First,this place is wonderful,clean,easy to park and get in,my kids very happy with the sand and swimming,this place very great for the kids.

Water, sand, sun sounds like fun. Just add smiles, toys, and fun people. It may be small, but can pack a couple of hours of fun here without driving an hour+.

Not bad for a neighborhood beach. Not too big, but there was plenty of room to spread out on the warm summer Wednesday we were there. The water was warm, and the beach was clean, with virtually no rocks to step on, both in and out of the water. You can bring food but a small selection of snacks are available for a low price. It might not be a world class beach, but the convenience makes for a much simpler and more relaxing experience.

Great place to hangout with friends and family. Seems like it would be a lot of fun for fishing out there. The beach and the side walks are clean and well maintained. Planning to go in a regular basis after our first visit. Highly recommended if you havent been there.

If perfect was a person it was most definitely a pic of Saturday; ️Sun, swimming , social distancing & friends. Nice intimate beach & the limited amount of people made it enjoyable enough to enjoy the beach space, me & my floaty in the water & my swim time. Wasn’t Florida but it was just what the doctor ordered. And clean spacious porta potty; thank you. I will be back

My son loved going to the beach, however my daughter didnt care for the rocky sand.They only have 2 porta pots for bathrooms. I figured that as nice as the area is around there they would at least have a changing area.Price point is good for non residents. I would go back for something close to home.

Awesome little beach! Free for fishers residents. $5 for everyone else. Water was warm and was not too deep. Check it out its open 11 to 7!

Been here a couple times, and it was overall a good experience. However, the water is a bit dirty, and we found a few dead fish on the shore. Otherwise, a great place to relax.

The beach looks nice, and the docks are really bice but the rest of it is disgusting. It looks like oil streaks on top of the water, there is trash floating in it and the waters edge is covered in litter and trash.

Wonderful place to visit. $5 if not a Fishers resident. Has a snack bar and shelter with picnic tables for a nice picnic. No place to change except an port-o-potty just as a heads up. We had a great time!

Nice little beach away from beach thats convenient to go to without planning in the evening. Proximity to fishers city is another plus.

Come early to make sure you can get in. There may be long lines if you do not. You can rent umbrellas here and the have waters you can buy from concession.

It was fun but it had a dead fish floating and too much sand in the water not good for nerve damaged feet and legs but still a nice place to layout and enjoy a nice day

We drove aaaaalllll the way up to Saxony only to find out they were closed. Website didnt inform us AND it was small as hell. Very upset.

Drove all the way up from the south side and the place was closed due to bacteria in the water. While I certainly appreciate their adherence to health and safety measures, maybe next time you should update the website when youre closed on regular open days. Didnt check Facebook because I dont use it, maybe they posted there.Really this is just a glorified retention pond.

Had a good time at the beach today. The man there tries to make it fun for the kiddos as well.

This another great addition to great and growing city of Fishers,IN. Currently its closed but still you can take a beautiful walk. In summer ,you can enjoy on the sand and get into water.Hamilton country on roll but Fishers in particular is adding amazing amenities. Upcoming Yard will change the outlook of this place.

Free for Fishers residents! The kids love it. Plenty of swimming area and the depth is decent. You have to sign everyone in each time you visit...its alittle cumbersome but worth it.

Underwhelming attempt at a coastal attraction. More of a retention pond with sand in one corner than an actual beach. Cordoned area for 50 +/- swimmers? With posted signs for no swimming, wading, or skating elsewhere. Had a fishing dock within casting distance of the swimming area, unsure of this design.Only one steep docking area for canoeing. Within eye line of a major hospital and expressway. Surrounding walking trail had no benches, only doggie bag stations (3) and was under developed for being an attraction.

Less rocks more fine sand would make the experience a little better but over all my kids had a great time.

This was the first I have heard of Saxony Beach (thanks P!) and I must say I enjoyed myself...My schedule would not allow me to travel far for sand so I ended up in my own backyard...I will be back next year!!!

We go here often its really nice my kids love it. The price went up from 3 to 5 but thats normally consider the price of living.

$5 for non-Fishers residents. The beach is made from fill sand not beach sand. The water was very brown and had quite of oil on the top. Over all it is just okay. They had several lifeguards. The rope line wasnt very far out and the fish like to nibble on you.

I havent been to that many public beaches in my life, but this place seems alright. The beach was fairly clean. Little pieces of garbage laying around, but not much. I found two plastic toys out in the water, down in the sand. The port-a-potties were gross, which is expected, but they definitely needed to be emptied. Beach staff seemed friendly. I would recommend for families looking for a fun day the beach.

If you dont live in Fishers then you have to pay to use the beach. You have to sign a waiver. The sand isnt very sandy. Its more like pea gravel. You might feel fish swimming by while your are in the water. There is no shade. There are port-o-potties. If its hot and youre looking for anywhere to get in the water it can be fun for the kiddos. With no shade, if your not getting in the water you will be baking on the beach. When we visited it was not crowded at all.

Great inexpensive family beach getaway.$5/person (non Fishers residnet) is quite reasonable for access to this staffed and well maintained lakefront park. This is now or alternative to driving to the dunes up North. They kept it fun with activities and drawings.

Memorial Day 2018 was a great day! My boyfriend and I spent a few hours here. Great atmosphere for families and a good time.

While we enjoy going, there is now a $5 charge for non Fishers residents. If there was actual sand and not a gravel and sand mixture it would be leaps and bounds better. But since there is this one and Morse reservoir beach, there are not many options.

Beautiful little beach for Indiana! Life guard on duty! Have to be a Fishers resident and sign in before use. All non residents have to pay a dollar and be accompanied by a Fishers resident.

More if a community pool with sand than a beach, but it is fun for kids to play in the sand and cool off in the water. Lifeguard are on duty so parents can relax... a bit. Small boats can be rented and portable washrooms are on site.

The Boot Camp is hosted by a few people but each class is great!The workout equipment is top of the lineThe customer service sucks when it comes to billing and a third-party accounts manager! Small, safe and clean beach for kids to play

The only thing I dont like is that the fish bite. But since they have no teeth, it is just an annoying sucking sensation. The price is decent for visitors, Fishers residents are free, and they have rental opportunities such as pedal boats, paddle boats, and canoes!

Saxony beach was just okay, but what else can you expect from a man made lake/beach in the middle of Fishers? It is what it is and they do it fairly well.

This is a great alternative to a real beach. Its cheap, and clean. My kids really enjoyed it.

Great place for a swim and relaxing. If you dont prefer the crowds its better to go earlier in the day. But for the price you pay it is totally worth it. You cant beat a $1.

The water has a terrible smell, collected algae on the edges of the pond. The staff is extremely friendly and so are the guests. But the smell is hard to handle

Great little public beach access. You can swim, paddle board, kayak, fish, and ride paddle boats. My family and I are there often. It is free for Fishers residents.

Beach??? Hardly... it looks like an average size retaining pond with a small area of sand on one side. A big disappointment!!

Quaint little beach thats great for kids and adults. There is almost an unspoken rule that adults with kids stay on one side to go nuts while the other side has loubging teenagers, book-reading adults, and solo sunbathers. The Porta potties were super clean and even had hand wipe packages inside to make it a bit better. Be warned, however, that there is no coverage from the sun on the beach, so youll need to being a beach umbrella or tent if you want your kids to be able to have some reprieve from the suns rays. Its $1 per person for non-fishers residents and free for Fishers folks. I fully intend on coming back!

Only a dollar a piece great for big family

You cannot bring any personal watercraft there. If you wish to kayak or use your paddleboard, you must rent from them and they only rent them on Saturdays, so everyone will be bumping into each other. Not worth it. Dont waste your time.

We were attacked by small fish in the water and my 3yr old nephew was taken to the doctor the following morning due to a red swollen ankle that was hot and painful to touch. He was diagnosed with cellulitis (a bacteria infection).
