJ’s here. Been coming here for over 5 years and they always have the best of the best! Never over priced, no need to worry about annoying dress codes clubs enforce, and all around great vibe.

This venue does not have an ADA area & seemed unaware that it is required by federal law to have one BUT if you call ahead and talk to the manager they will make accommodations! I called ahead, discussed what my needs were & then at arrival talked to manager George/Jorge who lead me to a seating area they had roped off for me in the back of the VIP area. This worked great for me but if you are wheelchair bound you would not be able to access this area due to a elevated step (and would not have visibility).Overall staff could use training on ADA law & the staff could use more planning in safe accessible areas for the future.Overall though I was very pleased with the accommodations I was given. Thank you George/Jorge for helping me!Edit: after glancing at the other reviews & seeing issues with security, I should note that security gave me a lot attitude for asking for the manager. I asked for George after my ID was checked & ticket was scanned because that’s what I was told to do by the staff member I initially talked to on the phone. Ticket agent told me to go look for him inside, when I asked what he looked like the security guard asked me ‘why I needed to talk to someone I’ve never seen before’. After asserting myself, my rights & talking with other security guards George came to help but before he helped me he asked to recheck my ID for my birthday (not to check my name nor my ID# to match my proof of disability). My birthday has nothing to do with being disabled and it’s concerning if a manager cannot trust the security to do their job properly. Other then that George was helpful!

Have attend two shows after Something Wicked and Freak Deaky has a great time at both. Love their outside section! Wish Dallas had a section the same. The stage and room are wide instead of long like Dallas and gives more opportunity to be in front. Would love to visit again.

Fun experiences. Ive been going for years. RARELY any fights. People are polite for the most part. HIGHLY recommend if youre looking for a good time!

We always have fun here. I’ve heard from others that parking sucks sometimes but we always Uber. Then we walk to the close and nice hotels. Women’s bathroom is always clean and has personal items available. Drinks are a bit pricy but I mean it’s a pricy area.

One of the better places in town to catch an EDM show. Theres a nice sized floor. The place is small enough that youre never too far from the stage but not so small that its super crowded. Theres a nice outdoor patio area too. Theres usually 3 bars open, one downstairs, one outside and one upstairs. Sometimes the upstairs VIP area will be closed though. The service at the bars is usually pretty good and Ive never had to ever really wait super long to get a drink.

Amazing place to have a great time. I’ve never had a problem with anything or anyone and the free water is AMAZING. I’m gonna keep telling you how great this place is so I can meet my character count and get my new badge.Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Stereo Live is home away from home. They always bring the best talent into town. Crowd is very welcoming as is the staff. The patio was revonated and is beautiful. The light display and audio is top notch.

I had purchased two VIP tickets in January of this year for an event in May. In March the outbreak of COVID-19 started shutting everything down as well as the artist cancelling their tour for the year which cancelled the event. When reaching out to Sterio live by email all that they said was “ the show is in process for a future date and refunds will be talked about at a later date”. A couple weeks after that the show was moved to September. When asking for a refund still the answer was the same “ refunds are being looked at at a future date. Fast forward to July I sent another email asking for a refund due to the spike of COVID-19. The response was yet again “ refunds are being looked at closer to the event date” this company is so greedy and holding peoples money hostage. Their saying anything they can to avoid giving people their money back. In this time people need money for other things. The whole point is the event was cancelled and they need to give refunds instead of pushing the dates back etc. I will never purchase from sterio live or an event every again this is ridiculous.

Awesome music venue. The lights in this place are amazing. Only con is doesn’t have a great view for the floor unless you’re close.

I Love the music, & I love the people @ Stero Live! The staff work very hard at this venue to keep the place enjoyable. The stairs could use some lighting though. The owner is very nice and supportive of the music community in houston, producers from all over, the followers, and it shows how committed he is to keep it alive every time I come out. Threw a party here for my friends 21st. Bottle service was good, everything went well and it was KSHMR so we had a blast. Great environment and people . Will be back !

The place is cute, security do a good job at the entrance and is a nice place to spend wild dancing nights. Has a nice outdoor patio where you can smoke and is heated when is cold. Bathrooms are well taking care of with polite personnel. Good job guys!The reason why can’t be a five star is because the audio system resonates at mid low frequencies, lights needs a push upgrade with some lasers but most of all they charge $10 for a glass of water filled with ice. While I don’t care they charge $15 for alcoholic drinks, the water charge is outrageous. Cmon guys ... last thing you need is dehydrated customers on a techno event. Sell a bottle of water for $6 is more reasonable ;)

Come here for every major DJ visiting town. If you have a particular DJ in mind you want to see check their lineup online.The club itself is relatively spacious. I recommend getting there like 1130 to order your drinks and get situated as the the headline DJ usually plays around 1230. If youre lucky enough you can make your way upfront for an awesome experience! If youre an EDM fan and havent been here then go check the line up online and arrange a night with your crew. Not only is the staff extremely friendly as well as the owners but this place has really improved over the years in other areas. This is one of the few clubs I have ever visited in the whole United States were after the show there is an area where if DJs opt for it you can take pictures with them (this night Dash Berlin also known as Jeff Sutorius). The club has improved in other ways as well. The sound system is incredible the bass hits so hard you can feel the wind from the speakers. The lights are outstanding they come down in different shapes and all over the club. Sometimes they let you upstairs and enjoy Vip upstairs at no extra charge. Sometimes they have the lasers going. This last experience was amazing. But most importantly the AC was blowing so hard I actually let my long hair down. Strongly recommended.

Outside is a little dead and very dark, inside the vip section was closed and only friends of friends were allowed. (We were ready to pay extra). The line is extensive but we bought express (highly recommended) to cut the line. They didn’t really check my bag, they missed a few pocketa ( i called’m off on that). And it smelled like weed inside. But I appreciate them putting carpet during foam party, because the original floor is concrete. And the drinks start at $7.

In my opinion Stereo Live is one of the most premier spots for nightlife and clubbing events some of the worlds top class DJs have done their concerts at this venue amazingly exciting positive atmosphere and environment for parties I think this is an incredibly spectacularly tremendous spot for enjoying nightlife in the Houston area.

Been going to this place for years now. They have recently improved the outdoor patio and the sound system is amazing. Great place to go if you want to listen to some EDM or some dirty dub. Also dont forget your card after a night of partying.

Super helpful bouncers. Good sound system. Never too crazy of a line at the bar outside nir the bathroom. Sound system is dope and theyve upgraded the visuals with lasers and awesome super HD led screens. Will absolutely return here. Also no search st the door at all.

This place is actually awesome , so if ur going for a concert , it is so much fun because ticket prices are usually cheap and Everyone has an equal opportunity to make it to the front because there is no barriers between the other tickets. So if I get a p5 and my friend gets p1 the only difference would be that he gets to go in first before everyone and what ever else the ticket comes with . I will go in last since I got p5 but since it’s a non barrier concert so I can push my self to him in no time

Does not allow any glow toys. It is really sad to not let a dancer to come in with flow toys to dance with. Yeah I want to be legit and really stand out thats one way to allow people like me to come in and dance and put on a show.

Im very thankful that Houston has this venue for EDM fans.

Just experience it.. It speaks mountains.. I absolutely ADORE this place. A community that is so sweet loving and fun.

One of the few places that consistently have edm artists flowing through. Drinks are good. Bottle service for vip comes with good service, we never ran out of mixers or our fave soda and always had fresh ice, they also made sure to check on us as well.Sound is great, multiple viewing points be it downstairs on main floor or upstairs on balcony. Multiple bars, restroom, outside area as well if you need a break. Parking was $10 was able to park by entrance. Dress code usually depends on the type of event but for the most part if your unsure casual is okay, check their website.

I was there for rave DJ VINCENT. This place is pretty convenient but service needs to be more polite.

Great venue. Nice lobby. Great lights and production. Timeliness of getting people inside when it was cold was great and fast paced. Had warm lanterns to keep us warm. When the concert was packed, somehow there was cool air blowing in.Great venue great show great time!#SlanderFam

Great place for EDM, rave, dance music. Indoor/outdoor bars, bottle service, two story structure. Great place for the DJs genre.

Amazing place for fun dance party

Saw Oh My Girl perform here, and the show was amazing! The venue is a decent size, not small but not huge either. It was easy to hear the concert and there was a lot of parking. A bit difficult to find on your first trip, but overall a nice venue.

Houstons only true EDM venue. Drink lines are usually short because everyone is on something else. The venue is by far not going to make the top 100 list in the country and thats mostly because of the lights and sound. If youve been to good venues in the past youll know what I mean. Otherwise people wont notice. The vip section is on ground floor left side. Upstairs is a bar and unless you get a spot at the railing you cant see anything. Overall the place hasnt changed much in years and the lights and sound are behind current world class standards. But hey its a fun night out.

Place is sweet!You can rave in the pit by the stage, hang out upstairs in the VIP area, or you can go outside and hang out in this chill quieter area. Great place for groups or by yourself!

My favorite venue for EDM! I get my cardio in at all their dubstep events. The lights, visual, and sound system are great. The staff and bouncers are extremely friendly. They have sofas to sit and a bar with average club pricing. The crowd here is pretty laid back and good vibes all around!

Place is a little dirty, but for this type of establishment it is not horrible. Good sound from all over and the outside seating/ smoking area is really nice. It is a large area worth additional bar and do booth. Great set up.

As many shows that they have here, Im surprised they havent done much with it. Decent sound system, but horrible acoustics. Not bad if you like the empty warehouse feel. All the bartenders I have come in contact with are nice, but the guys at the door are extremely rude.

Security is rude af. Let someone in with no ID bc the guy “knew” him but wouldn’t let us in with new tickets then said we cussed him out when we asked a simple question and wasn’t rude at all.

Pretty good place. Its one of the places where a lot of the popular EDM artists play.

Best place to dance the night away. You don’t get the vibe of suspicious characters roaming around like the nightclub scene. Judgement-free zone with nice lights and great vibes.Tickets are reasonably priced, especially when purchased early. Stereo Live hosts quite a few free events as well that are fun, especially with friends(i.e. electric foam, electric paint). Don’t have a friend? You’ll find one. Just be friendly and smile!! :)

Venue itself was good for the EDM show I went to but the security didnt accept my Michigan ID for a wrist strap and the separate VIP wait lines for standard and meet&greet were disorganized. They only had enough tent space for 10 people with at least 30 others standing in the rain.

Havent been to a nastier establishment my whole life. Even the staff are disgusting and rude. 1st and last time here. Dont waste your money, theyre also going to spam you via phone if you attend an event at this place. Barf barf barf.

Worst service Ive ever had I went with a friend and they refused service to her because they thought her ID was fake when shes of age and it was her real ID, she even repeated her address and they looked it up in front of her but no still they thought it was fake like great job! They even refused service to her because she gave them attitude. The bouncers need better training of they cant even tell a real ID from a fake one. Never am I coming here again!

I purchased VIP tickets from a vendor 2 weeks in advance showed up to show to see DJ Pauly D on Friday on time at 10:00 p.m(when doors opened)for a good spot, to later be moved from spot around 12:30 a.m. before performer comes out for a reserved crew in a not reserved location from the beginning. Was unable to see the show because the area was so packed and I was very upset with the way this was handled from the beginning.

This place is usually disorganized but gets you where you need to go. At midnight, free tickets are no longer free, there are long lines so plan accordingly. Pay for your ticket beforehand to avoid any of that.

$11/drink. The second floor balcony is decent to see the performers and there is a covered patio that is good

You purchase tickets online with different tiers. You get there and nothing is sectioned off? Strange system?? We went for a venue and the ticket gave the headliners name but not the opening acts. Not very transparent.

Stereo Live is a solid venue - especially for Houston. Plenty of parking, good area, and great artists.

Pregame before coming here. Drinks arent cheap but the venue is nice they have a stage inside nd outside and a second floor inside (my favorite) shows get loud and crunk for sure

Bartender and the very end under stairs, absolute trash. Rest of the entire building and staff amazing. If I put my ID in your face that says 1995, with my picture on it, with an drinking age verified wrist band on. How the hell am I a minor? Im older than you, okay its okay. just walk 3 feet towards the door and there is 2 other bartenders ;)

Been to a few nights here now, all across the building. I have seen everyone from Diesel Boy, Afrojack, and Richie Hawtin in the main room to Plaid in a smaller bar upstairs. Sound ist usually pretty good, plenty loud. Staff are friendly enough, plenty of dance floor.

Nice outside patio thats been remodeled beautifully. Great sound system with amazing light shows. Pretty decent space. The drinks on the other hand are a bit too pricey.

Enjoyed the more intimate setting. It is not very big. Service from bar was great. Sound was great. Some of the patrons need to learn a bout personal space, but other than that I had a great time there

I told my girlfriend her lips looked scaly and tried to put chapstick on her. Got slammed by a guard, my chap stick SMUSHED the guard took my chapstick and told me “I work here! Do you know who I am?” Come on man... I get it people are crazy. This place has gone downhill.

Good venue for edm music but you can’t give gum to your friends without the staff assuming your selling drugs

I have really had some good experiences at this venue in the past. Theyve booked some of the hottest DJs in the Electronic Dance Music industry and continuously provide an opportunity for local support to perform. However, Im not too fond of the VIP experience as you most likely wont be able to see the entertainer on a busy night. Theyve renovated their outside patio and I hope the continue to do so. Also, somehow lost my card while purchasing drinks and someone tried to use it. Fortunately my bank had alerted me so I was lucky. Pros and cons with this place and I hope to see more investments made.

Good place for events especially concerts

My second home on the weekends, Venue is one of my favorites in Houston. With the right DJ Stereo Live is a night to always remember.

Go there and see for yourself. Everyone likes something different. This is defiently different from the nice clubs i like. I gave it 1 star because they attrack some of the best talent in music and for better or worse no one can im H town.

Sometimes its a hit or miss with the DJs. Always have had a good time either way specially with the foam party.

Houston Nightlife scene is something else. Theres a strong appreciation for EDM in Houston-- always have a great time coming here. Also, the venue has a nice set-up. The upstairs is reserved for VIP, but if you ever get tired or need a breather, theres also a nice patio area where people relax at.

The artist selection here is really great and they employees are really good. The sound system and lighting are also top notch. They only complaints are the drink prices are a bit high for Houston standards and they could spend a little money on the facility. A bit outdated decor. For the high ticket prices and drink prices this place should be a palace.

Consistently excellent: Bartenders, management, service. We got asked up on stage during a foam party and sprayed foam out of huge foam turrets all over the crowd! Unforgettable. Audio Visual and Production crews were on point and their precision mapped scenes intensified an already energetic show on stage.

If youre into EDM, dance and lots of the good DJ names, then this is your spot. It can hold up to 2000 people, so you can imagine how pack it can get. Get in process is fairly easy and organized compared to venues of this size. Once youre in, getting a drink from the few bars around the dance floor is not an issue. Price is what to expect for a club in Houston. We tried the bottle and VIP service where we sat upstairs. Great view and service. You have lots of parking and you can either valet or self-park at the back of the venue. If you go there with a group of people for birthday or parties and get the vip service, its very fun experience.

Went there yesterday for Slander. Very impressed. Sound was alright, not too loud but could‘ve been a bit more banging. For someone visiting from germany it was a great experience tho!
