The drawings are beautiful and the staff is very friendly and gives wonderful insight and information on some of the work.

Excellent quiet and relaxing place and the institut service extinguished

I loved having an opportunity to explore this new art center. The Menil is, as always a wonderful place to spend a weekend afternoon and the new drawing institute just adds to the charm. They have rotating exhibits so it’s definitely a place to come multiple times throughout the year.

Multiple minimal drawings in various colors. Quick walk-through, but it was nice and cool. Very clean bathrooms and the whole place still smells clean and fresh.

Superb addition to the Menil Collection. Like the rest of the Menil, this is a quiet, understated place. The gallery is small, so you may spend more time admiring the architecture than the actual art.

I enjoy the packaging even more than the gift. This building is amazing. Walk around outside, look at the shadows, lines. Walk around inside, notice the little details in the bathroom and giant windows, natural light, art.

As an individual place to visit, it requires about 30-60 mins max. I saw some people walk in and out while I was waiting for my fiancée, so there isn’t an extraordinary amount of content. The place is serene, the architecture some of the best in the city.As a collective, the menil is a powerhouse conglomeration of art. It’s breadth now is growing to be one of the most impressive outpourings in the world. Keep up the great work!
