Really nice place to go with the family. Safe, convenient parking spaces, clean, a lot of ways to spend a day out.They will confiscate any alcoholic beverages so do not take them with you. But they have grills, air hose, tables, chairs, so you can cook of buy their food, not many options, you can take all that you and your family like in or out a cooler.The police is there to ensure that everyone is conducting themselves correctly and not alcohol is consumed as per their regulations.Of course, during the pandemic, you must wear a face covering mask when social distance is not possible, out of the water and at the vendors stands.

Price is fair for entry. Lots of parking space. Picnic tables. Grills. Covered seating area by the water. Place is fun to go spend a hot day at. Decent size. Water is a wierd color but i believe this is spring fed. They have diving boards and slides which are fun! Would recommend to try at least once.

The lake is so cold. And feels great. The water sprays and flowing water is awesome! They do yell quite often over the loud speaker about rules that arent posted but you are suppose to know. Dont jump there. Dont stand here. Dont run around. It seems silly. And I hate being yelled at. They werent yelling at us but in general constantly yelling at people are very annoying and unnerving

Family friendly place, plenty of parking and trees for shades. Burger and pizza is good management is serious about the no alcohol policy. Police on a buggy cruises through the park regularly that deters wrong doing. Cant wait to go back. Its a jem, best for gaol gate party. Plenty of space in the lake controlled at least 20 life guards communicating through radio and announcements with a pa system. not far from Dallas. I wish I knew. I can say a whole lot more about this place ...plenty of slides jumping board and sports activity at least 3 volley ball courts swings for kids you are seconds from your car.

Great place for family and friends. They have shaded areas, picnic tables, grills, and lounge chairs. $15 per person above the age of 7, I believe and $5 for 6 and younger. Youre allowed to take coolers with your own food but they also sell food there as well. Floats are available for rent but you can also take your own.

Fun day with the family for a birthday party. Come early for a waterside location. Life guards are Special needs friendly and accommodating. Happy with Mariah (lifeguard) and her chief of staff. So fun!♡

Best lake I have visited in Texas. Water is clean and fresh. There place is clean around and have so many ways to have fun. I highly recommend it.

Awesome place with a lot of things to do, if you’re with friends or family. Snack bar has a lot of options but, remember to pack the sun screen. Thought it may seem that way, there is not much shade at the beaches or the water. Watch out for ants around the picnic tables, but nothing to be paranoid about.

We just moved to Texas in June from Michigan and the Deli clerk at Kroger told me about this place. I really appreciate her because this place was so fun. It was like being at a Lake/Beach/ water park. So unique and fun for all ages especially children. We had a picnic lunch but you can BBQ there and admission price was not expensive. We will definitely be back.

Had a blast! Lifeguards on duty keeping a great watch. They have safety meetings so it makes you feel secure. Have police keeping watch. Great place to get away and have some fun.

Cool Big Pond, literally. Feels good though in the TX. Hot summer. Has slides , diving boards, trapeze swing, fountains, etc... The staff there run a very good swimming experience. Well trained. Bring your own food and grill. Plenty of Big shade trees and picnic areas. Highly recommend !!!

My mom has taken me to Burgers since I was 6 months old. Every summer this place is my reward for a successful school year and I celebrated 5 birthdays there. No matter where I end up in this big world Burgers Lake will be the most magical place of my childhood! Thanks Mom for being so cool and thanks burgers for staying open so we could creating magical memories..

Cute little swimming hole. Great place to bring the whole family. Plenty of picnic tables and grills. Snack shack available. Over tubes also available to rent. Life guards are very aware of what everyone is doing.

We had so much fun! It was my first time to go. We got there right when it opened and got a good spot. I really like that everything is in one spot and visible. The kids had a blast. Concessions werent way overpriced and they were very good. Lots of seating.

Love this place! The Lifeguards are so active. Makes me feel secure while in the water. Last time I was there a kiddo jumped off not knowing how to swim apparently. As soon I a heard screaming with in secs I saw 3 life guards rushing over. Super fast reactions from them. Hope this helps someone.

As a first time visitor to Dallas, I have to say I loved it! Lots of fun for kids, the cannon tubes shooting water is a brilliant concept and was a BIG hit with all of us. A clean beach area combined with clean refreshing water to swim in felt delightful. I also took note that the lifeguards were seriously watching over the kids , a most important part of any venue that includes water. We had 10 little ones with us so we all appreciated that their focus was on safety. The numerous grilling areas and shade covered picnic tables were a huge plus for our large family of 22! Being the delicate flower that I am, if there was a negative it would be that it was as hot as a jalapeno! We loved our visit!

First time here. This is a fantastic little hidden gem of a water park. It has fun slides for all ages, trapiese swing, snack shack. Lots of space with plenty of beach chairs. We will be back soon with more friends!

Amazing little water hole to swim in. This man made lake is perfect for anyone looking for cool and cleaner than your average lake would be.It wasnt too crowded for it being as hot as it was, I never felt like I didnt have room to move around.They have multiple thing to keep older and younger people happy. The trapeze swing was especially fun! They had multiple diving board with multiple heights as well as slide big enough for adults and small enough for toddlers.I did not try their food, but it looks like good concession food.

Its still the wonderful little family friendly swimming hole I remember as a kid 30 years ago. Theres some upgrades here and there but nothing that takes away from the simple joy. Bring a picnic or even grill out to really complete the trip though there is a store on site. The 2020 prices are $5 for 6 and under and 15 for 7 and up.

Ive been taking my family here for twenty five years. Sun, sand, and diving boards in a man made lake! Best beach around with water slides, concession stands and grilling stations. Dont want to swim? Play volleyball! Great place for birthday parties!

We had so much fun! All the life guards were friendly and very good at their jobs, the waters clean and they have life vests for the little ones! Wish I had know about this place sooner since we were just visiting for the weekend and don’t live around here.

I have gone to Burgers Lake on occasions since I was a kid. I went there July 23, 2020 and for the first time I was disturbed at what I saw. We went all the way around to the #1 picnic table area which is right next to the creek in the back of the park. There was trash, litter, charcoal, brush, and God knows what else that had been pushed right up to the edge of the creek. I cant understand why all this trash wasnt properly disposed of. The whole area next to that creek needs to be cleaned up.

Burger lake is a blast! Everyone older to kids will have a great time here! There is something for everyone here and more. Always good times here, I definitely recommend this place.

I loved the different slides, diving boards, and swing they had in the lake. Plus they had inner tubes and volleyballs for rent at reasonable prices. They also did safety checks twice a day to help you make sure you didnt lose anyone in your party. Had a great time!

ALWAYS a great time!! First time taking my boyfriend and his son with my daughter and I, theyre from GA, and we had a blast. Its y favorite to spend a day off! Load up coolers with drinks n food and we are off! We live over an hour away and its worth it!! Lifeguards are on top of their game and the entire staff makes it safe and fun. $60 for a family of 4 for alllllll day fun- totally worth it!! Great family time

Pretty cool place, lake with a pinch of sand, shade in the trees. The lake has different areas, with a swing where you let go, slide tubes, wading areas, bathrooms, rinse areas, wash hands stations with soap, and lots of land for you to pick a spot and park with benches and BBQ pits. $15 USD per person, $5.00 USD children 6 and under. No alcohol, but pretty cool place. You can buy things to eat and drink, however most bring their own food to cook, picnic style, bbq/grilling spreads, and bring their coolers for food and water of your desire. Some bring their own chairs, tables to set up, and also canopy tents for extra shade and covering. Its really nice and pretty spread out so families are not really on top of each other.

They take safety very seriously and it was appreciated! Every few hours they have everyone return to their parties meeting place and do a headcount. They make sure others watch their children and do not tolerate Rowdy Behavior. No alcohol permitted, Park was clean. Outside food permitted but snack bar with burgers and snacks was available as well.

We went to Burgers Lake the weekend after it opened from the COVID19 closures. There were absolutely no precautions put into place for social distancing or mask wearing. I did not feel safe at all and ended up leaving early because the stream of vehicles being allowed entry was never ending and I knew it was going to get worse as the day went on. I love coming here but it was very disappointing that they had such little care of the patrons safety in regards to the pandemic.

Took my boys last Saturday and we all enjoyed it. Very clean, seating is spaced out, and water wasnt packed. Very nice family place. Definitely going back!

I absolutely LOVE this place. I also love how strict they are and how the employees are always watching and calling people out through the intercom if they see something or someone doing something they are not suppose to be doing.

Kinda pricy for a large family and our bad we didnt check closing time so we paid 100 for 3 hours but honestly the life guards are the best! Very family oriented and theyre quick to find a missing/ misplaced kid. FYI 15 per person over 5yo

I traveled from Abilene to swim, and enjoy the fresh air with family. My experience was ruined first off when we got there and got settled because we could literally hear one of the lifeguards yelling like a drill Sargent at the children, AND ADULTS. one of the staff, followed my family around to bully someone in the group. We fairly, stood up for ourselves, and tried to avoid this girl. She lied and said we cursed at her, AND HAD US KICKED OUT.!!! Two officers followed us all the way out. But she clearly has no life and hates her job. y’all have lost my business behind the rude staff.

Our family loves this chlorinated lake. During summer months, my family and I go to the lake once a week. We always have a great time. You can purchase food there, or bring your own food.

I love that they do security checks. They have u gather ur family members and do a head count to see if all is there.If u plan on being here for the day, arrive early!!! The line to get in the gate builds up waaaaaay down the road but the wait is worth it! Dont park down the road and walk in, they might not let u in. Only if ur in a vehicle.If u go late be prepared to not have sitting. Bring ur own pit, chairs, shade and food. U can bring coolers so u dont have to eat from the snack bar which is alittle over priced with small portions.

Burgers Lake provides picnic tables, lounge chairs, charcoal grills, diving boards, slides, a trapeze, an air compressor to blow up your own toys, accessible parking, a special fenced in play area in the shade for younger kids, and a concession stand with reasonable prices or BYO cooler for $15 a person with discounts for kids 6 and under. Like most locals, we have many great memories of good times at Burgers Lake over the years and today was no exception.

For the price ($15) the experience was pretty amazing. Theres a swing, slides, and diving boards. Did I mention volleyball field (2), and a basketball court. Theres a big open field to play games or do an event. The place in general is great and the concessions arent overpriced, yay!

DO NOT attend burgers lake unless you are absolutely nasty because thats what this place has become. No mask or gloves being worn in the concession stand but dirty mall floating in the water as well as MAXI PADS! Lifeguards had to be told multiple times before removing from the water and management even said its normal and happens all the time!!! This place is trying to start a new pandemic absolutely disgusting!

Ended up here after trying to look for a place to swim in this really bad heat . The whole family enjoyed it. Its beach like and a public pool integrated together has diving boards one for little kids as well . Water looks very nice green blue color . Theres a lot of grills and benches . Childrens swimming vests available there.

It was nasty. The water had a gross smell and dark green. There was way too many people. There was NO social distancing. We will not be back.

The only swimming hole I know of that has diving boards -- both low and high. My teenage son and his friends really enjoy spending time here.

Love this place but whatever chemicals you are adding to the water to make it green is not very inviting.

They had a great menu but it was literally standing room only 2 days in a row.

The best spot for a family, no alcohol allowed, secured and very family friendly, A kid was lost and management stopped all activity andade parents do a head count and the kid was found under 3/minutes, awesome family first business next... Encore see you next year.

Burgers lake was amazing I went there with my softball team and we had an amazing experience .

The price of admission seems to be getting pretty high but you can get a little discount for groups of 25+. Its a very family friendly place and theyve certainly made improvements over the years. They dont allow alcohol, loud music or abusive language. They also have volleyball courts & built in bar-b-que pits. Get there early to claim the best spots!

Im so glad we found this place over the summer. Its such a cool lake to go to for the day. Our kids loved it. There are slides, diving boards, trapeze, splash pad, and so much more. There are also grills on site for cooking, as well as a concession stand to buy some snacks. We cant wait to go back for more.

I expected this place to be a lot bigger. I was disappointed at first but its a 4 star place. Its not a lake, its like a huge pool or pond. Plenty of grills to hang out and make cookout. I think this place should be an RV park or somewhere you can camp out.
