Wetn wild is a very fun and enjoyable place to take your whole family on one of these hot summer days. the lines for rides arent usually the longest and the rides themselves are very fun and perfect for both kids and adults of all ages. the biggest complaint I have is of the expensiveness of the food sold within the park, but thats common amongst most theme parks. so be prepared to take your wallet! all in all this park gave my family and I wonderful memories and it was a fun experience with a beautiful scenery.

First time here, price was ok although I did get a discount because of my occupation. Four to five hours is plenty of time to see everything. Parking was good for me on a Monday. Most of the staff was friendly but I did run into a few who obviously did not like their job at all. Wave pool was a little lame. One wave every 2 minutes or so, they need to have maybe once every hour where they come every 15 seconds for a full minute. That would make it much more enjoyable. All and all it was a good time, I did not eat the food, but the ice cream was delicious. Although like any amusement park food and desserts are quite expensive.

I’ve been fortunate that a friend always takes me with one of their free passes and when it isn’t too busy.I don’t deny that there are times that their water is a little chilly for me but I’m anemic so my opinion on that shouldn’t count. lolThe kids have a BLAST! I have a BLAST!The food is pricey but good and is worth the splurge a little for the full experience.I love making my friend’s daughter happy by riding the big rides with her. Went here on the 4th of July a few years ago. Didn’t enjoy it, not much to do as most attractions were closed off. Lines were long. It was good for the kids who enjoyed swimming. I would suggest bringing your own food/snacks and drinks. Everything was overpriced. Fire works didn’t last as long as I would’ve liked. Overall it was not a good experience, should’ve just had a cookout at home with friends and family.

We had such a blast! Went on all the major rides. Lines were not too bad. 20-45 minutes for wait times on a Saturday! We kept our phones, money, and clothes in the car. Lockers were over priced. $12 for a small and $20 for a large locker. We carried our car key and towels with us. You can go to your car at anytime and enter right back into the park. They will stamp your hand when you go to your car. Most people walked barefoot in the park. Definitely keep your sunscreen with you. I wouldn’t recommend wearing sunglasses or hats, they will fly off the rides.Wave pool is my absolute favorite! Spent two hours in that. :)Great balance of rides for kids and adults! Emerald Point is always a good time. A great value for the money. However this time I was a little disappointed we paid extra money for Cabana but no one ever came around to take our lunch order ...we waited 30 mins. So we had to walk to get lunch and bring it all back which took more time away from our day. They ended up shutting down the park early due to a storm at least they refunded us our tickets.

Great water park with lots to do. I love that they offer life vests for kids at pretty much every swimming area. We spent the entire day there and I was so worth it. Different rides/swimming areas for every age. Parking was easy as well (we paid for parking online with our tickets). Also, it was nice they had a cooler storage area, which does cost extra ($8 if I remember correctly depending on the size of the cooler) so we didnt have to lug our cooler around or leave it in the car.

Most of the workers and life guards are nice and friendly... they need more family friendly rides for kids 42 inches, there are 2 (3 if you include the kiddy tube ride by the kiddy wave pool) that the family can do together. The pools are all kid friendly but in the lower level of the wave pool you will get knocked down so kids do need live jackets. Our kids like the 3ft pool, its just a pool all around 3ft. But all around fun place for any age.

Ran down. Service was mediocre at best. We got a cabana and just wasn’t impressed. The attractions are old and feel unsafe. The weight scales were broken so it was basically a teenager at the top judging people. I was fine but he claimed a child that was with us weighed more than 200lbs. She’s chubby but not that chubby. Tried to report him but manager was surprise surprise also another teenage kid. I give two stars because there were a couple good attractions but overall I’m being generous with the 2 stars. Completed a survey and asked to be contacted and no one every got back to me. No big deal I just won’t return. There are better places to spend my money.

The water park itself is great. The slides were fun and the kids play area was awesome for my 2 year old son. They had plenty of life guards and the attendents at the slides were very helpful and friendly. However the reason for the 3 star rating is the concessions. We waited in line for ever in those things. And I dont think it was because it was so busy. At every vendor they only had one line open when they had the ability to have 2 or three. And I mean come on its a Saturday in August at a water park not a random Tuesday. Also the people running the concessions had the personality of a person in an antidepressant ad before the happy I started taking medication that makes me not hate myself ending. I know you might not want to be there and make food, lemonade, or hand out bottles of water to people. But for heavens sake at least try to fake it. But I will go back Ill just pack everything.

Kids pool is Absolutely filthy. Paint chipping off everything. I had to ask 3 people before anyone even pretended that they would find someone to replace the paper towels at The Diaper Changing Area!!!! Its the one main place that Im sure people would like to be able to wash their hands!!! Preteens run around in droves without any supervision, and no one from the park says anything to them. The bathrooms are Completely Unhygienic no one is cleaning them throughout the day, what I saw turned my stomach. This park is raking in the cash from ticket sales to parking and overpriced food. One slice of pizza and one drink $12.00. A whole pizza was advertised as $40.00. While these prices are the usual prices for parks similar to this this one is just so disgusting and dirty. With Rampant damage to everything including fences and ropes placed to keep kids out of areas. This place needs a serious overhaul on its management and they most definitely need to have a new system in place for keeping this place clean. And the kiddie pool needs someone devoted to making sure kids arent able to reach down everywhere and pick up, pieces of plastic bags, small rubber bands, dead bugs, paint chips and anything else from the time they open until the time they close. Because obviously the filters in place are not sufficient to keep the pool anywhere near clean.

It has plenty of pools and water attractions!! All ages from 2 yrs to almost 50 yrs had a good time. However, dont expect them to stand by their own policies. The dress code was NOT enforced even after it was shown to at least three employees that one womans entire rear end was exposed. I expect to see this at the beach, but when I checked Emerald Points website prior to our visit, it was clear that private parts are the remain covered. Also, lots of bare feet going around, too. (No, bare feet dont bother me, its just another example of not enforcing policy.) Bags were barely inspected. We enjoyed our visit, but we were all appalled that our toddlers were exposed to naked butts AND that the park did not stands by its own policies.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Did we have a good time yes. But the place is small. Im from Miami and Im use to water parks from Orlando which are twice the size of this one especially the parking lot. The parking lot when you arrive is a disaster no one is directing traffic and all the cars are going in every direction into a very small lot. Getting out at the end of the day was about a half hour ordeal. Inside the park there are several slides with really long lines for a very short slide and the biggest attraction slides were closed down so we were all crammed into one section of the park. Seating was very difficult to find and the pricing of food was outrages. We ended bringing a cooler with lunch which we had to leave in the car because they charge you to hold your cooler and sit in there dining area. We had to exit the park to get our cooler and eat outside of the park. If youve never been to a water park then definitely check this place out but me Ill stick to my Orlando water parks.

My partner and I went mid-week for the first time. Lines werent terrible, i think we waited like 20 minutes tops for a ride. We had a blast and there were some relaxing alternatives to the slides like the Lazy River and the Wave pool. The food served there was really pricey but a nice option to have since we didnt bring food. If we do go again well bring a cooler since you can reenter the park. They have picnic areas right outside of the gate so you can enjoy your homemade lunch there. The park offers a cooler storage station (that you have to pay for) i guess its an alternative to keeping it in your car but the storage area is outdoors so Im not sure I would pay the money to store it. I didnt rate them with 5 stars because the park itself could use a face lift. Plus the rates they charge for extras is bananas (we paid $20 for a locker to fit one backpack; and around $15 for 2 slices of pizza and a drink). Also a few rides hurt my back, like the dragon ride, its a 2-person tube ride and if your bottom is touching the slide, prepare for some lower back pain! {I am not an elder nor obese}TIP: I wouldnt use the first set of lockers you see, there are more lockers sprinkled throughout the park that arent as busy or slick with sun block

Lets start off by saying my family loves Emerald Pointe. We take my son there often and we have an amazing time. Rides are fun, plenty of seating, crowds arent obnoxious. I dont agree with the height requirements for some of the rides but I get the safety issue. My 6 year old is an excellent swimmer and is capable of going on most of the rides. I understand that the height requirements are generalized so we follow the rules. HOWEVER, this last time my family went...WE HAD SERIOUS ISSUES WITH (lifeguard) ALISSA!!!! We watched her let children go down rides who were definitely under the height requirements. She didnt even try to check height and it made us (especially my son) very unhappy. We let it go but then when I went down a ride later in the day, and she was there. I had a tight tank over my suit to cover what the good Lord gave me, but when I lined up to go down the ride she told me I had to take it off. I was very uncomfortable with that and tried to understand why I had to take it off. I ultimately decided I was too uncomfortable with it and left. No big deal...THEN my husband tells me that Alissa let a woman down the ride who was wearing a shirt way too big and another woman who was wearing a bathing suit cover! I did not appreciate the inconsistency and I felt singled out...that may not have been her intention but I was embarrassed the rest of the day. We will come back to Emerald Pointe but if I see Alissa...Ill be turning the other way.

We went on a Wednesday morning and the lines werent crazy long. Thunder rolled in at 3pm so they handed out rain passes to come back 3 hours before closing on another day. We took a cooler which we left in the car until lunchtime. We immediately snagged a picnic table to eat at. If you dont want to spend $100 on food and drinks, I suggest bringing your own cooler. It wasnt the best time of all. It would have been a lot better if they didnt have 2 slides AND the lazy river closed off. Every line was so packed because the most popular attractions were closed off. You could barely move in the wave pool. Ive never seen it so bad and Ive been there at least ten times. It should have at least been cheaper that day. Its terrible. Waste of money, really. Its a long trip there already and then to get there and cant even ride everything, is horrible. And we couldnt ride much that was open because like I said, everyone was all in the same area. And to top it all off, our towels got stolen off the chair we had. Get it together, Emerald pointe!

I went with my wife and two children (ages 4 and 7) on July 4th. The park wasnt near as crowded as I expected. Weather may have had something to do with that, though, as there were some popcorn storms in the area. Nothing was broken down, the park was clean, bathrooms were clean, and there was plenty to do for everyone. The only thing holding this place back is it is a bit of a money grab. We spent almost another $100 on top of park admission for parking, a locker, one meal, and a snack we shared. I know this is common practice for most parks, and we could have made different choices to avoid many of these extra costs. However, the water park where I grew up offers free parking, drinks, and even sunscreen while also keeping reasonable prices on food, so I know it is possible for this park to improve in this area. Overall, though, my family left here very happy.

Nice water park with many attractions. We bought a season pass and one of them was the Priority with perks which is nice. However, a couple places I ate inside, the food was pricey for what we received. For example, ordered a Popcorn Chicken basket and it came with about 5-6 pieces(small) and the rest were curly fries for nearly $7...I definitely expected more chicken since fries are so cheap. Also, overall their beverage prices were high too. There is a pizza place inside that by the slice seems manageable but whole pizzas are ridiculous. We try not to eat there but sometimes hard to avoid.

The water park and it’s size and the money you spend on it (for season pass) is 4 stars. The customer service is a 2 or 2.5 stars, giving the overall place a 3 star rating. The park will close if the attendants is low! They will give a rain check but that doesn’t help someone who takes off work and has to drive an hour to get there. I was there when they did. I talked to a staff member who admitted to me it was because of attendance. The ‘official’ reason was bad weather was coming in. That may have worked 10 or 15 years ago, but most people have smart phones and problems half have a weather app. There was no bad weather for 200 miles!Rules aren’t always clear for each area. For example at the wave pool they whistle at you if you go out too far (how far is too far - don’t know because it’s not posted! Why not paint a red line on the walls with a sign or use a suspended rope with flags/sign?). Or, if you hang onto the wall in the wave pool they whistle- no sign.

They need to find a completely new way to have people lining up and processing season passes. The person in front of us was at the window for over 20 minutes and there were at least 50 people behind us. Do the math, that means some people would be standing there all day. also, there needs to be better clear signage as far as to what line you need to be waiting and so you dont spend an hour in line only to be told youre standing in the wrong line. That happened to several people also. Theres a large shortage of standing maps within the park, I cant carry a paper map around in my soaking wet hand all day. when I ask where a map was, I had two different workers tell me they didnt know.I just feel like theres a lot of price gouging going on including having to pay so much for parking, then paying to have somebody watch your cooler (really? Ive never heard of such a thing in my life, Ill bring my own cooler babysitter next time, lol), and over $10 for one locker... Makes it almost impossible for the average family to have an affordable day out.On a positive note, I was very impressed with the skill and attention level of the lifeguards. I personally saw three different incidents where they had to go in after someone and they were right on it. Thats very important so kudos on that!

This has always been one of my favorite places but prices are way too high for what you get. For 2 people its $10 to park, $80 to get in the door and $20 for a looker if you plan to change clothes. They have still have some of the old slides and some new ones that looked really cool. Problem there is the lines. I really wanted to try the Dragons den but after waiting in line for over half an hour and still having at least as much time left to wait I decided it was a waste of time. Did the wave pool, lazy river, rapids and a couple of others and they were great but just didnt seem worthy of how much we paid. I must add though this is a nice water park and the kid in me wants to give it 5 stars and maybe if you want to take the kids on a week day when they are not so busy Im sure theyll love it. The prices is really the only thing holding it back. Oh and they need to get rid of the people running around taking pictures of you cause its just annoying.

Been here since I was a kid. This place is always a hit. If you want to avoid crowds, go anytime not during a big sale or weekend. The only slides that hurt are the older ones that are built into the hillside. They are black covered tubes if I recall it correctly. The daredevil can cause issues. Staff are fine, pools and grounds well kept. Stake out a place early on and enjoy the whole day. Food-wise, you may as well get their meal deal package. No restaurant stands out; theyre all subpar but food is food here. The cabana rentals are worth it if you go with a large crowd and dont want to worry about staking your claim. Also nice if you go with older people so they can take a nap. Just be careful which ones you pick b/c there are a lot of bees and wasps. Let the staff know if its a problem and theyll try to move you. The cabanas are also nice if you get them near the kid area and you have kids. Overall though, the price is well worth the fun!

Loved it! We never take a break from everyday life and we needed this. It was a slow day, thank goodness! All staff members were very friendly! Pizza was very over priced and no way in a million life times worth it.! I should have gotten a cabana. But we enjoyed it and will return and recomend.

The waiting lines are half an hour to over an hour EACH for rides/slides. The food line even took 45 minutes. On my 8 hour visit, I believe I spent 6 hours in lines and two hours in the water. Its 20 dollars to rent a locker big enough to hold my shoes and my bookbag. 10 dollars to park. 30-45 dollars per person to come enjoy the water. They are making money hand over fist! They need to have enough rides to accommodate the number of patrons. I was very disappointed with the experience.

Always buy the season pass with parking if you even think youll be there more than once. It will pay for its self in 2 visits. We have 8 people in our family and it saves us a boat load. The only down side is they are hit and miss on what the rules are on some rides. They will let some kids on a ride smaller than your kid but then say oh sorry you kid is to short. Complaints to management go no where. And next year we will think about it a little more then just going ahead and getting them. But 4 years of 8 season passes as of now I say good deal.

Amazing time. One of the workers, however yelled at my kids for going in the line for the riptide ride without any notice of it not currently being operational. I told the manager that no one needs to yell or raise their voice to my children. They didnt even do anything wrong. He fixed it, we had fun. 5 stars even with that rage monster working there.

Too hot on the day we went and the lines were way too long. You really only get wet in the wave pool. I love the wave pool. Oh and the dressing rooms were flithy, I never seen anyone cleaning them. The seat in the changing rooms had a thick layer of dust.

Great place ... Well worth the money...the only down side is the height requirements for the rides.... My five yr old would absolutely LOVE to ride EVERYTHING THERE and be perfectly fine...but they want allow it bc of his height ... Silly rule... I Wish they would let the parent judge if there own child was capable or not! Other than that its great! Overpriced food just like any other fair or park! U can Pack a cooler though & leave it in car or at stand near gate!

Was nice. Hardly anything handicap accessible so they should reduce prices for those in wheelchairs. Was not handicap friendly. Not enough handicap parking either.

Great place to go with family that likes water. Not too big water park. Would recommend bringing own cooler and food to store in car. Smoothie and funnel cakes were not good. Food quality not good at park. Most of Staff at park were teens and they were friendly overall. Look foward to going again with family.

Great water park to go have a blast at. Theyve got a ride for about every level of fun that you could want, whether its the Lazee River or Dare Devils Drop. Things can add up quickly so weigh your options..ex $10 a day for a small locker, think its $30 for the large lockers, $8.36 for a draft beer. Plan accordingly to your budget for storage, snacks, food and drinks.

Good place for a day excursion. Once a month be all I want. Nice friendly people only thing I didnt like is I seen a few people with clip on pocket knives. On their pants pocket. Dont think anyone needs a weapon like that in a family place. People are crazy today. Bags were hand checked but. And food prices are way to high. Large pizza 36 bucks no not going there. Price for day is expensive but they got make money. 4 months out of the year.

Always a good experience. Great staff. A whole Pizza for $35 is somewhat steep. A little confusion over the 99 cent refill policy with souvenir cups. Plenty to keep you busy for day of fun.

Great place, friendly staff! Way expensive food though, but no ones forcing you to buy it. You can bring your own, you just cant bring it inside, but you can leave and reenter the park! Great rides, and they care about safety.

I go here once a year only because I have other places I visit. My son loves to ride the waves in the open pool, myself I love the lazee river you just lay back on a tube and ride around the pool, around cures and a waterfall. My niece loves the Double Barrel Blast and the dark tunnel of terror the scarier the better for her. There is an area for smaller children so they dont get trampled by adults. They also have a store and a place to eat. You can rent your own cabana or just hand out on the lounge chairs provided. I enjoy this place when I am able to scedule time to visit. If I lived near there I would visit everyday.

Cost of ticket is reasonable if you buy a season pass.

Emerald Pointe Wet N Wild of Greensboro, NC is an awesome experience. Ive been here before multiple times. Staff is always been friendly and professional. Facility seems well-maintained. Something for everyone there. If you dont enjoy the rides then the wave pool is laid-back, easygoing and very enjoyable. Very accommodating to people with multiple food allergies. Family-friendly atmosphere. I definitely will be going back again.
