This is a historic history display that commemorates the punishment of Black Beard.The marina is pleasant and the Surf Rider restaurant next door. I go there to spin the Pokemon Go stop associated with the display

I give it 4 stars because Im a huge Blackbeard fan, however theres nothing more than an informative sign briefly explaining Blackbeard and what happened around this area. As for scenery theres a marina/yacht club restaurant and a ton of privately owned boats. Unless youre bored and in the area, probably not a place youd want to visit.

I’m love local history and Blackbeard’s Point has a fascinating story! Well worth the trip.
