Very nice relaxing dining experience. Menu has items youd find in a Sunday family dinner. Our server Amanda was very professional and attentive. Knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions. When were in this area well be back for Sunday dinner.

Great local golf course if only the staff in pro shop wasnt so rude!! But there is 1 guy there that is answer so the other members of staff make him look bad. Saturday before last the rain had let up for a few hours what ever me an my golf partner with there people where playing the back 9 twice cause is was dryer than the front... So this is big problem the pro shop attendtent told me am my friends only member are going out an playing cause it was a little wet but very playable so we go to walk out an 3 more guys we did not know said hit them good guys... We said She is only letting u members play today ( that is when they all 3 said we are not members) so the person working the pro shop that day lied to us about just letting members out the pro shop person there back to us an just let people she wanted to play

The staff were polite and quick to take drink orders. The food was delicious and there was a nice variety of sandwiches salads,⁵and soups.

My first visit and I was impressed with the variety of items on the buffet. The food was really good and the wait staff goes above and beyond. Loved the atmosphere. Will definitely go again.

Golf course was in terrible shape. Cart paths were like an old bumpy road. Greens were terrible. These guys need to spend some money here.

What a treat. The manor house was recently renovated and is beautiful. Perfect for a wedding, bridal shower or dinner. We had a delicious dinner tonight. I had the shrimp and grits and my husband had the pork chops, potatoes and succotash. The portions were very large. We could have ordered a lighter portion but I love leftovers.

L am from Pennsylvania. This is my first time playing this course. It is a very challenging course. I enjoyed myself very much playing this course. I heard it was under new ownership. They are doing alot of new up keep to the course. New sand in almost all sand traps. They are still working on the remainder of them. The course is very much reasonable in price for golfing in March. I would recommend this course highly to anyone.

Delicious lunch today at the Manor House. Matt is a creative chef and Sissy and all the waitresses are top-notch n friendly. We really enjoyed.

Played today, honestly, worst course on the grand strand. Fairways were like pastures, weeds, bare spots, greens, very inconsistent. Some havent been mowed for a couple days, some dried out. They must flip a coin to see which tee boxes get mowed. Restaurant closed at 230. We had 25 guys that would have liked a bite and a beer, we were told we should have got something at the turn, WITH AN ATTITUDE! I definitely wont be back!

Southern cooking at its finest. Manager tries to please. Beautiful historic renovated restaurant on lovely plantation/country club atmosphere under gigantic live oak trees.

Friendly and caring new staff and management. Food was suberb, attentive server, very reasonable prices for excellent quality and more than sufficient servings. Working exceedingly hard to get the golf course back in tournament shape by July 1st. Try supporting a local American owned golf course instead of the Chinese conglomerate!

Renovation of the club house is completed and open. The food is great. Renovation work on the golf course is underway which will include new greens with opening in late spring/early summer.

Beautiful scenery for prom pictures

The greens are a mix of dirt and rough Bermuda. the fairways are ok and the tee boxes are terrible. I just played a tournament there, one of four days. One tee box teeing area was 12 wide with an 28 drop so it looked like a bowl. The other side of the tee box was nice and flat and had no divots out of it so they had kept the tee box in this area for the whole tournament. Amazing that you are showcasing your course to 72 golfers for 4 days and this is the way you present it. I would never waste my money to go down there.

We had a delicious lunch! The Winyah Bay chowder was a hit!
