This is a magical place. Heres the deal.I 2006 the citizens of Hillsboro passed a bond to build RBP. This was an act of pure love. They put rocks and black plastic on the banks of rock creek. They brought in thousands of native species and planted them. I think this my favorite place in the world.

Love this park. Really nice playground and a cool trail to get some walking in. My 3 year old loves it here. And there is a Portopotty for when we have to use the bathroom

This is a wonderful park. The whole park is extremely well maintained; the paths/trails are either asphalt or bark chips. It was very pleasant to walk amongst the trees on an 85 degree day.The canoe/kayak launch was a popular spot although I didnt partake. I saw mostly people walking alone, in small groups, a few with strollers and/or with their dog. Everyone was masked or kept to the recommended 6 ft of physical distancing. The day I was there, I didnt see any bicyclists.I cant wait to go back.

Very well build, organized and maintained as for the natural beauty it gets 5 stars for a park that nestled in the middle of an urban area. It offers wide array of activities for all members of the families as well as different levels of skills and varieties.

This park is amazing. Awesome trails that are clean and well maintained. We had a great time and we look forward to going back. There is lots of space to walk you dogs if you have them. There is also plenty of space for a picnic or family gathering. There is a watercraft launch area in case you are in the mood to kayak a little. There is also a very nice play structure for the kids.

I enjoyed the complexity of the arrangements and the Simplicity of the layout of the grounds. They currently have removed the swings from the swing sets and some arbitrary attempt to display control over the populace! This is the Peoples Park yet there are people that support the closure of it under the guise of false popular sentiment..Wake up!

This park is always my go to for long nature walks as it contains many trails and areas to explore as well as a park and grilling area on one end of the property, theres also a few areas with learning sign a great walk for kids and dogs. Some trails arent paved so make sure to bring shoes you can get dirty. The trails are long but luckily they have many benches placed conveniently on the paths. Overall it is a large and well-kept park 10 out of 10 would recommend.

This is a really nice park. They have added a nice floating dock for putting in kayaks and canoes into the river. There is a new sign there as well with information on the almost 40 miles of river that can be paddled. Be advised that the river does have a lot of downed trees in it though. I paddled between Rood Bridge and Farmington, and was able the get through, but this is the end of June. Conditions may change.

A beautiful place to go walking with dogs, kids, running, walking, whatever! Theres lovely gardens, ponds and creeks, paved and gravel paths (its possible to walk only on paved). Wheelchair and stroller accessible. One or two gentle hills. Bring poop bags, theres only one or two spots to get them. Not many picnic tables right now, might change once covid is done with, but plenty of space to set down a blanket (iso friendly).

So I like the playgrounds and trails a ton. The only thing is they shut the bathrooms down(yes. The ones with running water and soap) and put up porta-pottys(and of course theres no hand sanitizer in them). With society being so crazy about the spread of covid you would think that this is backwards.

A huge scenic landscape with tons to offer. Hike trails, ride a bike, a multi-age playground with swings and closed-tube slides. There are also large shelters covering dozens of tables for picnics or rain, whichever come first. Its always a clean park, with a lake, wildlife and friendly neighbors. I have also noted this park is gated when closed, and I havent ever seen a tent set on the premises. I feel like I can trust my kids will be safe here. Kudos.

Could use some more parking. If a wedding is happening -- good luck finding a spot. Youll have to park somewhere in the neighborhood across the street and burn a few calories strolling over to the park. Less convenient, but where else can one stroll among old growth trees, eat your Jersey Mikes sammy on a bench under a ramada at the edge of a pond with aquatic life and mini waterfalls (one on either side!)?!. Its a hike for us to get here, but I love this park so I accept any kids birthday party invitation that is held here. Go -- walk the trails and figure out your life (hint: you are totally worth it!)

I havent been everywhere in the park. However, the places I have been have been well maintained and clean. Theres also boat launch that dumps you into the upper Tualatin River. During the spring and summer months, theres also a pontoon dock thats available at that location. Ive heard that theres some pretty significant water level increases during the rainy season, so thats probably why they remove it.

Other than the rotting garbage aroma from the nearby landfill on hot days, this place is fantastic! When my kids were little we would come here and play on the playgrounds and walk the trails and geocache. This last day I was by myself checking out the paddle dock at the river. Its a very nice set of facilities at this large suburban park but is better enjoyed on cooler days, IMO.
