The grandkids like coming here. They love the idea of walking around and then playing in the playground

Nice Park... Its improved much in recent years with the addition of workout stations along the parks walkway... Lots of green, the water is always comforting, and the restrooms are sanitary.. Peace and grace to everyone.

Sweet little river town park. Nice playgrounds, bathrooms are nice and they even have exercise stations. Great view and leads to the historic 6th st bridge.

Great little park with tables and seating by the Grand River in/near downtown Grand Rapids. Watch the sunset, walk your dog, lets kids play in the playground area, and there are even a couple of pieces of exercise equipment for adults! There are restaurants across the street if you’d like a drink or bite to eat.

A little dirty but a good sitting spot

Beautiful bridge with a lot of activity. Would be a great spot to take photos. The trails are nicely paved with fun workout stations along the way.

With the snow all around we were the only ones that were there. Great place.

Beautiful here, I walked around a bit and looked at the water rushing by. Its was near dusk and simply stunning. Should of taken a picture lol next time I will..located just outside Dt, Gr..very pretty area and lots to do near by...awesome park awesome place ..#michigan

GR has done an incredible job creating a park for all intents and purposes from Fulton St all the way to Leonard along the East shore of the Grand river with educational information about Grand Rapids in general and our beautiful Grand River...if only peple could realize what is offered and told about Grand Rapids and the river maybe we could find those blue waters from the past that used to flow to our Great Lakes... .

I like to take my kids here for 4th of july. we pack a cooler, hang out for the day at the park, and then walk closer to downtown when the fireworks are close to starting. when they are all over we walk back to the car. by that time the traffic has calmed down and when we get home every one falls asleep without problems :-)

We got a parking ticket while sitting in the car. She didnt ask us to leave just walked behind the car and began to write us a ticket.
