Enjoyed a great experience & a dream come true getting to fly the famous World War II Bomber - the mighty B-25 Mitchell. This once in a lifetime experience is only possible due to all the great folks at the Delaware Aviation Museum Foundation who make it their mission to keep this historic airplane flying. Affectionately named “Panchito,” this plane is also available for living history rides and tours the country to attend events and airshows! Thanks to everyone there at the museum foundation for an amazing flight experience! JPW SIC #53
Impressive amount of things to look at from planes and military Jeep to ongoing projects. Great fun and learning experience for my brother excited grandson! He was really amazed that he was able to get so close to the planes and military Jeep. The staff was friendly and tailored throw presentation to a young childs level.
Marvelous old planes. Knowledgeable people there. Beautiful Chrissy had cooked wonderful food.
Fantastic place very knowledgeable and friendly volunteers.
Free parking, free admission. Awesome displays. However, I was highly disappointed because you need a guide to view most of the planes. I understand they probably do this to prevent things getting ruined by people unsupervised but I didn’t want to spend hours with a tour guide. It would be better if you could see everything at your own leisure.
Wonderful museum for aviators to visit.
The Wings and Wheels Festival is a great time
Doesn’t get much better than this.
