Located on the campus. They have saved and honored history from Texas & Vietnam. Great displays, pictures & stories of those times. So important to remember our past & learn! Please Lord, let us never again chose the path of sacrificing hundreds of thousands of lives, there are wiser & better ways that We The People are capable of!! L
Great story about Texans in the military. Real heroes!
We visited one Fall afternoon. Everything we saw was quite interesting. The lady there was very polite and attentive. We liked the layout of interesting items and pictures. Gave us a sense of pride in our countrys history. Highly recommend this museum!
Great display of fellow Texans contributions to Texas and our country. I was amazed at some of the museums historical collections. Well worth a visit.
The museum itself is neat, but the attitude of the staff was enough to make us not want to return. We got there 15 minutes before closing, understanding that we needed to rush through, which we did. When we got back up to the front, we wanted to step into the last small room just for a quick glance, and maybe quickly purchase a souvenir after. That didnt happen. We were told to leave at 3.59. they close at 4pm . The lady was very rude and very short. She did tell us it was free to come back another day even though they have a big donation box next to the sign in sheet. We told her we were from out of town, she said well Im sorry you have to leave now. When we got back out side to the car the time was 4pm.
Its a great Museum to go to
The Texas heritage museum is a jewel. It provides information that is surprising in the quality and how much is given. These small Texas museums are always a joy to find and visit.
Great little museum. I learned a lot.
