A wonderful little nature park. The day we went one of the trails was set up for a Story Walk. Multiple length trails. A couple of buildings with tables and such. An observation deck overlooking grasslands. A pioneer family cemetery is in woods on one of the trails. The parks dept hosts many activities throughout the year. Just a cool place.

This park is great. We were very disappointed to see the signs blatantly ignored by people taking family pictures and stomping down the wildlife though. There were 3 families with photographers doing as such and walking on the plants for that Fall Family pic everyone needs to have the best of.Other than people ignoring signage, this is a wonderful park.

If you love nature, woods, water adventuring then youll live this place, a great hiking experience, got to see some huge woodpeckers. The stream was clean, the whole place was very clean, and the bathrooms cleaner than any restaurant, gas station it even smelled super clean which you never get that at any park.

Pristine walking paths through woods, hills, ravines, fields of grass & wildlowers, even a tiny, 19th century graveyard. Always a variety of wildlife to view( deer, wild turkeys, herons, raccoons, an occasional coyote)... in Fishers, just a mile or so North of Indianapolis and a mile West of I-69! A gem of a place with modern restroom facilities, a picnic pavilion, and various opportunities to participate in nature-related programs or volunteering.Leashed dogs are welcome, but you must clean up after your pet.NO bikes.Leave nothing but footprints!

Its a really nice park, and seems like an excellent birding location! I also saw a couple of deer its very serene and easy to navigate!I would give it 5 stars if it had greater botanical diversity... though I realize thats probably not a common concern I also didnt get to see it at its best, with full streams and swamp areas!

It can be hard to get a walk in the woods right in the heart of suburbia. This park is so lovely and has areas maintained with the help of Hamilton County Master Gardeners! It comes with a cemetary. Best of all in my book, dogs are welcome!

Sweet, peaceful, lots of chippies and huge old trees. The old pioneer graveyard was fascinating. We googled the story behind it. Love it there.

I love that you can get a bit lost in the woods right in Fishers! It feels safe and cozy. 4 out of 5 stars due to the extremely loud planes from the Fishers Airport. Cant be helped but kind of disrupts the peacefulness.

Great trails for walking! There are lots of benches on the way and they are not hard trails to walk on. Super amazing and beautiful woods! There are restrooms and picnic tables. The old cemetery is cool to see, too. Perfect for family outings or troop events with Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts!

Really beautiful park with beautiful trails and lots of different trees and flowers. I took down one star only because there is a lot of poison ivy especially around the picnic benches. The poison ivy can easily be avoided when sitting at the bench but children or dogs might wander into it.

I love this place for woods walks. At dawn and dusk, owls and deer abound. During the day, it is a shady retreat from hot sun. Be sure to wear waterproof boots if just after a rain, as there are many trails that are muddy and have pooled water across your path. Later in the summer, the creeks dry up and sneakers are fine.

A smaller sized park that makes up I some with well groomed trails and multiple environs. From a restored prairie and pioneer cemetery overlooking a creek, the park is a beautiful place for afternoon or lunch break getaway, near on of the areas busiest areas. Note: the area contains swamp and creesk. Trails can become flooded or extremely muddy. Check the weather and dress accordingly.

Today was a sunny day. There were many people there, young and old, single and groups. Parking was almost full. You can walk inside the park by different paths. Very calm and natural. Best place to relax. It will take about half an hour or entire hour to walk around. Tree leaf colors are changing. Beautiful.

Park has decent trail lengths for the size, wildlife galore as you can see a multitude of birds such as titmouse, downy, Cardinals, Eastern bluejays, several Hawks patrol the area, I have had multiple sightings of dear. Park is packed for nature lovers but it doesnt have any playground equipment so the good news is the animals in the area can keep kids searching and exploring.
