A park has been built along the Ready River. It is a good place to go anytime in the 4 seasons. Safe, beautiful, and neat. It is good to walk along the swamp Rabbit Trail in the morning or late afternoon. With children, it would be good to use playgrounds and picnic areas located in between. The road leads to the Greenville Zoo.
Many aspects of the park are under construction. Playground is closed, parking lots closed, personal exercise stations are closed either due to COVID-19 construction or both. Some picnic tables are open but few and far between.
The playground is closed right now Do not go It was a freaking nightmare
Covid friendly and social distancing perfectly implemented. great place to get a close views of animals. personally did not like the size of space available for the animals but we had a great time. my family really enjoyed themselves. We are at the concession; the food that was great. we enjoyed chicken pita, fruit bar and an icey
Just drove through. Changed a lot since I was last. Still a very fine park!
I love this place. Trails are open and for different levels for those who look for a bit of a challenge. When I went to use the sand volleyball court, half of the sand was out and it was impossible to use. Hope this gets fixed. You can find basketball and tennis courts.
Swamp Rabbit Trail at Cleveland Park a great place to walk for all ages
Great park but need better parking.
Great Park....hope they finish with the construction soon....Thanks Cleveland Park.
Great place to park for the Swamp Rabbit trail.
Great place to go for a walk. They have pathways in wooded area. Its mostly shaded. Even saw some pretty wild flowers growing. Definitely reccomend it if you are looking to get out and about for some fresh air and excercise!
We saw a woodchuck on the other side of the riverbank. What a treat!
Great walking trails. Very peaceful outing.
Wonderful Ceres of bike trails and other facilities.
One of the many great parks in Greenville. The zoo, ballfield, sand volleyball court, swamp rabbit trail, the reedy river...so much to enjoy here.
Really nice park...should allow venders to sell cold drinks or snow cones.....nice to go somewhere and see it clean and manicured
Always a beautiful place to go for the whole family. Tennis courts, walking and bike paths, the Zoo and plenty of picnic tables and grills.
Good Job For Someone with. Muscles Lots of lifting
Cleland Park is a beautiful place, with many friendly faces. The Zoo, park, and beautiful trials make it a place in Greenville not to miss. If youre a Pokémon Go player, its the perfect spot to get some steps in as well as spin pokestops. The only reason this beautiful place wont get five stars, is for the river. Stay out of the water for your own safety.
Nice park 2 covered areasWalking trailGrill for cookingBathrooms
Just a wonderful place, peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The park is constantly evolving and improving.
Probably the best park in the city.
I walk swamp rabbit trail often to enjoy Gods nature...very scenic and serene
I love running here
Such a wonderful place.
Love this trail to take my kids to run around
CLOSED CURRENTLY BUT GREAT when open.
The park is up kept, clean and scenic
My favorite place to start my weekend walks.
Lots of shade many different paths to walk.
Nice walking trails, came across a copperhead in the woods.
I love this park for running, walking, or walking the dog. Its great for biking, too. Its beautiful, well maintained, and a short distance to downtown.
We enjoyed the atmosphere. An active park.
Nicely laid out park with plenty to see. Enjoyed the walk with the dog. Lots of folks jogging, kids playing and people sitting. Plenty of parking.
Great park big lots of space
This is a first class park with the Reedy River meandering through the middle of well cared for lawns. Among other amenities are the exercise equiptment highlighted on one of the pics.
The zoo is there and it is good. The park has lots of playgrounds and covered tables for picnics and parties. Also has tennis courts. The Swamp Rabbit Trail goes through the park and is real popular for walking and biking.
Kids had a blast
Cute and quiet park with plenty of running area and trails. Also public work out machines perfect.
Shame the fitness equipment is still out of commission, but the park was love as always and people were thankfully observing good social distancing and mask protocol.
Great for a run, walk, hanging out with friends. Good for playing pick up games. Really enjoy walking along the Reedy river and maybe even catch some of the sounds coming from the Greenville zoo.
Great place to take strolls when the weather is not so hot. I love walking the Swamp Rabbit Trail. They have even added some free standing exercise machines. You can visit the zoo during their hours of operation, and there are vendors who sell nice frozen treats to help beat the heat!
Loved the workout equipment
This is a beautiful place to visit.
It pretty much has something for everyone here. The kids really enjoy playing here.
Great park on a beautiful day!
We used the park as the beginning of a bike ride for our new electric bikes along the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The park is well stocked with the usual equipment. By the afternoon, when we returned (Easter Sunday) the park was over flowing with all ages enjoying themselves.
Nice park, convenient access to Swamp rabbit Trail right next to downtown Greenville.
Just another reason I chose to come back to Greenville after I left the military.
Great place to find creative ways to move and get fit. New constructions (fitness equipment) to help reach personal goals. Hills and distance good for exercising. Plenty of space for family functions, cooking out, or just spontaneous hang outs with friends.
Lots of fun for the kids and very nice playground area.
Awesome place to take kids to play on the playground, walk or run, play tennis, basketball, or softball/kickball. The river is along the walking trail and is beautiful. Great place to get some outdoor time at
A very beautiful family park with something for everybody. There are playgrounds, trails both paved and through the woods. At intervsls along the paved trails are body weight exercise stations which makes it a favorite spot for outdoor fitness enthusiasts. Centrally located it is a very convenient place to escape and enjoy nature.
Nice trails. Good variety of terrain. Plenty of parking near the zoo. Picnic shelters. Bike friendly and dog friendly. Has water fountains to accommodate dogs.
Beautiful running location
Dont understand the workout equipment.... but good area to setup for a bike ride or let your dog run.
One of my favorite places to go for a run. There are paved paths and a few wooded trails for a good variety of scenery.
This is a nice park. Lots of play areas. The construction is tuff to listen to all day. Feels like its been going on forever. Hopefully it will be done soon. Walking is nice. Bike riding is good.
Such a beautiful park that has easy access to the Swamp Rabbit. There are both paved and unpaved paths throughout the park. There is sometimes an ice cream truck at the zoo playground. Definitely worth a trip if you are visiting.
Nice trails
Always a pleasure walking their trails. Peaceful and enjoyable walk.
Very nice. Great place to walk your dog. All dogs are on leash...
Great well defined walking trails. Lots of beautiful landscaping. Plenty of swings and benches to rest or enjoy the views
I go here for a running group sponsored by Fleet Feet. Its a nice park.
Very nice place to enjoy, I love the new stable park area. Keep up the Good work.
Very cool park though usually crowded.
I always run here, but so much for kids and adults to do here. Great Park
One of Greenvilles great park areas. And, the Swamp Rabbit Trail runs right through it to other great parks and downtown. What could be any better
I love eating my lunch in the park.
Awesome
Great place in the heart of Greenville. Zoo, trails, tennis courts, excercise stations and relatively flat. Great for a walk, jog or bike. Restrooms outside the zoo and close to main street
Currently undergoing some digging work to make the stream flow better. But as I was walking I noticed a lot of the trees, grass, and weeds closest to the river bend needed some much needed attention . I.e. trimming and cutting.
Enjoyed beautiful scenery while running in the spinx run !!
A great place for young children to play, walk with your dogs, or just hangout
Beautiful little park, nestled in Greenville! Lots to see and do while strolling among the greenery!
Huge park with lots to do. From swingsets to walking trails.
Beautiful Park!!!! Great Volleyball area too! Great area for Couples, Kids and Families
My husband is nothing but a lier
Rained when I went. The park and trail were covered in several areas so children could continue using playground equipment and outdoor seating was covered for events that people were having. Access to everything was within about a mile walk, including downtown. Nearby river has a substantial amount of trash that taints and otherwise nice scene of nature and relaxation.
The city keeps on improving this facility. Great place for a picnic and to watch the kids play. Bring some bread to feed the ducks and geese. This park is typically busy and a safe place for your family.
Great park. Lots of room. Walking trails. Mountain bike trails. Zoo. Volleyball court. And plenty of picknick tables and grills.
