It was decorated with lights, music played as you stayed on or walked to the next exhibit. Plenty to see and do. Enjoy the scene on the barn. Ride the carousel. Take your camera, youll have lots of opportunities and backgrounds to take those memorable shots.

Country Park has something for everybody: a long walking/jogging trail, a dog park & a puppy park, paddle boats (in summer), tennis courts, so many attractions. It also contains the beautuful, serene Forest Lawn Cemetery, where I walk my dog daily. The large, manicured park-like cemetery grounds contain several miles of paved lanes congenial to quiet walking or jogging. And it is quiet, as few people seem to use it as a park. So, unless a burial is scheduled, we seldom see more than one or two walkers and not many more cars. I love it and hope it remains as peaceful and beautiful as it is now.

My place to get away , its paved and dirt trails are all shaded , which is a blessing in the Carolina heat. Trails are long enough that you dont keep seeing the same thing over and over. I own a recumbent trike and I clock in 13 miles most times , starting from this park. Great park system.

So happy to see so many people outside enjoying nature. Dog park was nice. And I got to see the Girl Scouts build some dog activities in the park. I couldn’t get my dog to use it, like some many others lol, but it’s nice to know it’s there.

An expansive park with the greenway running through it. Its also directly next to the Greensboro Science Center and the Guilford Battleground area. It has multiple play areas for kids, peddle boats for the lake, a mountain bike area, multiple picnic shelters, a dog park, etc. You want walk, run, bike, etc. Its well kept and I have always felt safe out there as a female by myself. Its a good place to spend an entire day.

One of the most beautiful parks in Greensboro,, lots of wildlife, picnic tablesunfortunately it is not managed properly at all. They have discriminating policies that do not observe The Americans with Disabilities Act. They DONT provide reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities to access the dog park located within Country Park when they decide to keep the gates to the park closed. This has been going on for years! Despite my complaints to seek reasonable accommodations they continue to dismiss me as someone who doesnt matter.

Beautiful park, has good trails for mountain biking. has shelters we can rent and also open areas we can have a small picnic. Kids had a good time at the play area and they loved going down hill with their bikes. Hike was very pleasant and on a hot day it was a great place to hangout outside with family. The City did a great job in up-keeping of this place. We also got to do the paddle boat with 3 different boats. Love their Swan shaped boats. They add a nice touch to the experience.

Really great spot for young ones. The aquarium was a nice surprise. Here I thought the closest one from Durham was in SC. The petting zoo is only open in the weekends but the little ones love the goats and sheep. Beware the roaming peacock, surprised me when we came around the corner and he was just walking around. 50% discount with the Durham Life and Science museum membership.

Country Park is a lovely free park for people to enjoy. You drive in and park your car in the parking lot. The road actually going through the park is closed to vehicles during the weekends and on holidays. The park has many nice amenities. There is a Bark Park, an off-leash dog park that is located within Country Park. There are educational programs available. There are also two lakes for fishing, and nature, hiking, and biking trails. The Guilford County Veterans Memorial is in Country Park. There are also playgrounds for the younger members of the family. If you are looking for a free outdoor activity site for all to enjoy, give Country Park a visit.
