Honestly one of the greatest place to host a Birthday party, hangout, nor meet up. The staff are very friendly, outgoing and respectful and also funny too. I had so much with driving those karts racing, playing like mini shooting game etc. Since the place is always dark with glowing light its excellent to take pics. (Capture on Google Pixel 3a)

Glowzone is a new place to enjoy a great summer outing and birthday parties with your family. With the indoor put-put golf, jungle gyms, go Karts and other great games. For the adults they also have a small bar that serves food and refreahments near the go Karts which the adults can rest. Any child will really enjoy themselves to the point they dont want to leave.

Had a walk in party for my daughter at BALAXI and we had so much fun! All the staff was super helpful and polite with us. We had around 14 guests riding go karts at one time and staff never felt overwhelmed. Thank you so much for that its not easy dealing with so many children at once! I want to specially thank staff member (Howard) and the cook (Sonia) for all their attention towards us you made us feel extra welcomed and catered our needs in a very positive and well manered way. My daughter and her friends had a blast and I will be sure to recommend you to all the parents!

This place is pretty fun and different in a good way. Theres a good variety of activities. The wall climbing section is one of the best Ive seen for kids. Its a bit pricey, but reasonable for what you get. The staff was great, especially for this kind of place and this neighborhood. Minus one star only because a) the price b) some areas disorganized and understaffed.P.S. The party areas looked very inviting. Probably a great place for a kids party if money is no object.

I will never go back to this place... total disaster. My family was invited to a birthday party at this location on Saturday Feb, 2nd around 5 pm. Well there was no separate check in for party’s so we wasted so much time in a line just to be walked right in once we got to the front. Second, none of the arcade games worked. Every game we swiped said off network or just simply flashes red. There was so much confusion at the bar, and to top it of the worker over the go cart this was a completely rude to the kids. This place was a disaster all the way around. Will never go back...

The kids had a good time... I dont know if it was because we were there early (11am) that they didnt have any food but pizza for the party...but still kitchens should always be stocked and ready for a crowd...they didnt have bottle water just tap water...so all and all Ill give it at 3 stars

Great Place!! Staff is very friendly and inviting especially PV the manager. He made sure that the party went smoothly and that everyone was pleased. There were many attractions such as Go-karts, zip lining, and rock wall climbing to name a few. My kids had a blast and we will definitely be back!

I was a little hesitant after reading some of these reviews but I will say my experience was AMAZING! We were able to have our kids birthday with great staff and great food! I would go again and recommend to everyone looking for a new place to go! They are currently undergoing rebranding so you have to be mindful of that process, which didn’t bother us one bit! All in all, GREAT PLACE!

Kiddo had a blast. Seems smaller than location in Katy and employees did not scan card at attractions (what is the point of paying for unlimited time on attractions if employees dont verify if you even have time remaining on card? Could have paid for 1 hour attraction time and saved money). Also, family bathrooms do not have changing tables, have to go to womens bathroom.

We had a pretty okay time and gave the kids something to do, however this place, IS NOT AS ADVERTISED!!! We were looking forward to the whole glow experience shown in pictures on the website. The excuse is they were trying to distinguish themselves from Glowzone so all of the attractions are with lights on, well the website shows different. Also half the attractions werent open at all. They say they were under construction, to me just looks, under.

We decided to come here for my Daughters 14th birthday because it was glow in the dark. And when we got there this morning at 11 we were told that they had just opened as well as them not know that they had 25 dollar unlimited play. After the debacle at the front desk we noticed that the lights were on at which point we were informed that it was no longer glow in the dark. The website still advertises glow play(truth in advertisement I think not). Once we got in and the kids started to have fun and of course they got thirsty. We were then told that the ice and soda machine were not working there was some kind of compressor leak so they had to cut off the co2 lines and that they were only serving food or bottle beer. Then we asked one of the workers if we could do the roller coaster to which we were told it was broken. Then we went to go do the rock walls and the interactive one was broken. Back to the soda situation they had gone and purchased a few two liters and did not offer as an option for. I GUESS THE EMPLOYEES HAVING DRINKS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN PAY CUSTOMERS.Not sure we will ever visit this place againJennifer Tucker

Not worth my money! Kept having to look for associates to assist me and my family and half of them didnt even know what they where doing. Got there early so it wouldnt be so crowded and we were not able to use the go-carts, the guns for the Bazooka Balls were not working, no associate at any station, RIDICULOUS! Honestly I have never been so disappointed by a place before. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Could have been so much more fun if they had more staff working. There were so many unmanned attractions. Also a lot of the games didn’t work. The staff weren’t checking tickets so there were people who didn’t pay for unlimited that were clogging up lines for people who actually did pay for unlimited. The staff was friendly though.

Very small place which isnt a bad thing and the arcade area have quite a bit of games. However, new management is most definitely needed at this establishment. First of all, finding a worker to use some of the activities such as the bazooka ball is quite hard because theyre not at the location unless you tell them that you want to use that activity. Secondly, they dont scan the cards so it doesnt make sense to pay for the unlimited package. Thirdly, I witnessed the employee for the rope course sitting on a sofa playing with a baby while talking to another lady sitting there while kids were on the course and even as a few of them came down the steps she didnt get up to take the harness off. Additionally, the employees were playing the golf attraction instead of looking at the kids playing to see if their assistance is needed. No are in that establishment is supervised not even the soft something area which states its designed for kids 7 and under. When we were leaving around 7 the front counter was empty. The climbing activities area also doesnt appear as sturdy as the ones at Urban Air. The arcade games are also very expensive 15 credits for one game.Not worth the money Dave and Busters and Urban Air is more worth it. But, theres one employee who is African American and he was awesome.

I was looking forward to taking my family including a 3yr and a friends family to GlowZone for my sons 13th birthday. Its something we have not done before and the concept seemed really cool.The GoodThe concept is in fact really cool, I mean what’s not to like about bright glowing attractions. The attraction are fun and I was really impressed with the Skyscraper Ropes Course w/Zipline. The price point to get in was a good value.The BadWhile all the attractions are fun. The main attraction, the GlowKarts had a massive line the entire time. When you have 50 people in line and only running 4 cars you have two choices, wait in line for over an hour plus, or try to do something else, unfortunately for my family, no one wanted to wait the exceedingly long wait period, so no one participated in the GlowKarts the entire night.Every attraction has excessive lines. I get it in a fun environment. The problem was that none of the staff seem trained on how to manage their attraction and move people along. The majority seemed more interested in walking around talking to other staff members. Some interaction with guest would have been appreciated.The food while not bad, was way overpriced. This is not an Astro’s or Texans game, but be prepared to spend $6 a hot dog and $15 a pizza not quit as good as Little Caesar’s. This is not a huge grip but spending over $150 in food compounded an already frustrating experience.It was HOT inside, yes, its July, but the average temp inside was fluctuating from 79 and 81. This is the old Academy building, I know they have the cooling power.Lack of seating, you constantly had to guard your chair, if you even blinked it would disappear.Mens room was absolutely disgusting, someone had exploded in one of the stalls, seen a staff member walk in and do an abrupt U-turn never to return.SummaryThis place has potential! While the concept is very appealing, and everyone knows we need indoor things like this to do in Houston specially during the summer, I cannot say this would be on the top of my list of items to do again.My advice to management, TRAIN the staff to engage guests, TRAIN staff to manage their lines. Do some research on how some other indoor gokarts do it (not naming them) and make it fun for guest and $$$ will continue to flow from our pockets.This is from a parent that just dropped down almost $500 for my kids and guest to be miserable waiting in lines 60% of the time, never got a chance on the GlowKarts and to eat subpar food. Get it together guys.

Its a nice place for kids. My only problem was not enough floor staff to accommodate the amount of guest. The food and prices are decent. They offer adult beverages which is a plus.

One of the best kept secrets in Houston. I took my kids to a birthday party and we ended up staying waaayyy past the end of the event. We stayed until closing time. There was so much to do. It was definitely worth the price we paid. Ive never been to a place like this. Its close to home so we will definitely be back!

Under staffed on a Saturday.. its a fun place but does get really full. Couldve had better service. Arcade games could be better and food taste cheap.

Our 2 grand kids had alot of fun! We will be back. Their site said they were permanently closed but I called ahead and a nice young lady explained that they never shut down and went over the new pricing which is well worth it.

My mom recently took my sibling and I to this “glow zone” place and it was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. We spent over $80 just to see nothing is working properly. When My mother brought it to the manger attention he was very nonchalant and had horrible costumer service. All she asked for was half of her money back due to the fact half the attractions had no one there or were out of order. You could literally walk in and buy one card for everyone to use and they would never know. I didn’t swipe my card once. My brother was able to do everything I did even with him being under 48 inches. There about 20 people in there on Saturday evening. Even the workers said they are never busy and the place sucks.

The kids had a good time here. A lot of the play stations were not open so i paid for alot more than what we got. Thats the reason for 3 stars.

The go karts and other games are awesome. My wife threw me a surprise birthday party and so many video games and screens in the party room was cool. The party planner was great. The only unfortunate part was the service for the floor games no attendants to help fix the video games.

Tons of fun. We went as a group of adults and had a blast. It was well worth the $35 for over two hours (thats a full day pass, we could have stayed for 12+ hours).We went on a non peak night. I bet this place gets crazy busy on Saturday afternoons.

I paid for all attractions for my family and I to enjoy and for what? Most things were out of order, closed, over crowded with kids running around the mini golf courses, and not to mention, it’s not glow in the dark anymore. It looks nothing like the pictures online. This place is so unorganized and no supervision what’s so ever. Just a waste of money. Don’t recommend at all.

The place could be better if they organize it more and clean it better. I hope it will improve in the future.

Super fun time for my activeteens who want to burn some energy on the weekends. They have a zip line and climbing walls, and the mini golf, Go-carts and VR games are a big hit. Priced affordably, they can stay and play all day and I can get some good work time in on the free wifi. They offer a variety of food choices and restrooms are super clean. I highly recommend this place, especially on a bad weather day...they can still get some activity in!

$50 well spent! My grandson and his friend had so much to do. We planned to stay for an hour or so, ended up staying for 4 hours.

Our party host Morgan was real friendly and made us feel welcome. We had a good party experience thanks to her. Some employees could work on their attitudes and how they speak to people. Overall we enjoyed ourselfs and had fun.

This place sounded like it had it all, so my husband and I decided to take our younger cousin there on Memorial Day to give the grandparents a reprieve. We were thoroughly disappointed. First off they told me I needed to have closed toed shoes, so I went across the street and bought some different shoes, but we saw several people walking around in sandals. The bar was out of a lot of the beer selections. The arcade area had several broken games. There werent enough staff available to staff all the areas so we couldnt rock climb. Their computer system went down and they couldnt refund us tokens that were used for the finger coaster game that was, surprise surprise, broken. Overall a very disappointing experience. We paid for all day play, but didnt get to even play on everything. Will be going elsewhere for mini golf, go karting, etc.

The staff at the snack bar were GREAT! Especially the cashier that was working the front counter and the dining area.. She is a FANTASTIC employee and we will return because of her service. Although I feel the admission prices are a bit steep, and the price of the food as well, she made the experience enjoyable! I hope you know what a gem you have in her!

I took my brother and his friends to this location on a Thursday afternoon which meant the lines were minimal. We stayed for a total of 5 hours. The place was not as big as predicted but we still had lots of fun with a chance to try out all the attractions and some multiple times. Some of the attractions were not attended, but the staff got on that pretty quickly. However, after much movement, the place grew pretty warm but the water at the concessions was free so thats an added bonus. Overall, very nice place to just hang out for all ages and I would come back.

This place is a parent and kids dream. Your children can enjoy hours of fun while you take a break in a massage chair. Food is good and everyone leaves happy.

I give this place Overall a 4/5 only because of 1 employee . A manager that goes by the name of trey he was funny , he has great customer service & is a over achiever and is the epitome of that GlowZone . I had several problems like I couldn’t get a card to play games but he made sure we got our moneys worth . He followed us to the laser room , the gun room , karts and even helped to put our safety wear on the climbing . He told me not to put the other manager on blast so I won’t do that but he has the worst attitude at that facility . I don’t know who he bamboozled to get that position but he has the nastiest attitude and even knocked over a computer . I would Definitely come again but I would love to speak to the General manager , District manager or Owner .

My son had his 7th birthday here yesterday, one word AMAZING! From the time we checked in our party hostess (skylar) was right there helping. She definitely went above and beyond her job to make sure my sons party ran smoothly. Everyone had so much fun in the ballcity room even the adults. The indoor gokarts and the wall climb pure fun. We will definitely book again!

This place is amazing. Went for the first time last week and I have to say I will definitely be coming back. I have told everyone about this place. So glad I decided to come. The staff of young people were very polite and respectful. I havent had this much fun in years. I suggest everyone get the all day pass its worth it. Theres something for everyone to do and an hour is not enough time. Keep up the good work. And shout out to the staff that was there when I visited on the 8th.

Came here last month for a surprise party for my wife. We used the PIT Stop room, which is the room next to the Go Cart track. Was awesome!Most importantly, KAREN is awesome! She took care of our party with so much detail and care. We had about 40 people ranging from 11 months to 70 years old and they ALL had a blast. Highly recommend Glow Zone for parties.. ASK FOR KAREN -- she will take care of you!!

As exciting this place sounds, we gave it a try for my brothers birthday. We weren’t there long before we decided to order food and drinks. While waiting to order, an employee (tall guy) at the food counter did NOT want to take our order. His demeanor was so rude which forced us to leave the place with our refund. Not a fun experience.

Kids had a great time. It was slow so the kids really had freedom to do whatever without much waiting. Staff was very pleasant.

Went with the Hubby as a spontaneous fun date night and to first check it out for our little one. It was a Saturday night about 9pm and it wasnt too crowded. Were in our late 30s and everything we did was pretty fun. First tried the ropes course, then the go carts, ninja obstacle, laser maze, bazooka, rock wall and go carts once more. The go carts track may seem small but they go really fast and ride for a good amount of time. The steering may be difficult to maneuver for younger children for the turns and its no fun when wrecking or when the group of racers has to stop for safety reasons. I would say it is best for ages 10 and up even though as young as 7 probably are allowed. The only suggestion I would give is the music being played. It seemed a lot of rap and profanity type of music while we were there, non friendly. I would give it 0 stars for that. There should be a variety pop, dance, oldies, upbeat country even, Latin!

We got here and tried paying they said we could not go in with open toed shoes I went to my car and as I was waiting to pull out I saw a family that only had sandals and flip flops on walk out from the play area. This place is over priced and not fun for the whole family maybe if your a toddler itd be a fun place to go for the kids but this is definitely not for the whole family take your kids to ITS or Dave and Busters youll have more fun and get a better experience as well

Pizza was good, they need more tables and chairs, to sit down if you dont reserve a room. They need to clean the tables faster, so other people can sit and watch their kids playing. Other than that they were very friendly.

I brought my sons in this evening and they had a great time. I have to say Thank you to the yound lady who was working the amusement that they enjoyed the most. Her name was Aaliyah she was so polite and excellent to all those children and calm the whole time.

We just went for spring break, it was $25 for the whole day with a 150 points on a card. Lots of fun and the food wasnt too expensive. The margaritas are the bomb!

My kids had so much fun. They felt like if they were in a videogame. Its a good place to expend family time. Its a good place to encourage kids not to be afraid to adventures. Just a little bit pricey for a family of more than 4 on weekends

Not enough staff to main the attractions....40 dollars without points to play the arcade games is kind of expensive per child...go kart personnel was not keeping to appointment times...play area was not entertaining ....certain attractions were closed.

Go karts are essentially broken, and the staff does not care. 3 races in a row with a car that shut off multiple times when others kept going, and the inattentive operators never notice the issue. Awful music thats much too loud, and half of the attractions dont work. The mini golf is just sad, really sad. Just go to Dave & Busters, or Track 21 or K1 speed. This place wouldnt be worthwhile if it was free. Unfortunately its $40 per person, not including any games. I wont be back.

Overpriced and undermanned. They have a lot of neat rides but not enough employees to let you on them, you have to wait until an employee is done attending to other customers on another ride way across the building. It seems for the price I paid (including the 12 ounce lemonade in a styrofoam cup for $3.25) you would think they could get more work.

My family and I will not be returning. It was not what I expected. I was disappointed. 2 hour wait for go karts. Miniature golf was not organized. Restrooms nasty. Bar area dirty. Not enough sitting. Games over priced. Not enough staff. Broken games.

Will not be returning. The bazooka ball game was broke, the laser quest had issues along with the virtual coaster. 10 minutes to order food and when I finally got a server, he couldnt find find the time to put his phone down. I spoke with the young lady up front and she was no help. No possible credit or apology for a waste of time and money. What a disappointment.
