Kristin was wonderful to work with! She made the process so easy and was very helpful on our walkthroughs, and her communication is a 10/10! the Lit is a gorgeous and very unique venue, I highly recommend! unfortunately we had to cancel our reception there due to everything going on, but kristin and rob were beyond gracious in working through that with us, and we were still able to grab wedding pictures there, I cant thank them enough!photos by Intricate Exposures

The Lit is an absolutely beautiful venue. They made our wedding day go flawlessly. Everything was so easy to plan with them. We planned our wedding within 4 months and it went perfect. They were so accommodating when it came to decorating and answering any questions. The price was right and they are so flexible with which food vendors we wanted to use. Even when unexpected things came up they handled them quickly and efficiantly. They helped us plan how the evening would run, so that we could creat the ambience we were aiming for. Rob and Kristen are very nice and super fun to work with. The location is great for it being downtown and having limited parking. Its not too busy of a street, so street parking is easy to find. Thank you Rob and Kristen for making our day so much fun.

Huge dance floor. They will accommodate anything you need. Line dancing on Wednesdays once a month. Keep an eye on the postings.

Decent sized room.Pictures are old and a little revealing.There is a stage. Room to dance. Sound booth upstairs and lights pointed toward the stairs.

An amazing venue that combines historic elegance like an authentic Tiffany stained-glass window with modern twists like cove lighting! Cant wait to check it out again.

This place is no longer a club for ladies literary. I saw no ladies reading at all in this place. The building is interesting so that makes up for it. And it has a Tiffany window, so that is fancy. The sound is nice in the auditorium for shows and events hosted there. Besides the misnomer, it is a reasonable venue.

This is a beautiful old building with a lot of character. The seating is tight, but comfortable. There is no privacy in the mens bathroom and the urinals are very awkward.

Nice small venue, great for smell concerts and such. The stained glass window is amazing. Has a strange antique double urinal in the mens restroom. Free parking across the street!The seats are uncomfortable and there is no air-conditioning- the negatives.

This is a fantastic venue. So close to downtown and so different from whatever else you can find around GR.

My girlfriend and I and another couple came here to watch River City Improv and had a blast! This is an awesome historical building with a ton of charm. RCI is a class act and if you ever get a chance to see them by all means do! I have seen them twice and always have fun.

Great little venue in an old house in downtown GR... Ive seen some great small concerts here and a few of the River City improv shows...always a good time.
