It absolutely beautiful. This was thw very first aquarium Ive been to and I loved it. Definitely a must see! The gift shop is nice. If you go through it they even have a spot where you can buy food to feed the little manta rays! Feels weird but its amazing!

Our server, Taylor, was amazing. Great recommendations, very attentive, and on top of everything. The food was good (I like my cajun stuff more spicy)but the experience is what you go for! Service, and ambiance was fantastic! Very fun, and unique place to eat.

We took the grandkids to the exhibit, and that was great!!! It was really neat, the white tiger is gorgeous!! The restaurant on the other hand is not so great. Visually, its very nice. But the quality of food was not!! I had the chicken alfredo, and it wasnt alfredo sauce I got, it was greasy butter sauce. The kids got chicken tenders with fries...3 very small tenders and like 5 fries, wow!! Prices were quite high considering the quality of food. Service was mediocre...and they werent busy. We may return to the exhibit one day, but not the restaurant!!

Good place all age groups can have good time... the social distancing was maintained and it is worth the visit the whole tour ll take up to 2 hours

The wife and I tried their Restaurants Week deal, and had the same thing in mind when we saw the menu. I was a bit disappointed with the Calimari. I tasted breading and squid, but no real seasoning in the breading. And the marinara dipping sauce tasted like thin tomato soup.The steak was too lightly seasoned for my tastes. I did appreciate that they cooked it to the level of rarity I wanted it, though. And the size of the steak was a generous portion. The potatoes were creamy, but the green beans lacked flavor.The cake was tastey and very sweet. It had a nice citrus flavor to accompany the chocolate shavings and fruit sauce.For drinks, I had the Cucumber Mule. It was very refreshing to enjoy with my meal. The wife had the Shark Bite which was fruity in flavor and was very sweet.

Food is amazingI live in Padra Island so finding good food in other areas is tough to beat but this place is great

Really great place to eat and have a nice meal with friends or your spouse. The waiter I had was amazing and his recommendations were spot on. We found a Groupon for this place and I tell you it was well worth the money. Theres only a few attractions open and the lady at the ticket booth informed us that the shark exhibit was closed as well as the train. they have sanitizer station throughout the restaurant and I also saw a few out by the rides as well. If you havent been I definitely recommend taking a trip out and enjoying yourself.

First thing first poor customer service,the place felt unsanitize the menu I received had food on it and it was sticky. Didnt receive no napkins nor silverware to eat with. Didnt have my drink refilled once. The food was extremely salty, Your better off at eating at McDonalds.

The food is so, so, so delish! I have ordered the Atlantic Herb Crusted Salmon the last 2 times I have gone. I would like to try something different but the salmon is cooked to perfection. You get a large filling sized fillet, the thinner outer edge of one side of the fish has been delishously caramelized in what ever god send of a sauce they fry it in, and it’s sssoooo moist. Oh! And the capers add a phenomenally savory blend to the over all experience. The two sides: mashed potatoes and asparagus, do not take away from the center piece (the salmon). The mashed potatoes are cooked and seasoned to perfection, not too savory and not too bland. The asparagus is blanched, cooked in a delectable savory sauce but does not over power the salmon, only adds to it.It’s so tasty I honestly keep forgetting to take a photo.

My first time visiting the Aquarium was in high school, over a decade ago. I didnt remember the food quality but only the cool view of the fish tank. My husband has never been and because hes from Florida he absolutely love fish and anything sea related. So we went there yesterday to celebrate our 11 year anniversary. Boy were we disappointed.1) We ordered the crab dip for an appetizer but the waiter said they only had one order left so it might not be available. Once we got the confirmation it was available we ordered it but they ended up accidently giving it to another table2) My scallops in my Mahi Mahi entree was not cooked but when i notified the manager he simply took only the scallops instead of the plate, had it seared lightly and brought it back still not thoroughly cooked inside. Is there not concern for cross contamination with cooked versus uncooked seafood? Isnt there a possibility that it can harbor bacteria that are ingested from their habitat and the only way to kill the bacteria is by throughly cooking the scallop?3) The food was extremely disappointing. Im actually shocked by the good reviews about how good the food is. If you think this is amazing, you havent had amazing food. My Mahi Mahi entree had rice that was not only bland but some grains were undercooked. It reminded me of a box of instant rice you can buy from Walmart when you dont know how to really cook/ perfect rice. Our green beans were also bland and werent even prepared properly; they still had stems hanging on them. I mean its not a huge deal but if youre paying almost $30 for an entree you would expect it to be better. My husbands ribye steak was laughable. Honey when I tell you even Texas Roadhouse steak was better in the $20s versus this entree at $35! I think we paid $103 for the fish tank view because the food was so disappointing and we will not be going back unfortunately. If you have younger kids the outdoor stuff would be fun for them but I think this place is overpriced. I think we still stick to Truluck, Pappasitos, Flemings, Babins or Landrys instead. I cant believe theyre related.

This is a wonderful dining concept for families, and very kid friendly. The huge aquarium that is the centerpiece of the restaurant is breathtaking. The food is a different story, it’s absolutely equivalent to Red Lobster, at a higher price point. But I’d have to say worth it for the overall experience.

Very good food. I had the fried alligator and fried shrimp tacos. The waitress didnt come back for a refill on drinks till we were done with eating. Thats why I only gave it 3 stars. Food 5 stars

Great place to go with the family! We got the Full Pass and enjoy the rides outside as well as the aquarium, so beautiful! We got to pet stingrays and went through a shark tunnel. Also ate at the restaurant inside, and it was so good! definitely recommend!!

Expensive but fun, I wouldnt recommend it though during the outbreak considering a lot of people arent effectively following covid 19 guidelines potentially spreading those more vulnerable to the virus. Other than that, highly recommend going onces this outbreak is over. Right now too many people touching everywhere with loose or no mask at all

Amazing place to experience with family or dates. They have two locations, downtown and Kemah. The downtown location has an Aquarium Adventure Exhibit, amusement rides, shark voyage train ride and white tigers. Great service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Delicious food with an awesome view. Highly recommend!

Went here for some food for the kids after visiting the aquarium and riding rides. The kids all enjoyed their $6-8 kids meals with generous portions. Our waiter Stanley was attentive and friendly with the kids. The giant aquarium in the middle of the restaurant was nice entertainment. I would recommend if your visiting the aquarium but wouldnt make a special trip just to eat there.

Extremely busy but all the staff was super friendly, the aquarium was beautiful and very relaxing. Only negative is the parking can be a little tough to find your car and little bit of a walk but so worth it!!!!

Such a great place for family! The Aquarium restaurant serve delicious entres and desserts. The Captains plater was our favorites. There were free live music. We enjoy it, and so did our son since the water splash pad was in front of the stage! Theres also a mini train ride that my son love. Overall, great place to hang out.

I love this restaurant! My cousin can not consume Gluten, when she asked the waiter what she could eat he immediately told her that he would send the chef to our table which he did to make sure he did not mess up ;-) everything was quite lovely. This is a place for family, friends, kids, good fun and an overall fun. I loved watching the fish while eating my meal!!!

Food was good but pricey (as expected for that restaurant), 3 fish sticks and fries $18.99. Thought there would be more then that but I will say it was cooked well. Asked for crispy fries and although they didnt come out that way, management came over to check on us and he fixed it right away. Service was ok, pleasant waiter but drinks needed filling more often than he was there. One of the kids didnt care for the burger which was surprising, the other kid liked her pasta with alfredo. They have a coupon on their site that allows one free kids meal with every paid adult meal si when you add that savings in the mix, the price overall was fine. Scenery is always good and the reason we go. They are practicing social distancing in the restaurant (not so much in the aquarium itself).

The aquarium is nice but it is small. Interestingly enough they also had a tiger exhibit! We got to see them being fed.

Delicious food and gorgeous views. The fish tanks at the restaurant really are exceptional, especially the 40’ tank running up three stories of spiral staircase. You can rent out the top floor for private events. It is a fantastic venue.

My family and I enjoy coming to the Aquarium for all the varied activities and entertainment. Today my son and I decided to make a special day of it and also had lunch there. We are Landrys reward members and with that we are accustomed to a certain level of service as well as quality of food. Our waiter was great! Courteous and attentive inspite of the crowd.My issue began with my fish being raw which although it was addressed to the manager by another waiter and replaced I honestly had lost my appetite and did not want to risk eating another undercooked piece of fish .And then .. my bill came back which showed my reward used of 25$ which I had told them to save . ( this was not a big deal ) the balance showed to be $22 or 20 after that . I dont remember and so I gave them my card and came back being charged $ 61 something . I was very surprised as that amount was not on my bill. I asked the waiter and he said it was bc that was not the corrected bill without the reward and the dessert my son ordered .My issue is not me being charged for what I ordered , it was the raw fish and then on top of that the surprise in the charge without my knowledge prior to them charging my card for an amount other than what I was shown.If I had been given the correct receipt to begin with this negative experience would never had happen.By that point I was just upset and whether it was the raw fish I ate or just the idea of it I felt nauseous and we just went home instead of continuing our afternoon as planned in the park .

Great experience. I enjoyed the food and the very soothing experience of being surrounded by the aquarium. Super cool species of fish, big and small, swimming peacefully made the evening even better.

Only came here because it was part of the city pass. To be honest it’s not really worth the visit. The parking is $8 and my family and I only stayed for 40 mins max. It’s interesting to see some fishes but when it compares to Ripleys Aquarium in Toronto this is really really small. Rides cost extra. Highlight was the white tiger which was weird to see at an aquarium.

Its pricey, but as long as you know that going in and plan accordingly its a fun experience. The decor, tank, and lighting make for a relaxing atmosphere and I have had good wait staff at this location as well as the sister restaurant in Nashville, TN. Sometimes you will get to watch their scuba diver in the tank while you dine! Interesting species to observe. I recommend the seafood ravioli and their mozzarella sticks. I was not fan of how the crab cakes were seasoned but they werent terrible. Definitely take the little ones for a special occasion! Every child I have seen there thinks its the most magical place and their faces light up.

Despite the 20 minute wait, our experience dining at the Downtown Aquarium was very pleasant and enjoyable. Our waitress was very attentive and quick with her service. I ordered a Moscow mule for my beverage and it wasn’t anything worth noting. Very watered down for an alcoholic drink. The food, however, was very tasty and they were served in large portions.

This is a great place to bring the family. Next time I come back I am going to bring my granddaughters.

It was nothing like website portrayed. You dont get to sit right in the middle of the Aquarium like the pictures on website shows.. Way over priced food..Very very disappointed.

I showed up at 624 Pm which is what the app recommended. I was promptly seated in one of the best seats in the house. Overlooking the marina, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. And I was able to watch several sea lions frolic on the piers. The view was Amazing at sunset, I couldnt have been seated in a better location.Aquarium Restaurant

Ummmm, we were done in less than hour. It is extremely small and you to pay for every attraction which were also small. If you have a little one, 1 and under, its fine. 2 and up is $10 for 10 min. Just not worth it. They are planning on extending and might come back after completion.

We didn’t like the bar foods or drinks that much, specially the shrimp taco, it was disappointing.

There was excellent customer service and fresh food. I ordered the shrimp and scallop ceviche as an appetizer and the crab avocado salad. I was so pleased! I sat by the beautiful tank and enjoyed the view.

The food was okay, we were charged for glasses that we didnt want. When we asked about them, our server said we still get charged for them anyway and to keep them. But the menu says the drinks are 10 and if you want to keep the glass its 13.50. so I wasnt happy because we didnt ask for that glass and then she lied tonus about it. So we wont come back because of that. And this was a stop on our family vacation.

They have the best lava cake Ive ever tried, aquariums look great too with excellent service. Food was okay (not great). Great service

Great food and atmosphere!!! The prices on everything are high, but the service is great!!! If you want to look at the stingrays and spend more than a few dollars you need to get the all day pass. The all day pass is about $25 per adult. It allows you to ride all the rides you want!!! Im not sure if it includes exhibits on that pass too. Its like a mini fair with a unique aquarium restaurant with the building designed to look like coral with sea like decor. Go to any of their 4 locations if you ever get the chance!!!
