The room was okay and challenging to be fun however the ambience and mood was not really set. I understand COVID has made things difficult however the staff was unenthusiastic. The room didnt have music or any other small quirks to set the mood. All in all definitely the worst escape room service I have experienced.

Super fun way to connect, in person, with family, friends, and co-workers. Our game master, Gary, was such a nice person to work with. The puzzles were challenging and varied. A must do!

Visited from New Orleans, and have been to many Escape rooms. This one was BY FAR the best experience.! Our entire team’s adrenaline was pumping trying to figure things out! Highly recommend. Plus, the lady who worked with us was very pleasant. Definitely going to go again for my next trip to denver

It was sooo awsome we did The Experiment, it’s a nice game for all the science nerd out there lol, you don’t need any knowledge just think outside the box.

I was not impressed by their sherlock room. The decor wasnt that cool. The puzzles were easier than I expected. The checkin process took and extremely long time

For it being set up in a house it wasnt bad. The staff was excellent. Would have like to see a multiple room experience.

We did The Heist with a group of 10 people. It was pretty challenging, and we made it out but not without the help of clues. I would go back again and try their other challenge.

I have done many escape rooms but not one in an old house. My friends and I completed The Heist. It was challenging but very fun. Cant wait to go back to do the other ones. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

This was a fun evening for me and my sales team. We used Room 5280 Escape Room as a team building activity and it was a lot of laughs and a lot of fun. It really did take a team to solve all the puzzles, and it really fostered a great team environment.

Im always excited to try new escape room venues so when this one opened up I had to check it out. While the experience wasnt all bad, our group left very disappointed. The venue itself is very unique - its in an old house and the hallways have tons of cool art. The staff was very nice but the room and puzzles left a lot to desired. The room we tried out felt like an escape room that was created when escape rooms just started out many years ago. The theming was poorly connected and the room itself was extremely basic - think a teenagers bedroom with some random furniture thrown in. If you have completed escape rooms before, I would recommend trying a different venue. But the main reason I have to give such a low review is that a few of the clues were defective. One had been used so much that the trick no longer worked and another couldnt be used too much or else it wouldnt work the rest of the game. We were able to get around a few of these with some guessing but it was crazy to us that the staff didnt replace these props (especially for how low budget they were) when they realized they started to get worn down/ineffective. Modern day escape rooms should not have this problem and could easily frustrate new or veteran players. If youre looking for a new escape room in Greensboro, I wouldnt recommend this one despite the ratings. It seems like they are just good at SEO and most of their budget is spent on online marketing instead of puzzles.

I came for my friends birthday party and had an AMAZING time! I have been to an escape room before, but this was like a whole new experience! The fact that it is in an old house gives it that much more charm! The Big Boss as the door says was an absolute joy and made the whole experience even better! I had a blast and will most definitely be returning!

First time going here, it was an amazing experience! Staff members were kind and the owner Gary was very helpful when I was struggling to pay online! We did The Heist with my friends and kids, which was said to be the hardest of the rooms to choose from. We didn’t manage to complete the puzzles but we were so close! It was super fun and we laughed so much. Definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in escape rooms or in trying something different.

We did the Sherlock room and it was really fun. My friend and I brought the kids along and everyone of every age had a blast. It was a challenge but we managed to escape with a little over 3 minutes left. I would definitely recommend this place and cant wait to try a different room. Gary was nice and very helpful.

We were in town on a trip and decided to do escape games. Went to Breakout Games and had a blast, but came here today and enjoyed it so much more. The rooms are very interactive and keep your heart racing. The owner is super nice and courteous to what you want. Would definitely recommend you to come here!

This escape room was soo much fun. I had such a great time, met some new cool people, and would recommend it. It was my first time at this location and I did the Sherlock room. Lots of puzzles that took team work. My team was able to escape with only 5 minutes to spare. The game master was awesome. The clues that were given did not directly gives us the answer but gave us helpful guides. Def try it out

The Sherlock room was awesome!!! Better than most escape rooms and had some of the coolest clues and features! The rooms were so clean and unique unlike anything I have seen, Gary is so amazing! Can’t wait to go back next weekend!!

The best escape room EVERRRR! The rooms have varying levels of difficulty and are great for groups and date night. I was definitely entertained. The atmosphere is family friendly. Everybody has something to add to the escape. This is a must do! Five ️️️️️

This was my first visit to anything like this. We had a great time! I will say that it was quite difficult, and not intuitive at all. We needed extra clues to escape, but I would totally do it again.
