Big beautiful clean park. They is so much space to spread out and so many different activities you can do here. Over can play frisbee golf (course set up), fish, picnic, bike, observe the river. Tinas of trees to keep it shady. But come prepared. The bathrooms are not convenient!! A great family park to spread out but plan accordingly! Each section (very long park) sends to have its own designation for what over might want to do there. We enjoyed it for sure (team meeting). The squirrels are friendly.

My Sister and I took her dog Bailey so he could have a great day before she had to put him down. Bailey had a cheese burger , fries and vanilla ice cream . Bailey got to enjoy his day in the park and with lots of Love and many pictures!!!! Love and Miss you .

Very Beautiful! Peaceful! Full of wild life. Huge park that runs alongside the Grand River. Ball fields of all kinds. Tennis courts. Walk/Jogging path that circles entire park.Perfect....

My husband and I went here to play disc golf. The scenery is just beautiful. A lot of water and trees. The course was pretty open. There were challenging holes but they kept it interesting. The downside was that people were fishing on quite a few of the holes. Its a pretty busy park so it seems quite rare that you would be able to play through without worrying about other people. The course was confusing if you dont have UDisc app downloaded. So visually it was stunning, but the disc golf course needs work. They also have beautiful bike trails and a playground for kids.

Love this park Ive been going since a child. My father taught me how to fish here as a child and i have taught mine here as well. Great place for a walk during sunset as well.

This place is very scenic and well maintained. It borders the Grand River and there are plenty of places to fish, both on the river and in the lakes and streams in the park. There are several playgrounds, sports fields, and picnic areas. The picnic areas for large groups look... Alright... Though a little warn. There are port-a-potties strewn about and lots of wildlife to enjoy including geese, ducks, and squirrels.

Absolutely fabulous park! I am never disappointed while coming here. The park is well maintained, plenty of parking, and plenty of activities in which to partake! Whether it be grilling, playing on the playground, a game of baseball or disc golf, fishing, or merely walking the entire length of the property, there is always something to do. The restrooms are also always clean and I always see park officials around doing tasks to improve the property.

My wife and had a very nice and peaceful walk at Riverside Park. No cars. Just people. Riverside has BBQ grilles, picnic tables, ponds and the Grand River for fishing. The is also Frisbee golf. As well as 2 boat launches. Oh, did I mention the friendly ducks?

I really love this park, especially when bringing my small dog. Its kinda unique as a park design, as its quite long but not terribly wide, which I think is very much in its favor.Theres a lot here though, from playsets to disc golf courses. Theres also a number of benches along the beach area for people to sit and relax.

Spectacular park. The scenery is awesome no matter what time of the season. The bike path is extensive and there are a few spots for some decent fishing. There are several picnic tables and places just to play some ping pong. Very nice park. Even the animals enjoy the park.

Beautiful place in the city of Grand Rapids to get away too, I watched my nephew have a cross country meet here.

Very large ,(pet friendly) roadside park located on the biggest river in Michigan.Fishing, frisbee golf , bike path , kayaking with multiple boat launch sites.Lively enough for the kids to be able to pet watch as many people bring their dogsTo my knowledge it has a very low crime rate.I have never been in any situation where I felt unsafe.

My favorite park in the city! Family friendly! we bike, we exercise and we also took our family photos there. I cannot wait to buy a hammock so I can just go hang out

End to end a decent walk. Some parts could be cleaner. But some beautiful stretches for sure.

Great park. Huge! Riverside so you can fish. Long walking trails, multiple boat launches. Frisbee golf, soccer fields, baseball fields, picnic tables, concrete ping pong tables, play area with slides and swings for the kids....just so much to do here!

Great park trail setting, a few people fish and if its not being used - bring your ping pong gear.

Nice park, several softball diamonds, water sports on the river like fishing, kayaking or boating. Plus an 18 hole disc golf course. Plenty of rest rooms as well.

Watched our niece play her final T-ball game for this season. But there are great paved and dirt walking trails and fishing.

Great park. My first time visiting was for a 5k. Great marked paths. Nice lake and baseball fields. Right along the Grand River.

I love taking my bike through riverside. Awesome scenery all the way down the river and through the boat launches.

I always enjoy a visit to Riverside Park. My dog, Taz, loves to run around and explore! The scenery is lovely, the park is clean, and fellow visitors have always been pleasant. Definitely one of our favorite parks nearby!

Beautiful paved path near the river for walking, running, biking, rollerblading, skateboarding. There are many benches scattered along the route if you fancy a rest. Plenty of ducks and geese to visit with as well. They have food trucks come in I believe on Fridays in the summer.

Love running here, the white pine trail runs through it. Easy to navigate, there are a lot of water fowl here though. It does have multiple facilities for different sports, football, baseball, even disk golf.

Always loved this park. 2 mile bike/walk trail, good breeze off the river and very nice park for kids, families and sports advocates.

Is normally flooded but the time I went there it was not so Riverside Park is a hit or miss. Great place to bring the kids but you have to take the Gamble

Food truck Friday! First time I came to one in the evening, theyre usually during lunch time in my hometown. The concept was nice just wish there were more trucks and a better variety of food. They all accepted cards which is a plus. The park itself only had one portopotty & the locked didnt work. It offered no way to wash your hands which I thought was very odd & unsanitary for a food festival.

Good disc golf, park is busy, can be overwhelming with activity and hard to disc golf, people bbq and fish and picnic on the course and around baskets, pretty annoying. Overall cool park though.

Its a very large park and accomodations a lot of activity. The geese are annoying and people ignore the posted signs that say dont feed them. But overall its very nice park mostly nice people and safe for family fun.

A great place to find relaxation, fishing, boating, running, biking, playing sports. A great escape in the city.

I went there to use the boat launch. The dock was missing and it woukd be impossible to actually get a boat in the river. On the other hand the park is absolutely beautifull and I highly suggest taking your family here for some fun.

Just okay for kayaking. Grand River is filthy and boat drop is full of duck feces on the ground. They also have rowing races on the Grand River.

Its a fun park. Right on the Meijer bike trail and the grand river. A few playgrounds through the park. Fishing and disc golf opportunities as well. Only a few miles out of downtown grand rapids. Great location.

This park has a lot to offer. Beautiful scenery, play area, wonderful walking trail. Right now its a little bit under water in some areas buy still enjoyable.

Wonderful park along the Grand River with lots to see! Its filled with pretty ponds, birds, cute bridges, etc. It is great for a walk or bike ride. On a hot sunny day its a perfect place to be because of the breeze and the shade from the trees. There are at least two playgrounds in this park too.

Grew up in this area, was good then and better now. So much stuff going on here but never overcrowded. Disc golf, parks, fishing, boat launches, nice walks along the path and people are well aware of everyone around them whether its bicyclist or runners. Baseball fields, soccer fields. Pow wows are here, gay festivals, food trucks. They made it more safe along the sides of the streets too.

Great green space and great views of the river, including a fun walk across on a pedestrian bridge.

Great park with a shaded bike/walking path several miles long. Frisbee Golf, multiple playgrounds and restrooms. Fishing ponds, grills, and picnic areas everywhere. Love this park and the food trucks during Friday nights in the summer.

I love this park. I grew up playing baseball and soccer here and Im glad they havent changed the place much. There are few places left in town that I can go to experience nostalgia like this.
