Educational, exhilarating, and exciting family fun!Beautifully organized Everglades National Park visitor center with a plethora of educational materials, maps, activities and animal models! The Rangers are friendly and super helpful. This is another great spot to obtain a badge for the junior ranger program for your youngsters. Just help them complete a booklet of activities which are fun and educational, and return to the Ranger to obtain your badge. This is an exceptional national Park visitor Center!

The Everglades are a spectacular place to visit. Unfortunately due to Covid, the visitors center was closed. Unlike the other national parks in South Florida, not even the park store was open. Big bummer. Oh well.

We visited Ernest F Coe and yet to visit other places in the park. Its very interesting to see all the alligators and birds. A very good place to walk around if you have kids and relax. In my opinion, its very small compared to other state parks in other states we have been to. I guess our expectations were higher when we saw online as wild life sanctuary. Other than this, the rangers and staff in visitor center are very friendly and will suggest you whats best to do given your time. I would recommend this place if you are staying in Miami for more than three days.

Very nice area to walk ad see wildlife including crocodiles. Visitor center has a theater with an 18 minute film worth watching. Gift shop is small. Staff are all very informative. Parking is easy and its the first stop entering the park prior to the fees entrance. Went all the way to Flamingo at the end of the 28 miles....nice drive traffic flows easily. Lots to stop and see at each posted sign. Lots of kayaks on the waters and overall a VERY INTERESTING place!

THIS IS THE ONLY PLACEwhere alligators and crocodiles cohabit. The EVERGLADES is a national park that is fun to visit.BTW they boast 28 different kinds of serpents and emphasize that a recently found python, the size of a boat, is not an endemic species and disrupts the natural balance of the region. A python this size can even eat a...crocodile!

The Everglades is the place to go to if you want to alligators, fish, and birds! The visitors center is very informative, and the rangers were very helpful. This is a different type of National Park, but beautiful in its own regard. I highly recommend that you stop at the Everglades, if you are in southern FL.

Very well designed visitor center. They have a beautiful porch on the back with some rocking chairs that was very relaxing. I could have sat out there all evening. The park ranger working was a very nice young lady that offered us very helpful information. They have a few displays that I would recommend reading for additional information about the park. This is a huge park, with lots to do. If you really want to do it all, plan on staying a few days.

This is one of the eastern entry points to the Everglades National Park if you are coming via highway 9336. All the relevant information regarding the park is available here. You can get a map of the entire area and can plan out your trip with the help of the wonderful staff. There is a restroom here. Also, remember that there is no gas stations after this point, so remember to refuel before this place in case you are low in fuel.

Many parking places and very clean outside. You walk through a way to get to the building of the visiting center. To get to the building you pass a pond where there is a perhaps unique sign which tells you not to get any closer to the water as there are alligators, snakes and other wildlife. However before you enter the visitor center you can have a full view of the pound (with sitting possibilities) and might hope to get a glimpse of a gator. The facilities inside the visiting center are a bit old, they would need some modernization but the information is nice and the staff is incredible friendly and helpful.

I came here with a friend when we were visiting Miami. It was a nice experience and it was interesting seeing the alligators and learning more about them.I can see how some people would find it a little boring if the alligators dont come out to play but you cannot blame them if they do not. They do try and tempt them out with treats but we only saw a few gators. One gator did come right up to the boat and them proceeded to follow us so we had to make a quick get away.It was a short experience but nonetheless I am glad that I done it.

One of my favorite places to visit. I have been here many times as a youth and as an adult. My brother used to work at this park and there is so much to see. Alligators are a very exciting thing to see here. Dont get too close but enjoy them. Occasionally youll see a American crocodile which is another one of my favorites. Lots of fish, insects, and birds to see. Many invasive species that the biologists work very hard to apprehend. This includes those pesky pythons, occasionally the park will have roundups. This is a good place to visit and pick up what you left behind!
