Lovely place to visit for some rich history about the Georgetown & Scott County area. I definitely recommend it!

OK, its only Georgetown, so not much US history, war history, etc. But if you have an hour or two, visit. Its a real nice little museum. (Formally the historical Georgetown Post Office.). Nice displays and if you are interested in any part of the horse hobby or industry, this is a needed stop. If you can see if you can meet up with the curator. He is a huge wealth of Lexington, Georgetown and horse industry.
