Course in great condition. Lots of grass on the fairways. Greens are true.

The course is spectacular! Hands down a well taken care of golf course that is great to play! This is my second time there, but I dont know if I will be back? Why? I got a great deal for a round but was paired up with three guys and told to walk down and find 2 Asian and 1 Mexican guy down on the range. It was 1:10 and TT was 1:46. It took me 30 mins to find these guys and then I had to rush to get my gear, get to the box...was totally rushed and it hampered my round big time. I am an active duty Army Chaplain and drove down from Fort Hood, and didnt appreciate how this was handled. Once again, the course is amazing. Thank you for having such great coolers of water and bathrooms; very classy! I am just thrown off why this was handled like this, and wish I could have enjoyed the round a little more. An update from our visit to anyone wishing to play golf here, hit some balls, or chip and putt.They are only allowing Sun City Residents to be on and around the course due to COVID19.

Staff was more than accommodating for our large group. We felt very welcome from the pro shop to the Marshall. The course is in phenomenal shape and the greens were in great shape. Green speeds were a little slower than we are used to but they roll true.

Course was great! Greens were slow and long I assume to keep them alive in this heat. Theres always a few residents who are not to friendly to our non white group. They ruin it for the rest of the nice residents.

Cowan creek lost nine greens to a mold issue in early 2019. Maintenance staff is constantly punching and sanding greens. They are now doing it 4-6 times a year. They use sand with little stones to too dress the greens. If you want bad putting, thin lies and a 5+ hour round this is the place for you.

Great course. Its in decent shape, and the layout was great. The greens had excellent roll, but the pace of play was slow due to the foursome in front of me. As a single, i was hoping they would wave me through, but it never happened. Luckily, the called it after 9. Overall, great course & friendly people.

One of the staff members was incredibly rude and unaccommodating. Our issue wasnt resolved until the manger heard the clerk and i arguing, he stepped in and provided a simple solution. other than that the course layout was nice. The greens were unreasonably bumpy. This was my first time playing the course and Probably the last. There are alot of great courses in the area Cowan Creek will be at the bottom of my list.

Cowan Creek is the newest golf course in Sun City - opened in 2012 (?) or thereabouts. Excellent fairways and greens. Fairways have improved since some drainage problems have solved. Greens have always been excellent and fast. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Love this course. Played last weekend, only $40 with a cart. Not crowded at all. Layout is great, conditions were great and the wildlife is unreal. I must have seen 50 dear and turkeys. I think they would have eaten out of my hand if I chose too feed them. The course is not overly difficult so its great for the average golfer. Only draw back is no food or beverage....BYOB. Highly recommend.

I liked the fast passed greens. It was a very good course. You get a small bucket of balls to hit, before you get to course up. I would definitely recommend this course if you want a very good round of golf.

It is a challenging course, particularly from the gold tees. Once I extend my distance, I will try the black tees.The practice areas are generous, well maintained, and conducive to improvement improved one applies care to practice correct setup, swing mechanics, as well as developing a fine touch on the practice green.

Winter golf on this course is poor. Very short fairway grass leads to lots of mud. Cart path only many days.

Inexpensive and well maintained overall. Bald spots on many holes. Greens are good at last round.

Challenging course. Requisite numer of traps that are well placed.

Cart path only, but played 18 in 2 1/2 hours. 1pm shotgun start. Learned the local residents avoid cart path only days, so course was relatively empty. Bunker renovations underway on several holes including 18, which is temporarily a 140 yard hole.

I love my instructor, Josh! Have not been on the course. Staff at Cowan Creek much more friendly than 2-other Sun City courses.

Nice course in Sun City. Easiest of the three. Make sure to BYOB, no cart service here.

Facilities are nice and clean. Sits a little higher than the other golf courses so it has nice views.

I didnt expect it to be as nice as it is. Its a shorter course, but still really nice. Definitely worth the 25-30 minute drive from North Central Austin.
