The finest spot in my search for photography locations around Fishers Ive found so far has to be this, the Flat Fork Creek Park!Theres a bonus sledding hill for the winter so guess whos coming over again? Me!The park has nicely maintened trails and some elevated towers that can double as picnic spots for the family. Its a fun location for a good evening out. Enough room to be socially distant. The icing on the cake is that the hill is wheelchair friendly. A series of gradient ramp from the parking lot to the top so everyone can indulge in nature. Definitely worth a visit.

We love this park! Trails for walking or biking. Beautiful trees and a nice creek to explore. My kids love the 3 tree house structures nestled in the woods. The big sledding hill is awesome in all seasons! And there are restroom facilities and tables to eat at in the shelter near the parking lot.

This is a really nice park for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, a sledding hill, long bridge perfect for hanging a hammock, and mountain biking. It doesnt have any playgrounds, but it does have 3 treehouses and quite the trail system. We really enjoyed our hiking visit and I look forward to taking my mountain bike the next time.

Very nice hiking trail. There are a lot of nice, flat paved trails, great for a stroller, and then more trails through the woods. It was quite lovely. There are also trails through grass areas. Theres also one large hill near the front of the park. There are restrooms with diaper decks and covered tables at a shelter near the front of the park.

We love this park! With 4 active boys, it’s a perfect place for us to go and let them run a little. We always start by climbing the hill, going down the backside and then around for the tree houses. I have noticed this year it has become the hangout for the teens with their hammocks. One night we didn’t go up in a few of the tree houses because kids were “camping out” there.

This is a great park with a very nicely designed sledding hill and a beautiful wooded area with an elevated trail and ground trails. At least three tree platforms to go and explore. Great place to go run some energy off. If you just want a nice flat trail to jog or walk its there. or if you want to do a bit of trail hiking its there as well or you could jog up and down the sledding hill as it has a switchback cement walkway.

Very good bike trails just make sure you bring serious mountain bike if you want to enjoy all the obstacle courses that theyve built within this part. In terms of gung-ho serious bikers this is more of a novice Trail but in terms of the Casual biker they will think this is a expert Trail so depending on your experience and exposure to the sport be aware. Lots of great walking trails and bridges and relaxing scenery. Good family fun low cost public bathroom available as well as a canopy so you can pack your lunch. Fishing is nearby however not exactly an ideal fishing trip spot location.

We took the kids there on Saturday to spend the day and have a picnic. The large hill provides an awesome view of the countryside and the woods beyond. The walking and bike trails are everywhere around the hill and through the woods. The kids particularly enjoyed the wooded area, with the long and beautiful wooden footbridge, the paths to the treehouses, and of course the river. Had a chance encounter with a snake and skipped rocks in the water before having lunch and playing catch. There were only maybe 20 people in the entire park. Really a beautiful place to spend a Saturday in the beginning of spring. The only downside is that there were several piles of dog poop that rude folks had decided to leave for others to dodge.

A beautiful park for walking or biking. There are many trails to choose from and they range in difficulty. There is a large loop paved footpath thats suitable for walking with strollers, wheelchairs, etc. It crosses a long bridge with beautiful views of the mountain bike and other more difficult trails, then crosses a prairie landscape. Several intersections along this trail allow you to branch off into more challenging terrain if you so desire. It would take many hours to explore every trail on foot, so I cant imagine getting bored walking here if you are able to deviate from the paved loop. Many of the paths are designed for bikes or mountain bikes, but I cant speak to that as I dont ride. The day I was there (average Tuesday late morning in summer) I had most trails to myself as I was walking once I left the paved path. The restroom was clean and well lit, but it was rather stuffy that hot day. I saw two stations with attached bike tools that seemed handy for emergency adjustments to equipment.
