A hidden gem! If you follow the dirt trail down the hill and into the woods you will embark on an adventure! There are trails and paths to explore in every direction. There is also a refreshing creek that my kid enjoyed splashing in. We spent an hour wondering, exploring, and getting lost. Words of caution: wear big spray and try not to get lost.

This is a great new park! I’m looking forward to future developments!Large parking lot just off Leonard, but lacking large shade trees for cars. As of right now, there are no bathrooms. It’s a lovely place with an overlook & trails (some paved, some not), but the trails aren’t well delineated/marked. It seems as though the creators of the trail had a great idea, implemented it, and then left it. Unfortunately many of the trails have washed away in the deluge of rains. On the path that goes down the steep hill, it gets quite wet (with a little stream going nearby) if you veer to the trail on the right. Still, it’s a lovely place to take your pup for a walk or hike with a friend.TIP—> trash cans are in the center of the parking lot. Please use for puppy poo disposal.TIP—> this park is lovely at dawn and dusk.TIP—> there is poison ivy on some of the trails. Be aware! Stay away from leaves of three!

Went here last week. It has a very extensive and a little confusing trail system. I was often confused if I was crossing segments of private property. Still, there were lots of cool things to see. I almost stepped on a snake on one of the trails. Theres one part where there appears to be a bridge leading to nowhere. However, I had a good experience and look forward to future development of this park.

A rare 57° day in December and a perfect time to explore this park. Sections were wet but navigable, a walking stick would have been helpful. A quiet place to enjoy nature. There is a wide, paved path or you can venture down a gravel path to walk along the creek and through the woods.

Gorgeous day spent on the trails! Its been wet this year, so be warned that you may run into muddy sections in the lower parts of the scenic path, but the hike was absolutely worth it. Varied elevation and winding, interconnected trailways made for a brisk workout. And dog-friendly with strategically-placed bins for waste near the parking lot.

Very scenic park that seems like a secret getaway. Minutes from bustling East Beltline, secluded and. Very large. When you park go left when you start walking then the entrance to the woods is on the right. We saw bicyclists and many people hiking. Would be great for dogs. Ponds, streams, fields, great views.
