Not worth it right now. I love the museum but right now they have 4 rooms open and some cages with reptiles and one craft. I’ll wait to go back until there is more to do. Oh and then the parking wasn’t validating my paper so I had to wait about 15 mins to get out of the parking lot.

We spent a large chunk of our day here while visiting for an event. It’s a smaller space, but there’s so much to do, that it would be difficult to get bored. Great for kids!

I’m so disappointed with their service. We paid for the pajama party and we had to cancel due to an illness. Called multiple times to cancel the day of, no answer. Even calling today had to wait 15 min to get a representative. Jessica refused to be sympathetic to help us come up with a solution. We paid $80, all we asked was to see another viewing. They refused to help. Huge disappointment as we do this every year. Customer service has gone down. Their approach was not sympathetic at all.

I vaguely remember coming to a magical place on a field trip when I was a little kid, where there was a movie of space and Earth playing on a screen so big it stretched to the ceiling. I asked about this place for years but was never able to figure out just where I went until my sweet boyfriend asked if I was interested in seeing a movie there. Unbelievable. Suddenly I was 9 again.

We visited the Childrens Museum and the Apollo Exhibit. My grandchildren absolutely loved this place. This museum has so many hands on activities for children, including outside water activities. They also have a 3D movie in which the seats shake and roll about the Barnett Shale and how it developed. They have real dinosaur skeletons assembled, and a wonderful exhibit on space and Apollo 11, and much;, much more. You could spend an hour or all day or 2 days in this museum.

Ive come here multiple times in my time in Texas. We came here a lot in grade school for school trips and the shows we saw were always educational and inviting.Todays show was about rescue dogs... And as awesome as rescue dogs are... I found myself bored and half falling asleep. My suggestion is to play the popular and more educational films... The Apollo is cool and so is the water themed ones. The rest of the place is awesome to look at, read about and walk around. Plenty of spots for kids too!

Great place, especially for those with young kids. Drove in from Dallas and spent the whole day here, and could have stayed longer! The 6 year old boy I take care of loved all of the interactive activities, not to mention the IMAX Dome which just can’t be beat! I highly recommend coming out here, even if it’s a bit of a drive. Totally worth the trip!!!

Recently took our grandkids to this museum, but have to say I was somewhat disappointed with the changes over the last several years. I think this museum had more to offer in past years. Wish there were more actual dinosaur fossils. I remember that being so amazing when my kids were small. We waited in line upstairs to see the planetarium only to be told we had to go back downstairs to buy tickets. This caused us to miss the showing. Would be nice to be able to purchase a ticket in that area.

We won’t go to the museum again or the planetarium. The lady presenting actually claimed dinosaurs turned into birds?? No ma’am. The dinosaurs died in the great flood. Species don’t form into other species and man did not come from ape we came from the dust on the ground when God formed man into His image and breathed life into him. Don’t push your ideology on innocent children.

Museum is always good fun for the kids. I highly recommend getting the discover membership and you can get one that gets you into perot museum too. Also be aware that during the stockyards season parking will be packed. I do not recommend the cafe if you want more than crisps and bottles of soda (which are also overpriced).

Would not recommend. Its a glorified daycare. Unsupervised children were running around everywhere, the exhibits werent interesting or enlightening. That was a waste of $42 (for 2 adults, including parking)

Its a unique experience to say the least. I will say that its probably better with movies that are meant to be shown on the dome. The sound is incredible and the theater itself is cool, but I found myself annoyed by the lines on the screen from the sections joining together. Again, incredible for things meant to be on that screen and I would highly suggest experiencing it (I. E. Tornado and space documentary films). But I wouldnt suggest it being the go to for big budget blockbusters.

Its been years since Ive been to the Omni Theatre, but a friend of mine has never been. So much has changed it was difficult to find the entrance to the theatre. It was 5-9$ just to park. The theatre chairs arent friendly for people with wide hips and are very uncomfortable. The picture was alright, but you can easily become distracted by the lines in the wall or the movement of the video. It is a unique theatre, but I would just rather go to a normal one. The museum is a great spot for children and always has events.

Was okay. I did like the Day of the dead display. I wasnt impressed with the rest. We did see an Imax movie over there. Movie, museum and parking. Some popcorn 2 drinks, 2 adult people $70 I think its more for people with kids, not that much for adults except for the movie part. I was not interested in cattle stuff.

The museum itself was great. I did not appreciate the museum staff. I took some kids there for a field trip and I was given conflicting information about where we could eat. We took another group of kids the day before, and they were able to eat inside the museum in the caf. When we went, we were told we had to picnic outside in the grass. There were people who had brought outside food and they were eating inside the courtyard (that had shade). When we tried to go there, we were sent away to the grass. Mind you, there is ZERO shade outside and it was well over 100 degrees. They should be more accommodating, especially when the weather is so severe. Very frustrating to have 30 4 year olds be outside in that heat.

Mixed emotions. The experience is definitely unforgettable, it is something you should try at least once to see how YOU feel about it. I watched Dunkirk and felt unpleasant, even sick at times, even though I never get car sick. Maybe it is just about this particular movie and the way it was filmed to make it more intense.

Awesome sound and picture quality. The movies formatted specially for the dome are obviously a better experience VS movies made for traditional screens. This is also reflected in the price. The facility is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The price point for the regular Hollywood movies is the same as any other IMAX in DFW. Overall it was a treat.

If you dont mind your neck hurting, then go see a movie here-especially a long one, like Star Wars. If you also enjoy touching your neighbors every single way-a neighbor on your left and right, below you and above you-bc you are laying back in the most awkward position ever in order to watch the movie, then youll feel right at home!!! Theatre seats are terribly small and terribly uncomfortable. I feel like I actually need to go see Star Wars again, bc I kept having to sit up, stretch, and most of all, close my eyes for every Fast-paced scene, because youre in the worst position possible and youre right on the screen. Also, we paid $9 for parking, in addition to the cost of our tickets. Crazy ridiculous.Word of Advice? Do NOT GO HERE for a movie!!!!

If there is any chance of inclement weather, be prepared for the theater to close with notice posted on their phone number. On 1/1/2018 at 430p, the theater closed due to ice on the roads on 12/31/2017 at 12p that subsequently melted. There was no localized ice in the area on the day of or in the area.I arrived at the theater only for it to be closed. Palace AMC 9 in Ft. Worth was open, and I drove there to watch the movie.2 stars as IMAX was willing to offer me a refund when I called into the day afterwards. No other theaters in the area closed for inclement weather. Omni seemed to be the outlier.

This is not IMAX its OMNIMAX. Very different and I feel like false advertising. This is a planetarium they show movies on. If you get car sick do not go see a movie here.As a few other people said too the seats are small and uncomfortable. The incline is incredibly steep too, so you are literally on top of each other with someones feet directly behind your head.I wouldnt go back.

Way over priced and you have to pay to park, that is crap, because anything you do here you have to pay for when you get in the building. Plus we wanted to go to the museum and they were fixing to close and it was like 5pm. Use to come here as a kid all the time, but with what it cost we no longer go. My son wanted to go to the Omni for his birthday because it was his day.
