Nice spot to relax for a bit. Very clean and well maintained.

Nice peaceful park with walking track around lake. Lots of geese and mallard ducks. Also saw white domestic ducks, a beaver dam, a great egret and a big turtle basking. I think the geese are used to being fed as they approach people. Downside is that there is goose poop on the walking area, but while I was there a park worker was going around in a golf cart spraying the track clean. Kids will like this park and getting up close to waterfowl.

Really love taking the kids here. Fishing is decent. There are 3 total playgrounds (one near the cemetery at the entrance, one half way, and a large one near the tennis courts in the back. Explore all 3. We had a birthday party in one of the pavilions and the kids had an amazing time. Highly recommend. Lots of geese. Not sure if thats good or bad but we have never had a problem. Youll also see cranes and ducks!

The best playground in Helena for children 5-8. The track surrounding the pond is an easy walk/jog, but could benefit from shade.Some of the equipment is dated, the pond could use some trash removal, and driving to the playground is a circuitous route on a narrow, bumpy road.Best place in town to feed geese!

Joe Tucker Park is a great place to get exercise and just relax. I’m usually playing pickle ball on the excellent courts. They’ve done a great job accommodating both tennis and pickle ball players. It’s lighted at night too!

Joe Tucker Park is a public park in the city of Helena. It is located behind the Helena City Hall and Helena Public Library near the intersection of Helena Road and Shelby County Highway 52 (map). Tucker Road loops through the park.The park features the 7.5-acre Joe Tucker Park Lake, created in 1974 by damming Lee Brook. The lake is stocked with fish and encircled by a half-mile-long lighted, paved walking path. Catch-and-release fishing is allowed on Saturdays only. Picnic tables and pavilions are available, as well as two softball fields, three playgrounds, and four tennis courts. Other features include a historic cabin and an open-air chapel.The largest playground is a Boundless Playground, designed to be accessible for children regardless of disabilities, has been developed in phases as an ongoing civic project of the Kiwanis Club of Helena.Joe Tucker Park has been considered as a site for a possible skate park.

Very nice park with walking trail around lake

Love this park, it is huge! Plenty of different spots for slides and swings. The pond is nice, police and fire fighters are right up the road if you ever need help and there is a lot to do and see here. Be aware of Canadian Geese as they can be territorial and watch your children around them. Fishing here is nice as well, bring plenty of sunblock and water if youre here for a while. I think the town of Helena can plant some flowers in some spots and the park will really stand out. Will continue to come back to visit and spend a day.

This is a nice park with a lake, walking track, pavilions, two playgrounds, tennis courts, and baseball fields. Its a great place for families. We visit often.

Love this park. Lots of ways for my grandson to expend some energy. I liked that parents are present and that only age appropriate children were playing. Very well kept.

Great playground for my son who is almost 2 years old. The pond is fun for him to watch the Canadian Geese and ducks swim around in.

The lake had a lot of trash around it and didnt appear to be maintained on a regular basis. Playground for the kids was pretty small as well.

First time of being here. Its beautiful and I enjoyed it with my 5 grandchildren. Im here from WV. Love it here!

Fun park

This is a great park. For the most part the play equipment is really well kept and the park is clean. The walking trail is great too.

We go here at least twice a week to let the kids play, I love that the whole playground is the rubber ground to help keep the kids from getting injured. I wish that the pond was better stocked for fishing but otherwise no real complaints. They also have a handicap accessible playground.

Love this park. I take my kids all the time and there are always other kids for them to play with. The lake is beautiful. There are 2 playgrounds to choose from.

This is a wonderful park, with a lake, that was adopted as home by a couple of hundred Canadian geese.This is a well maintained park that offers;1) A lighted half-mile asphalt track, which encircles the park lake.2) Lighted tennis courts.3) A lighted baseball diamond.4) A covered pavilion for picnics, or any​ gatherings.5) Limited bankside fishing.6) And always, the opportunity to feed the adoptive geese, ducks, and cranes.

Lots of goose poop, but great park

Was not what I expected. Hornets swarmed throughout the pavilions and the park is literally adjacent to a cemetery....not that thats a major issue but driving up for the first time and seeing a park intermingled along side a cemetery could be unsettling to the unaware.

I love will be coming back. Its just a fun park and so much to do. Feed the ducks, take a jog. Let your babies tire themselves out on there awesome playground.

Love taking my baby to walk around the lake. Nothing like a day at the park! This is out our home park. Very safe and beautiful.

The park is a great place to go and enjoy a good walk. Its also a popular place to go and fish especially in the afternoon. Chances are there will always be geese walking around so heads up :)

Why does this keep popping up. I havent been to this park. Is it because I was at a friends house several blocks away? There needs to be a way to remove prompts for places I havent been.

It ok. nobody follow rules on track. The sewage smell is bad something. They should just lock doors on bathroom. There not clean come on Helena your better than that

Grew up playing baseball and playing in the playgrounds here. This one and penhale in my opinion arent well maintained like the sports complex but hold a special place in my heart
