My kids and I were adventuring and saw signs for this little park. As soon as my kids saw the slide and merry go round they screamed in excitement. We had so much fun! We just wish it didnt get cold so fast!

This park offers many amenities such as a covered shelter area, kids playground, basketball court, and some wide open space for dogs and kids alike. Well kept restrooms, many trash receptacles, lots of benches, and a few self serve pet waste bag stations. Some of the play equipment is showing signs of aging and the landscape is not as well maintained as other Washington County parks.

There is no parking lot. Neighborhood street parking only on select streets

This playground has some of the classic toys I grew up with (the big metal slide and fast merry-go-round are awesome!), big trees, and convenient restrooms/picnic area. I especially love it on parade days as there is ample parking a couple of blocks away and things for my kids to do while they wait.

Nice neighborhood park with fenced playground, clean bathrooms, clean and safe equipment, and plenty of benches for parents and grandparents. No parking lot, but street parking is available and the park is small enough to walk across. Picnic gazebo and basketball courts for the older crowd.

Great, simple park that is well maintained. Covered area is great for parties. Only negative (for some) is that there is no parking lot; street parking only.

Centrally located, old school playground. The kids enjoy features not seen at many parks these days. Nice grassy area, pavilion, basketball black top, and short walk to Main St.

Close to home, usually clean. Needs lubrication on the play equipment, the seasaws, swings etc squeak.

Fun, good sized park. Its close enough to the school that my daughter always runs into her school friends. Great equipment, clean park and theres a grassy area to play tag, soccer, etc. Full sized basketball courts for the older kids, too.

There were teenagers playing offensive music and smoking weed. We left immediately. I give it two stars since weve been there before and they do have some neat equipment despite being so tiny.

We’ll set up park for toddlers and young kids. Its well maintained. It also has a covered picnic area and plenty of open grass area.

This is a beautiful little park! Well maintained, like all parks in the City of Hillsboro. If the basketball courts were covered, I would definitely give it five stars. Regardless, its still a great place to go.

Nice park for small kids. The playground is just right for little ones. Not much challenge for big kids, but the basketball court is nice.

So fun! There is so much to do! There is a spiny disk thingy that you can spin on and much more!

walk from my house to the park, accessible restrooms nice kids play area, limited seating, only 1 covered space. The neighbors really watch over the trafficking.

Love the atmosphere just wish the people around me were a little bit more friendlier but other than that they have really nice bathrooms and great place for the kids to hang out and parents to read or write or anything like that

Park well maintained clean good variety of play structures for children unfortunately the restrooms were closed due to vandalism

It is a super normal park. It happens to be around so roads that make it noisy and it doesnt have trees of large bushes to absorb the noise. There is a play structure that can be entertaining for young kids but overall this park is more city than the town around it.

Grass is so green and they have a large covered picnic area and plenty of playground equipment and areas to just run around. Nice basketball court too. I didnt even see the whole park. Dogs are welcome and there are free waste bags to dispose of your pets waste. Its definitely designed as a neighborhood park as there is only street parking and it is in the middle of a large Hillsboro neighborhood. There is some traffic, but you wont even really notice it. Its a quiet neighborhood.

Really nice park to enjoy after the hillsboro 4th of July parade, has a basketball hoop and a merry go round, fun for all ages.

Cute park. Used to come here when I was just a little kid. The only problem is the parking there is no parking lot for this park so you have to depend on finding a spot in front of somebodys house which is no fun.

This is a quiet lovely park in the heart of Downtown Hillsboro. The gazebo hosts lots of family events, there is a basketball half court and a childrens play area that are all well maintained. The city redesigned this park with the neighborhoods needs in mind.

This was a fun park with nice bathrooms but the parking situation made it less than ideal. You have to park on the streets, having to park on the opposite side of the street and cross it to access the park. The playground is fun with a huge slide, but it was to big for my younger kids to go down by themselves so I found myself going down it 50 with my son. I was done before the kids were.

Play area is now fully fenced in, bathrooms are very nearby, but could definitely use some shade.

Cute little neighborhood park. There is a large field on the side closest 2nd Ave. It has a covered picnic area (may be reservable on the Hillsboro parks webite). However, I dont like the lighting. It could be safer at night with more lighting and visibility. In the interior of the park, behind the restrooms, are the play set and basketball court. I appreciate the parks design. This park has a pathway that separates these features with dog bag dispensers at both ends.
