Great park. Wonderful grassy area to enjoy on a sunny day. Wooden playground. I really like how large it is but it is getting worn down. Several spots a board is gone or weak so need to watch the littlest ones extra careful.

Its a Good Place To Get Some Shade In The Hot Days Of Summer, The Only Down Side Is That During The Summer Especially This One Its Pretty Crowded There Between The Baseball Games, Pool, Veteran Memorial Suite, Luscious Green Grass, Picnic Benches, The Walking Trail And The Ample Parking Availability. But Before 8 Am And After 6 Pm There Is More Then Enough Parking And Shade Available For Everyone. Just Be Sure To Be Out Of The Parks By 10 Pm Or You Will Earn A Permanent Interest you as A person and the vehicle you drive...It Comes in the Form Of A Cop. If He Catches You in his jurisdiction There After 10 Pm. Its over!

This is a nice park to take the family. Has a pretty good sized wood park with swings, a bunch of slides and tons of obstacles to climb over. Also inside the park is a huge stage and aquatic center with water slides and diving boards.

Just a lovely park with lots of mature trees to provide shade, a huge playground, and phenomenal amphitheater. Very well maintained and a great place to stop for a picnic.

The memorial to those who served is fantastic. The rest is a nice open space in mid-town. Nice pool; but waterslide closed due to Plague.

I really like visiting memorial park, especially in the summer when they have the band that plays. The only thing that I’m a little unsure of is when I take my children to the kids park and there are people sleeping inside of the slides.The park itself is a great spot for a fun family picnic or group get together, and the kids playground has one entrance and one main exit (unless you count jumping over the fence)

Its a really nice park, lots of places to sit around and talk with my friends. Theres a really nice playground for kids to hang out in, and the lawn is really well taken care of. Theres also a really nice stage, which Im sure is great for events. Wonderful park, I suggest you go there and have a picnic or something.

This is a large, beautiful, well kept park close to Carroll College. It has an impressive stage and amphitheater and a moving tribute to the First Special Service Forces (the Devil’s Brigade) who trained in Helena.

Fun and spacious park with lots of playground equipment and swimming pool and water slide. Great place for picnics as well. I used to bring my son here alot when he was little. Great memories with him here.

I grew up in Helena, this park has developed over the years and I like to stop and rest in the peacefulness.

The very open has swings and slides also has a memorial for veterans. Some picnic tables and plenty of trees

Always a great place to take kids! So much room and area to run! Never crazy dirty. Some trash happens because of the wind or occasional person missing something but thats ok. Definitely a place to come back to and enjoy making memories with your family.

First time to Visit seems to be a great place for concerts or maybe outdoor theater. I was there for the NamiWalk event, there was tons of booths, and live music. After the music we headed over to centennial park (I believe was the name) and walked a 5k

This is a great little park with so much to do. The playground is very cute, and the waterpark has so much to offer. The memorials are also very touching and well placed. This is a great place to gather for games, parties or just for play.

Wonderful park! A wooden play castle and tire swing for the kiddos and its huge! Also has a band shell thats rentable for events and a huge yard for whatever else anyone can think to do:) also has restrooms.

We play every weekend here, and also set our tent up and watch movies for a couple hours every sunday...nobody bothers us, its very comfortable.

I LOVE this park....my kids n my nieces n nephews absolutely love going here!! Its always clean! I would recommend to anyone to take there kids there if they wanna have fun!

It has a large yard for kids to play and a decent playground, but the equipment has been falling a part for years and could use a major facelift with new and better equipment for all ages.

Only used the HUGE playground today, but cant wait to come back for a concert or some pool time!

A nice park,a expertly painted band shell,State Capital Band plays on Thursday evenings in the summer,a great playground for children.

The play area for the kids was great. The downfall was the kids had to go and use the restrooms but they were locked. We had to leave and find a restroom they could use.

Wish the park was maintenanced more. The tire swing tire has wire poking out. All but 1 toddler swing are cracked and super weathered. One of the big slides is burnt and melted from the sun.

My favorite park in helena as it located right next to the public pool and has a stage and lots of seating area. Pokemon go players will find 2 gyms near the memorials and theres a third located at the memorial park sign. Always catch water pokeOn at this park thanks in full from.thd pool

They have one of the best playgrounds in town. Huge lawn to play around in. Lots of picnic tables. One of my favorite places to habe birthdays parties and go for picnics.

Great park but not enough adult supervision. We have had allot of trouble with bullying here. Ywca camp kids being extremely inappropriate to younger children and unsupervised pre teens picking on young kids. Its sad
