The park itself and people of the community are amazing! Very well maintained, always having events for students out of school and other holidays.. However the owners of the park Krystal and Chino were very rude and snobby ignorant individuals!! Always giving people a hard time, always fining people for the smallest things, they threatened to evict us while I was pregnant before the holidays because of a past record of mine from over 10 years ago. I went above them and spoke to someone above them and I was ok to stay!! After hurricane Irma we needed help cutting down a felony tree that was nearly falling over our trailer, we asked chino if he can help us and wed pay him even tho we dont have to, he said yes and never came.. I can keep going and going, we finally got fed up with them and there poor behavior, so we left.. I would absolutely reccomend as long as those 2 dont run it any longer.

More of a mobile home park. RVs are an afterthought. Our lot was between two permanent mobile homes, one with large family. Quite a walk to restrooms. Entry had code keypad that required exit from RV. RV & toad sticking out in busy street entire time. Not bad overall, but definitely not RV atmosphere.

This place is not secured with a gate. It was broken the whole 10 days we stayed there in an RV site. Also, they do not keep their word on site assignment. Despite making a one year advance reservation we were given the crummy root infested site #8, (that we refused once we saw it) instead of the appropriate site we were told we could have to accommodate our 40 foot motorhome. We ended up in an overflow site that had to be vacated before our two week stay was finished. We left 3 days early instead of moving and playing musical chairs and in doing so we did not receive a proper and fair refund amount because they revised our stay in their system so that we were charged the daily fee for the second week instead of the lower weekly fee we paid upon arrival. Not a good way to do business. The bathhouse is old and small and the RV sites are extremely close together. The washers and dryers use only a special card that must be obtained from the office. This is not told to guests. They were out of cards when I asked for one. A very unsatisfactorystay.

Some older Mobil homes in this gated park, mostly well kept. Mostly quiet with the occasional loud car stereo drive-by. Speed limit had to be slow due to speed bumps There are a few children and a small play park for them. RV parking sites are nice and most are on grass with concrete pads. Some streets are tight for large RVs.

Had the pleasure of staying here for unfortunately 5 nights, the pool was ok, if your french Canadian it might be good. If you need a place for ONE night it would be alright. Our site was beside a busy road that came with a barking dog, maybe 12 hours a day. Trailers on either side were pretty rough (see pictures).

The word resort is used in the name of this RV park in the Passport America guide, but this is clearly a mobile home park with a section for RVs: most of them are permanently on site, as their tires are rotted and theyre being stabilized by cinder blocks or skirting is used to make it look like they are on a foundation. With that said, the grounds are well-maintained, despite many residents having a lot of junk outside their trailers. Important note: they say they have a pool, gym, and showers, but after I checked in and went to pool area, a key is required to get into the pool and the fitness room, which they dont give to RVers staying just a few days. The bathroom and showers require a door code -- also not given to me (I checked my paperwork for it). This is really set up as a place for long-term residents, with short RV stays used as a way to make extra money to fill-in un-used sites. With the Passport America discount, it was $31 a night, which is supposed to be a 50% discount. I would NEVER pay $60 a night to stay here. The sites are full-hookups with water, electric, and sewer. Some shopping is nearby; within a mile is a Walmart, Aldi grocery, and various fast-food chains. The staff was friendly and professional who checked me in. I would still stay here, as its a good stopping point going to and fromromm The Keys.

Quick overnight the day after Thanksgiving. Although the office was closed, we were able to get in and find a site.We did want to take advantage of the laundry room, but were unable to because the machines use office issued cards. A friendly resident offered us the use of a card but the funding machine at the office was out of order.Overall, it was a comfortable stay and the residents we met were very friendly. The office staff was helpful over the phone. The garbage collection at each site in the morning was a nice touch. All the hook ups worked well.

The park grounds were beautiful, flowers everywhere. The pool was clean and a great temperature even on chilly days. The permanent residents were friendly and offered fruit from their trees. The staff were professional and friendly. HOWEVER, there is a large group of seasonal guests who were rude and unfriendly. They refused to speak English, even to make eye contact or say hello. It soured the entire experience. We were booked for a month (paid in advance) and would have left after the first three days.

Guys, this is the best place Ive stayed since Ive owned an RV. The management team is top notch, the grounds are kept nice and the Boardwalk maintains itself with repeat customers. Im ending my second season and I keep seeing the same fun groups of Canadians come and go each year. I know because I watch two lots for them. They do volleyball, shuffleboard and have a great clubhouse and pool. The one good thing that keeps it nice is that they have rules. I love living here and most people here are more like family and they really welcome you in. Whether youre passing by or staying in the area for awhile...you owe it to yourself to stay here. And if you happen to stay near me...youll know it because Ill offer you a beer and a handshake.

DONT STAY HERE!!! The manager is the worst. She became the manager about 2 years ago. This use to be a very nice park until Crystal became the BOSS. Now the tenants walk around in fear. Because she will fine you, Tow you, harass you and evict you with no warning. All the tenants cant stand the sight of Crooked Crystal...I could go on and on with with the review about all the underhanded things that happens here but it would turn into a 300 page book. Even the Canadian leave and dont come back. FOR SALE signs are all over this place. She changes good peoples lives with a stroke of her pen. What this place needs is a tenants association and a RENT STRIKE.......DONT STAY at the Boardwalk...

I am a current resident, thankfully moving out in a few days. The owner Crystal and her husband are the up most rude and most annoying people youll ever meet. They put up a good front so be aware.. The rent is due on the 1st the latest is the 5th, there has been times when we had till the middle of the month to pay it along with the late fee, other times there quick to try and evict you after the 5th day. There is no actual security. The gates work when they want. One car that opens the gate can allow multiple cars to enter as well. These people will fine you for absolutely anything.. They tried evicting me numerous times when I was pregnant. Visitors wont know as much because they dont stay long enough to find out for themselves.. I would highly suggest (GOLD COASTER OR GOLDEN ESTATES)!! Crystal, you need better management skills. You need to learn to treat everyone the same. And you need to understand that some kids like mine (look normal) but have certain disorders. Like I mentioned to you before.

The young man who cleared all the braches was VERY nice. There are no dumpster for RVers, we kept putting our trash and doggie pop bags in the mobile home trash cans along our street. Showers in bath house very small with no circulation. Many many, too many cats. Best thing was the baby ducks and mom duck near our site. Gated which was nice. If you are looking to score some drugs or live like typical trailer trash, this is the place for you! Though it used to be beautiful and quite Canadian during the season which kept the standards up, it has gone downhill FAST. Property values have plummeted and it is not safe to walk around at night. No screening of tenants and they have run everyone worth keeping out. I had 3 properties in The Boardwalk over the last 5 years and have gotten rid of every one of them at a loss due to the scum they have allowed to move in. Check the Homestead police dept blotter and the rap sheets of residents, then RUN....

We arrived late and the site we were booked in was a little too tight for our rv do to the vehicles parked in the surrounding areas and a out building in the neighboring site would not allow for our slide to go out so Claudia let us look around the grounds for something we felt comfortable with for our rv. After several phone calls and a visit from another employee with a long beard, we were settled. The grounds are kept clean and the employees are friendly. The only concern is the tight corners if you have a long rig. We would put five but weven had an incident with the power being shut off to our site while we were away and our dogs were inside. They were apologetic due to the circumstances but we would most likely stay there again.

We made reservations at this part because of the Web site. However, the Web site and reality are two very different things. This is NOT an RV friendly park. This is a trailer part with single and double wides and also park homes. I was given a space next to a park model that was a disgrace. The space was way to small for a 41 coach and we would not have any room to put our slides out. Next door they had tires, baraques, tables, a refrigerator, and all sorts of crap sitting in front of the trailer. We asked for our deposit back and we were charged $10.00, but did receive the balance. We looked at the sister park in Ft Lauderdale and it was exactly the same. A junk yard park.

Ga
Review №77

When first arriving the RV Resort you will see it isnt exactly an RV Resort. It is full of full time residents and a lot of park models. The RV sites (82 & 83) are in the back near a busy road that is busy all night. Couple that with people driving through most of the night with extremely loud, thumping, Latin music blaring from there vehicle or a gang of 10 year olds running wild all over the place and you pretty much sum up Trailer Trashville. If you have a lot of experience backing in an RV of any respectable size (30 +) you are going to struggle to get in any of these sites due to the residents parking their vehicles alongside the street or putting the boat for sale right across from the site you are trying to back in. If you dont have 30+ years of experience backing through the eye of a needle you are either destined to tear something up, leave in frustration or possibly both. If you finally get parked after racking through the forward and reverse gears a couple of dozen times and jockeying around a couple of overgrown plants, shrubs and trees that create an obstacle course of epic proportion youre in for a real treat with the utilities in these sites. First and foremost walk around in the back and find the power distribution panel. On the back side you will see some meters and under each meter is a breaker. Nope, no breakers at the site. But be diligent so you dont cause any damage to your equipment and make sure you kill the breaker before you plug in. Oh, and if you are in site 83 beware that the power receptacle is about to fall apart and is wired into the housing upside down. Makes getting plugged in interesting especially if you use a surge protector. Since these are grass sites you are going to need some really sturdy Jack Pads if you actually want to get level. The ground is pretty soft in this area even when it isnt raining. This is basically a pretty bad place to spend even one night. Spend an extra hour on the road and go to Key Largo or Naples.
