Excellent golf course. Several challenging holes. Driver may not be best choice on some holes.

No range or practice area... Front 9 has 1 par 5 and 3 par 3s and honestly plays easy ( #3 though with ob left and water down the whole right side canplay tough so keep it in play or a big number can easily go on your card ).... Back 9 is much tougher and overall a much better layout, #11 is a fun downhill par 3 and the green has a ton of slope so depending on the pin location and where you hit your tee shot can get interesting, #15 a very solid tight par 4....course condition a coin toss... BEST THING ABOUT THIS COURSE IS THE MEMBERS!! WEDNESDAY NIGHT LEAGUE PRETTY SWEET TOO

I love tight courses. Its nice and green. Watch out for 15 Thursday 17. Those holes can ruin around.

Coarse in good shape

The course is fine, but the tee boxes are always in terrible condition. The grass on the tee box should not be longer than the fairway grass.....I have played this course many times it the past several years and have rarely found the tee boxes in acceptable. If you are coming to georgetown I would recommend longview or cherry blossom golf course any day over canewood.

Always a pleasure to play Canewood. A good course for the weekend golfer.
