Weve been exploring safe and interesting places nearby during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we found this nature preserve yesterday. Several options here, you can take a mile walk, or three miles, or wander down a shorter, easy path to the river.Enjoy!

If you are using s Google map, the map will bring you to the residential area. The entrance should be from the high school on the corner road. The trail not as impressive as I thought but is nice family park for a baseball or tennis court.

Very rarely anyone else here. Great place for a run! Well taken Care of.

Hidden Gem: AKA Wapahani Nature Trail...You will drive by this and never know its there, and thats why I like it as a less traveled trail. I use this all the time for training runs; included with Riverside trails there is a 5k loop and a 3k loop, good hill spots closer to Eller rd. Rarely do I see other runners/walkers, and you are more likely to see rabbits, deer, or foxes. Only issue I have is that it only gets mowed ~1 time every month from April->Oct so expect taller grass to slow you down a bit.

We love having this natural space near our home. It was one of the key factors in us moving to the area. In a congested area like Fishers, we need more natural space like this. Not everything should be paved and developed...

Nothing to do. 2 trails but nothing to see. Underbrush is really thick. Not a place to bring children.
