Had lots of fun which made my trip be worth every minute of it. This was my first time on a Katamaran the captain Eric along with Joshua and Nomi were very welcoming and gave the best service. All in all I felt safe and enjoyed it. ( apologies if I misspelled a name)

Sorry I couldn’t rate this place we had to cancel the night before because of a family emergency so I Can only rate my cancellation and Customer Service experience.unfortunately they kept my full payment for 2 people $189.00 because I didn’t make contact with them the night before although I made several attempts and left a voicemail however I did get in contact with them the next morning before the scheduled trip.The female representative that answered my call representing the company stated they needed my money to survive that’s why they were refusing to refund me my moneyAt the end of our conversation I mentioned to her I guess all I can do is to note it in my reviews she said go right ahead and hung up the phone a real professional...Later many people familiar with this island trip Informed me that it’s better to arrive to the docks where they have boat taxis to take you for much less than $100 a person you just bring your own drinks....I’m thinking how much fuel does a WIND driven Catamaran uses as a justifiable overhead expense.I maybe investing heavily in this area soon looking forward to familiarizing myself with good and bad businesses in the area.

The crew was really great. They speak both Spanish and English. My daughter and I both got sea sick and they really took care of us and helped us out and checked on us. The islands we saw were AMAZING! even during covid! Overall, it was well worth the money. They provided drinks and lunch. Very nice family owned.

Our day on the Salty Dog catamaran was phenomenal! We boarded and due to Covid only had about 20 people on board plus the crew so that was really nice.Our group of 2 (adult and child) both felt very important and the crew was very welcoming.Another guest taught the girl how to feed fish and they swarmed her- she was awe-inspired!!Icacos is a beautiful beach but the reef was very impressive. Lots of fish, colorful coral and even a large sting ray.We highly recommend taking a sail with the Salty Dog!!

My family and I enjoyed the boat ride on the Salty Dog! The staff were very friendly and always on standby to help if you needed assistance getting off the boat into the water to reach the island. I laid out in the water on the float that the staff provided, it could accommodate 6 people at one time! From North Carolina to Puerto Rico we thank you all very much!

Absolutely amazing! The crew, the boat, the other guests, everything. The crew really knows how to have fun and is there to make sure you do every step of the way. The beach and fish were beautiful as was the sail on the way there and back. Such a great experience, well worth the money, will definetly return!!

Just perfect. Went on the day sail for the secsond time with 3 children ages 5, 7, 10, and had an amazing time. The crew are very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was great from beginning to end. No complaints. Took my phone in the ocean in a waterproof case and got some amazing pics. Highly recommend.

Rude staff, look for another place this place is not worth it. My group booked a tour through Expedia and we showed up to an empty establishment because the owner decided to cancel last minute.They do not try to help you and when I asked for help the lady gave me attitude. Save your time and money and go somewhere where they treat you like a paying customer.

Today is my friend’s birthday and we decided to book a group tour, after driving 2 hours we were informed That our reservation was never booked. I wanted to show her my confirmation email but the lady was not even at the location. What a waste of time! Thank you Salty catamaran for ruining my friends birthday.

I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone in or coming to Puerto Rico. A great way to spend half the day. I loved the different portions the trip had such as stopping by the beach and scuba diving. The crew of the ship was also one of the best parts. Carlos, Robert, and Johnathan of the Salty Dog were friendly and helpful. In fact theyre part of the reason my group is going a second time tomorrow!

This is the first time I get on with salty dog. Wow the experience is amazing. The bot is super clean , sanitizers everywhere. They give you lunch. The staff is fun and very helpful. I didn’t want to leave Icacos Island. I will definitely go every time I go to PR.

We had an amazing time. Staff and Captain of ship were amazing. The catamaran is a nice size and not too many people at once. We had great drinks and had a great lunch! We went to an island to swim and to a reef to snorkel! Best experience ever!

If I could give no stars I would. I have used this company for over 10 years. I called stating i was running 5 mins late and even offered to compensate for the time. I was rudely advised that they couldnt wait nor accommodate me on another day ($300 down the drain). I booked another catamaran yesterday arrive at 8:16 just to see the salty dog leaving at 8:18 am but they couldnt wait 4 mins for me on Saturday. They lost a great customer and Traveler Catamaran gained a new one!!!!!

Do not book this place. I made 6 reservations and when we showed up to the place and called a rude lady picked up the phone and told us our reservation was never booked. We even gave her our confirmation number and she said that it was not on her system and that there’s nothing she can do about it. The lady did not try to accommodate or and was very unprofessional. This is just unavailable!

Salty Dog Catamaran is the BEST crew ever! Eric, Tito, and every crew was very friendly, funny, down-to-earth, experienced, upbeat, and very accommodating GOOD LOOKING HOT MEN in Puerto Rico. I missed them and the island already. Also, the catamaran is NOT crowded which is GREAT! For anybody who book with them, make sure you give them a GOOD Tip! They deserves it.

I dont know where to start, first of all I was on time for my reservation and The address provided was incorrect, after calling to get the right address I was told that I was incorrect and that I never booked the reservation. I gave the lady my reservation number and she claimed I was lying because she never got it. Im very disappointed.

Had a fantastic experience on The Salty Dog Catamaran Day Sail and snorkeling tour. Booked our sail the night before and everything went smoothly from reservation to check in. Easy to find, the marina seemed safe and we had no worries with leaving our car there for the day. The crew was fantastic...professional, yet fun, knowledgeable sailors, very attentive and accommodating. The food and drinks were plentiful, the island stop beautiful and the snorkeling a lot of fun.

We booked a group of 14 family Members. Due to Covid restriction the boat was at half capacity which más amazing because there was a lot of room to move around. The crew was super nice. We arrived at Icacos around 9am and we were the only ones there! We had the whole beach to ourselves for about an hour before other boats started arriving. It was an amazing experience, the kids loved it, the crew took care of everything. Highly recommended. Great value and memories for a lifetime!

I had so much fun!!! I went with my dad and other family and we all had a great time. The crew was amazing and the food was good. The island we visited was beautiful and I saw a lot of fish while snorkeling. The Salty Dog was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Puerto Rico.

This establishment needs to work on their customer service because it’s very poor. Lack of professionalism. My reservation was cancelled without any warning. I will never book any reservation here again.

Just came back from this trip. It was Fabulous! Weve taken other catamaran trips on other islands and this one is the BEST! Roberto, Tito and Omar are great hosts and take you on a tour of two locations one with a beach and the other with a reef for snorkeling Theyre so personable and service oriented. Theres three types of adult mixed drinks with kiddie drinks too. Lunch is sandwiches, pasta salad and fruit. A return snack consisted of cheese and crackers and salsa and chips.As we returned, the crew entertained us with great salsa and reggae music . There are other tours out there that are advertised similarly but these guys make your day sail a truly memorable Puerto Rican experience! BOOK this!

Already went there twice (once with work colleagues and once with my parents who were visiting and 100% will go there again with other guests). The places they take you are breathtaking, the staff is kind and helpful, the cocktails and food are good and even the music is cool :)One of the best thing to do in PR for me, watch the sunburn though^^

Great time. Our group age range was 65 to 14 and we all had a blast. Salty dog was smaller than many of the boats out there, which was nice - plenty of room, not over crowded. Crew was great. They worked really hard but did not look like they were working really hard. They made it a great day.

I’ve done the Salty Dog Catamaran several times and it has always been great! The crew is super nice, informative (if you ask about the island they’re more than happy to share info), and best of all, they make the trip fun!! Great trip for snorkeling and getting to spend time in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean. Lunch is pretty good, too. Highly recommend it!

I LOVE THE SALTY DOG. Been on this trip multiple times before and it’s consistently a main highlight of our Puerto Rico trips. I could go on for hours about everything from; the island we sail to and from, white sand beach, the snorkeling and jumping off the boat, the drinks, the music, the crews awesome, Captain even let some of the kids steer the catamaran on the way back... It’s a hands down must do!!! Depending on the day it’ll be a perfect relaxing cruise or a fun-filled family party ..... Plus the east side of the island has some of the best beaches and seafood in the world.

Taking a trip with Salty Dog Catamaran was one of the best experiences during our stay in Puerto Rico. This is something that you would want to do again for sure. Entire crew was amazing and very helpful, especially the captain. Great food and drinks are served throughout the trip. Snorkeling and watching underwater coral reef is something you will never forget. Highly highly recommended trip to take when visiting Puerto Rico. Salty Dog Catamaran is the reason why you should book your stay in Fajardo.

Totally worth the price. The island we stopped at was beautiful and the lunch provided was good. The snorkeling location wasnt as exciting as I had hoped but still a lot of fun. The crew was amazing, fantastic service and the drinks provided were amazing. I would definitely recommend this and plan on doing this trip again when I come back to Puerto Rico

During the spring break of our grandchildren (triplet high school seniors) we took them to PR to allow them the opportunity to use their language skills. We tried different adventures daily but the high light of our trip was the Salty Dog snorkeling trip. Easy accessibility, adequate and tasty food and drink available. Snorkeling lessons on an island beach after a trip from the port. Following the lessons the vessel moved to a permanent mooring at a reef. I gave it a try (80yrs young) and did enjoy it until I tired out. Our grandchildren (with their underwater camera) were the first into the water at the reef. They were also the last out of the water. It was the highlight of our week in PR.

I went there July 2016 and we had a blast! From the moment you jump in aboard you know you will have a blast! The only bad thing is time flies and before you know it you are enjoying the sunset! But sunbathed, salty and happy! Would go again!

We had a great time. The crew were friendly and helpful and made a great lunch. We had a nice swim and snorkle. Next time I will select the longer trip so I can get a longer sail.

Highly recommend! My girlfriend and I got the commuter bus at 7:45 am and the bus driver was a great tour guide telling us about the different towns and rainforest. And then we arrive to the boat. It was massive and beautiful. The crew greeted us and they were very attentive to asking us if we wanted drinks or food or anything! They took us to the isla icaco and the water was very clear and refreshing. Although it rained for 10 minutes it was beautiful and still very fun! The snorkeling was a blast and the fish were very vibrant in their colors! If you have a day to do this don’t hesitate!
