Maya fresno pros: nice place. lots of restaurants nearby. stadium seating. cons: seats dont recline. has open captioning instead of closed captioning which was annoying because someone requested subtitles which was distracting. closed captioning devices would be much better

This is a great Theater. The seats were comfortable. The place was clean. The employees were very nice and friendly. The bathrooms were clean. I loved the dryer with the ultra violet light. The sound quality was great! I would go back again and again. They do need more parking. We had to walk a little far.

Very nice theater! We had a great time athe the new Superman movie - London Coming Home. The chairs are big and comfy, but not the new reclining chairs like at Sierra Vista and no tables. Still very nice though and in the center of all the restaurants.

Watched Disney Pixar Movie Onward it was very good. Like going to Maya Cinemas there are so many great Restaurants around there. From Pizza to Burgers and Mexican to Chinese.

Maya is excellent for watching the latest movie the way it should be watched: in a state of the art cinema. We thoroughly enjoyed the latest Little Women last night...cozy & comfy with a big screen & perfect sound. Really enjoyed the whole experience!

So I didnt attend the movie theater but I have before and its nice. This time I was just outside the theater enjoying the Rock the Mall band. The set up was perfect. The weather couldnt of been better. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. The location is great. Looking forward to many more summer nights here. Love the restaurant food options and the ice cream or frozen yogurt options. If youre looking for a relaxing night with good music, dancing, and surrounded by friendly guests then this is the place to be. Bring your own chair and or blanket.

I love the aesthetic of this place. Plus the tickets are only 5.50 on Tuesdays. Everything is fast so you can get right to your seat.

Ugh! The seats are awful. You can let the arm test up but its super awkward tho snuggle because of the strange hump on the lifted armrest. The stadium seating goes up but the screen is always too close, even asy the very top. Have to arrive really early in order to get a good seat location. Parking is horrendous. But there are plenty of surrounding restaurant options & enjoy discount Tuesday.

For time visiting on March 11, 2020. My family and I really enjoyed the movie and the environment.

Comfortable seats, nice arm rests, great sound system, and a nice crowd of people who come to see first run movies.

The theater is good but parking security is jumpy. The like to give out parking violation tickets super quickly. I parked at 6:55pm and got written up for event parking at 7:05pm while I was walking into my movie. Make sure you have your receipts or get a $40 ticket for no reason.

Went to see a movie here, after dinner for a date night with my wife. The facility is clean and well maintained, so the experience was good. Overall... good job!

This is by far the BEST movie experience Ive ever had. The theater has great seat and self serve pop. They even have lime and hor sauce for your popcorn. To die for.

Enjoyed my experience. The service is great the place is nice and clean but I you are used to reclining seats like at Galaxy in tulare or Coyote Entertainment..then this will be a miss. Other than that great place to watch cinema.

Good theater. Nice restrooms. Nice sinks to wash and dry hands at. Seats cannot recline. Kind of a bummer if youve been to theaters with assigned seating and reclining seats.

Absolutely horrible experience!!! I have asked the manager to ask the people that brought their baby into a movie to leave.It is frustrating when there is a baby crawling and grabbing food/ yelling during a movie. Then the so called guest service wouldnt refund the money I spent there.

Love this place to see movies . We drive an extra few miles just to go here. Staff are always very helpful and seen to be happy at what they are doing.

We love Maya theater. They have Tuesday deals and reserved seating. When you buy your tickets online they have a kiosk to admit you. You also can your own butter to your popcorn which is really nice.

The cinema would be any typically one and would recommend to come to this one if you dont yourself buying too many things from the concession stand as their menu is small and limited.

Great theater with good cushioned seats. However, they should add the reclining seats. I know that would mean less seating but they would provide more space in between others.

Not a bad theater for the most part. Although the non recliner seats kinda suck and arent very comfy. Also the floors by the concession stand were very sticky and ditry, but it was a Saturday night so figure they were busy.....

Mostly good, but seats are chosen when buying tickets so it would be nice if the seats and armrests/cup holders were wiped down between shows. Ours had drips and sticky on them. Luckily I had a handy wipe in my purse.

This theater is a growing one. I LOVE the crying room option. I have a baby and we are actually able to take him and not worry about disrupting other guests. Also the discounts for family Tuesdays a awesome I have a big family so being able to take the whole family without taking out a loan is great. Managers are helpful there has been times we had to change our tickets and it is no hassle. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the option to buy alcohol Ive became accustomed to it in other theaters.

The theater was a smaller room and you could hear people talking. Regal in Riverpark has better acoustics and when in the smaller theaters, you cant hear people when they whisper to each other.

So in certain places you have to take the good with the bad. now with Maya cinemas you have to realize in comparison and contrast to other movie theaters their chairs are quite smaller the theaters themselves feel quite smaller and being that they are quite smaller the line seem longer and a little unnecessary. its not all bad though the staff is super friendly paying for tickets via Fandango or any kind of app makes the experience pretty easy. I definitely recommend it

Parking here is terrible, and the seats in the cinema could use an upgrade. This area can get crowded quick, and it is best to avoid this cinema on a busy night if you do not like being surrounded by a bunch of college kids.

Clean,comfortable setting, only thing I didnt like was the popcorn even though it was made fresh, when you add the butter it gets cold, I guess the butter is not hot enough, like warm at best, other than that, its all good

First time at this movie theater because it was in the area, but most likely will not return. The ticket prices were on the expensive side, and the movie theater experience was mediocre. Auditorium is old, and does not offer power adjustable seats which should be available for a movie ticket that was close to 14 dollars. There are better movie theaters in town that offer better equipment and customer service for a lower price.

Saw Avengers End Game here on (I didnt know this) Tuesday- Family Day and I thought I would be annoyed by kids the whole time (my own fault) but it turned out to be a great experience. It was my first time there and Ill absolutely go back for every movie in the future. The concession prices were also lower than I expected so that was nice.

The Maya Cinemas is by far the best theater I have ever been to! It has tables and chairs in sitting rooms for people to chill and wait if they need to. Staff is nice. They have a guest service area. My sister has misphonia so guest services gave her headphones, so she wouldnt be bothered by other noises. They have that soda machine with a hundred of options! And they have clean bathrooms. Their hand dryers and sinks look so modern. Theyre also a cheaper theater and everyone loves them or should love them!

We love this theater, it was not crowded when we went. It was very clean, the staff was friendly. The concessions are a little pricey like most theatres are but not as high as some others.

So loud that it was physically painful. Kid cried. Put in earplugs and it was still too loud. Guess this is the place to be if you are hard of hearing but otherwise I suggest any other theater.

Went to a movie here on Sunday night and the seating was exceptionally dirty. I saw several men leave with clipboards, a sign that read cleaning but when I went to my seats their was an inch of liquid in the cupholder and the seats were sticky. Asked for new seats, and they accomidated, but really, shouldnt management care about cleaning up? Revenue, reputation, and respect. Get it together please

Maya has easily become my favorite theater to go too. The parking kinda sucks but its not terrible. The theater also seems clean when I go. They have comfortable seating and soda machine with all the different flavors and types to fill at your choice. A big up to this theater is also whats around it. A nice compact area that offers a good mix of restaurants.

Incredibly big theater and clean in the common areas. The arms of the chairs are a bit early and there is some candy sticking to the ground.

These guys have it right. Not too overcrowded and on the busy nights they open all the registers and get you through the concession stand quickly. The self serve soda machine offers thousands of options and they offer exclusive Dr. Pepper Icees!! Catch anything in the MPX or Dolby Atmos Auditorium, you wont be dissapointed!

Nice place. Good atmosphere. How ever, recently we bought tickets for End game 3 days in advance. I would hope since we had our tickets we could wait INSIDE. Not so. We were told to go outside. We were placed in a line that was right in the sun. It was hot! Why couldnt we wait INSIDE? Not cool

I still dont understand why the concessions are so high if you pay so much at the door for one movie.Best to go to the Madera Drive In, adults pay 10 dollars and, and you get two movies, take your own tasty treats, and beverages. In case you dont want to go to the snack bar..

Other than having to wait 40 minutes to see a movie because the one before it ran late, it was good. Great customer service, kept us up to date on the wait. They could use some benches along the hallways for people to sit.

Now with reserved seating like all the other cinemas i will use it more often. Yes, its not as luxurious as Sierra vista but their sound system is better. It isnt as muddled sounding as sierra and the clarity is very evident. And its miled ahrad of Edwards and their gimmick cinemas

The young lady at counter heavyset possibly Hispanic had a very mocking tone and look. I don’t usually go theaters where seats are reversed, asked the young woman, “ are the light blue numbers the available seats?” She answered “yes” then when I picked two seats she laughed and rolled her eyes as she looked at coworker. It was the opposite of what I asked her grey were the available seats. Very unprofessional and juvenile

Love this place they are friendly love the theaters good popcorn and best of all the soda refill machines are out on the floor

I like this theater best. Lines are usually fairly short for tickets and consessions and move quickly. Minimal waiting for refills since you get to dispense your own soda and they often sell reusuable cups you can keep. The chairs are still very nice though i dont always enjoy some of the seats - like when i wear a skirt and my skin sticks. The theaters with larger screens (mpx) have extra large seats with armrests which can support your food purchase and drinkholders.
