This park is a great place to play almost any spots. And now is getting better the city is adding more stuff to work out .

Very nice park. The kids had fun playing ultimate frisbee under the lights.

My only issue is you need a walkway for wheelchairs not safe going down a hill or walker for that matter. My granddaughter enjoyed herself. Nice park and its new.

We had National Night Out at MacKay-Jaycees park with our Firefighters, First Responders and Grand Rapids Police. Great night for the kids and very nice park!

Fyi the restrooms werent open and around dusk homeless people squat in the wooded area around the bike and walking trails.....

Nice park with alot for everyone from young to old to do. Picked up some food and went for a picnic was a fun spot to have a picnic and have lunch

Wide open space, in the middle of GR

Great place to just hang out mostly its for baseball and soccer but you could bring food and have a pickneck. They have a concession stand when games are on.

They dont take great care of the fields in the back and dont always have bathrooms open, but overall a nice park

Great place to hang out, play soccer, and shoot hoops. Nice for picnics. Parking lot needs a little fixing though.

We took a walk through the attached cemetery and then played on the playground. Both were a little run down and sad, though all the trees are very nice. The playground is a little overgrown and old and fading, but its almost charming. We had it to ourselves most of the time we were there. Our 13 month old loved climbing up and down the slide, great work out for her! Despite the 3 stars I have to give for the condition of the place we will certainly be back.

Best place for quiet time on a walk, not ever usually busy

The soccer field grass is kept up well. I nice change from turf giving kids versatility to playing on all field types. Parking lots are okay a d there are a few potholes. Overall the sprawing park is kept up very well.

Great tennis and soccer fields

Playground is not maintained at all. It is rusting and fallen apart. The rest of the park seems pretty nice, lots of softball fields and basketball courts and tennis courts. Also some cool nature trails. I would recommend it for anything but the playground. Although I will say it has a lot of shade which most newer parks don’t

I love baseball season. My son has been involved for 4 years and all of the coaches, parents or family and friends...volunteers have been wonderful. We need positive influence now more than ever.

MacKay-Jaycees Park has beautiful nature trails, but is not very accessible to local neighborhood. Its really a shame that this park doesnt have pedestrian access to Alger Heights, even though its right next door. My son and husband like to go here to play tennis, and there are also basketball courts and soccer fields.

Fields were flat and smooth for playing sports. Even though the park was busy with other sports I had no issues finding a parking spot.

Love playing tennis there some but some ofthe courts are needing repair

Ive played a few seasons of ultimate frisbee here and they have plenty of open fields for wherever you want. There are also a couple soccer fields, several softball fields, and tennis courts.

Fields were muddy and not well taken care of. Needs some work. Could not see over fence needs to be raised and upgraded. Parking was good. Not a good place for wheelchairs had to go four wheeling to get to ball Fields.

Not in very good condition baseball fields are uneven and in bad shape. I cant believe they play Little league on the fields.

Pretty park great for baseball and softball

Played a couple games out here for the GR Social Club and the facilities are pretty nice! Good lighting for later games too.

Great park. Has multiple baseball and soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds, short trails through wooded areas, pavilion area with a grill. Bathrooms are not open year round.

Pot holes galore. Park poorly maintained.

Only get off at bus stop there to head to my storage unit but its a horrible place to have to cross the street
