Staff was friendly and art exhibits were interesting. We usually give a donation but they took them out. Might want to consider putting it back as some would like to donate.

Art isnt for everyone, its a rotating exhibit so there is always a possibility of something you havent seen. I found many pieces that moved me and just made me think. Maybe not the most aesthetic pieces, but I enjoyed my experience immensely.

Great gallery. Not overwhelming, very calming. Just right for younger art lovers. They usually have interesting exhibits and it doesn’t take an entire day to tour. The outdoor court yard is just the place for a fairly quiet break.

Good place for kids that like art. It doesnt overwhelm them with its size and has very interesting art for them to enjoy. Super nice security guards to help find a good path through.

This museum consists of 7 galleries. Theres no cost to visit, but donations are recommended. Its fairly easy to see everything within an hour. There are several interesting pieces within every gallery.

Nice little museum. I like the way its set up, gives you time to enjoy each piece before moving on the the next one. I really like the outside garden, its very relaxing. Cant wait to go back

The only picture I could take because even thought the website and the google map said it was open, we went on a Friday at3 pm and was closed. Apparently the admission is free and the parking is very accesible and easy to find.

Art lovers who visit the area will appreciate the huge collection of American art which the Weatherspoon Museum of Art has to share with the Greensboro community! Two very impressive exhibits, one on Geometric Abstraction and the other on the Human Form, are on display into the fall and are well worth a look. The sculpture garden is also a great addition to the museum and boasts the work of many nationally and internationally know artists. Check it out!

This museum is small but had great items when I went today. There is a sculpture garden at the entrance. It was playing a thunderstorm from the speakers today.The basement has storage of items that the museum rotates through every few monthes. Large free parking lot in back of building.

The art here is really cool and I loved it, but the employees make you feel so unwelcome. I just got a new camera and the flash accidentally went off taking a photo of a string exhibit and the woman started scolding me and wouldn’t listen to me telling her it was genuinely an accident. Instead she followed me around and each room I went into told other workers and were very VERY unprofessional and rude about the situation. I have NEVER felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Wonderful reading of different fairy tales in various ways. The American Sign Language, Library Science Department, and French language were AWESOME! Very expressive groups. The Fairy Tale gallery had some thought provoking display. Great place to visit.

The 2019 art on paper exhibit was enlightening. There were many works in the exhibit from local and international artists. Suyeon Nas work with some of my favorite.

Very small, not many art pieces in each room. I was in and out in maybe 10 minutes because theres not much to see.

A jewel on UNCG campus, the Weatherspoon Art Museum is a must see if art is your thing.

My daughters attending NCAT, so I took the opportunity to see William de Koonings Woman, and I wasnt disappointed. Not bad for 139 million dollars. The museum is small but filled with strong abstract pieces.

Love this place. They regularly update the art installations. The staff is very friendly too. My daughter loves the mirrors outside. This is a good place to visit with toddlers, especially when it is too cold to take them outside.

Wonderful lecture, very inspiring exhibits!

For a free museum working off of a donation box in the front its hard to complain! We went with a child, art for him and my husband to enjoy along with myself too! You have to read about the art, especially if you believe its just a pile of suitcases! There is stories to go along with most projects. Will be looking forward to any updates and my family will be stopping by again!

I always enjoy the changing exhibits here. Parking can be an issue early in the day during the school semester, but after 5pm Ive never had an issue.

The Weatherspoon Art Museum is such a special part of UNCGs campus, and is a great way to see the talent that is within the school. Easy parking and free entrance makes the Weatherspoon a place to visit in Greensboro.

Its well worth a trip to Greensboro just to visit the Weatherspoon. In addition to a fine permanent collection, the Weatherspoon always offers high caliber curated exhibitions.

Exterior and interior architecture is beautiful. Free parking and admission. Exhibitions on second floor are very interesting. Friendly staff. Great materials that go along with exhibitions, including large print materials. We saw a collection of Japanese painting of snow when we visited.

An excellent, and free, way to spend a couple of hours and peep some cool art. While not everything was in my appreciation wheelhouse, I did see a multipanel painting that was brilliant!

So much space. So little art. Unless you believe a pile of suit cases is art. I could go on but I dont want to waste any more of my time on this place.

A variety of work is shown in a multi-gallery facility. Frequently, special exhibits feature artist talks. These are great for folks interested in learning about an artists process and sources of inspiration.
