I highly recommend this place for snorkeling trips while in Puerto Rico. I have used them twice and I have enjoyed both to the fullest. There is free parking, lines dont get too long and they work you in quickly. Dont be late though. Open bar, fresh fruit, and sandwiches are included with your ticket. The staff is amazing and they make sure you are having a great time safely. I highly recommend a waterproof case so you can take awesome pics and videos while you snorkel.

My Wife and I loved it, we recommend this. The rum was good, the food was good, but you cant be picky about those things on the ride. Hard to judge further because Im easy to please, as long as my wife was happy, its good because shes really the picky one. The crew was very friendly and professional.

If you are looking for a fun day at sea, this is the place to go. The staff is outstanding, the food and drinks are included in the package, the snorkeling is amazing, theyll make sure to pick the good spots for snorkeling. By far the best bang for your money. Fun for the whole family.

I have some complaints regarding my reservation on October 3, 2020 which made my trip unpleasant. First I was called to be at the meeting  point earlier at 8:15 AM to leave at 8:30 AM, to later find out we were leaving at the original time,9am. We were told we would be leaving and we ended up waiting for another group that was leaving at a later time. They joined the two groups on the same catamaran for their convenience. While we were on the way is when I realized that we werent visiting the island that we paid for. One of the East Island Excursions employees told me Culebra island is closed as we were passing the island. I was never told during booking that Culebra island was closed even though in the reservations email we requested Culebra island. Culebra island was confirmed and not Culebrita island by an employee. I thought that it should have been clear that island was closed and I would of decided if we wanted to continue with the reservation. Then I reached out to express my concerns regarding the island being closed and they stated that they made the changes due to choppy waters. In my opinion, the waters were not choppy however you can be the judge of whether or not the waters were choppy by viewing the attached photo. Therefore, as a warning before getting on the catamaran with East Island Excursions/Castillo Tours, make sure you are going to the island you paid for. I demanded some type of refund but was denied.

You cannot go to Puerto Rico without taking this excursion. The snorting was excellent, the food was delicious, and the beaches are some the top in the world. Their pricing is very good compared to others and well worth the trip.

These guys are awesome! Easily one of the best experiences Ive ever had (even though I got a little sea sick). The staff here were very friendly and personable, making sure everyone had a great experience. We took a day trip to a top 5 rated beach in the world (Flamenco Beach) had lunch and an open bar. Couldnt ask for much more. Puerto Rico is ready for tourism again after Hurricane Maria, so make sure you visit and book a tour with these guys. You wont regret it.

A group of 10 of us paid $85 for the barbeque cruise & $20 dor pick up from our airbnb. The cruise had no barbecue buffet as listed. Instead they provided turkey/lettuce/tomatoe roll w/ a lil dry pasta in a styrofoam container. We also were supposed to have unlimited drinks but instead they served us lil rum punch drinks in foil bags similar to capri suns. The drinks were good, but, i saw the same drinks in Walmart the day before the costs were 20 pouches for $5. Also when we arrived at our stop on the beach, we had to literally swim to shore!! They did have an excellent team of men who helped each of us back & forth to the ship across the water from the ship to the boat. We were also provided life jackets. The staff were overall nice, but there was one staff member, a shorter man at the bar, who was sort of rude the whole time. Other than that our boat ride was fun & they let us play our own music. I just think that they shouldve changed the price due to the food & drinks not being as listed.

Decieded to do go snorkeling and found these on a visitor pamphlet. Didnt expect all regard much but was presently surprised. The boat was clean, the staff very helpful and the snorkeling really good. The trip consisted of a 45 min catamaran ride out to Culebra island where we snorkled fure about an hr. Had lunch, just sandwiches and headed to Flamingo beach, Its fantastic. Spend a couple of hrs there and then back. Its an all day trip bit with it. If you are not a great swimmer dont worry its pretty shelow and plenty of floats.

A truly unforgettable boating and snorkeling adventure off the east coast of Puerto Rico. We took our family including three children under 10 on this wonderful catamaran trip to the island of Icacos.The weather was gorgeous, the seas were relatively calm, the reefs and snorkeling were tremendous, the food and drinks were simple but perfect, and the staff was friendly and professional.I can not recommend this strongly enough. If you’re in Puerto Rico, book a trip with East Island excursions.

Wonderful crew. Clean boat. Nice lunch and drink options. My personal preference would have been to spend less time at the snorkel stop and more time at the beautiful Flemenco Beach. Very rough ride on the ocean, bring Dramamine.

Snorkeling Trip to Culebra: Best tourist experience of my life. The staff on board are attentive, knowledgeable and well prepared. The complementary lunch was better than expected. The snorkeling and ocean views were phenomenal.

“Great way to spend a day!!!”We have gone out snorkeling with East Island Excursions in the past and the experience of the crew and how friendly they are was one of the main reasons to book another trip. The trip to Culebra was well worth the hour plus ride there and to go snorkeling on the reef in 25-30 feet of blue water was worth it. Then go over to Flamenco beach and do some more snorkeling was also great. The crew also makes the trip good since they are always asking if you need another drink or answer any questions that you may have... and they even sing and dance (but some should not quit their day jobs!!) I would give a list of the guys from the crew but I dontremember their names, what would be good on the website is a photo and names of all of the crew members.

These guys made a lot of effort and made our trip memorable. Captain Ken also picked us up from parking lot. I got free snorkling lessons. Pinacoladas yum yum.. highly recommend

Took the 6-hour tour that includes 3-hour visit to a deserted island where you can swim while the crew prepared lunch sandwich/salad buffet (all while serving bottomless drinks), then on to a coral reef where you can snorkel for two hours. The coral reef was like swimming in an aquarium...all types of tropical .The boat was clean and comfortable, and the crew was very friendly while being professional and safety conscious. We really enjoyed it and hope to do it again sometime.

This was my favorite part of Puerto Rico. The staff was amazing (thanks Levi and Axel!) they were funny, accommodating, and nice. The food was good. The rum was endless and the snorkeling was amazing. At first, the cAtamaran seemed overcrowded- but they create such a great atmosphere that you end up friends with everyone on the tour!

This was hands down the best part of our week in PR! We booked the slightly more expensive BBQ Luxury Snorkeling Tour on the Zatara catamaran, and are so glad we chose that over the cheaper larger tour on the East Wind catamaran. Even though both boats go to the same spots and basically follow each other, there were way less people on our boat, the other one looked a little crowded. There was also a larger area to sit under cover for shade from the sun and the quick rain shower we passed through. The BBQ lunch wasnt bad, slightly better than just sandwiches. The crew members were awesome (Alex, Jeff, and Angel I believe), very attentive with serving up great rum drinks and beers! Icacos island was beautiful with clear water and soft sand, though you have to wade through about 4ft of water to get off the boat, so we didnt bother bringing towels or phones with us. The snorkel spot was also very nice, the water was calm enough and plenty of colorful fish to look at. One side note, the waves in the water were a little wild as we left the marina - expect to get very wet if you sit on the front of the boat (which isnt a big deal, we just wished we had left our towels and clothes somewhere dry). Would recommend sitting on the benches within the boat if you tend to get seasick or have kids that might get scared. Overall, would definitely recommend the Zatara tour!!

First time in Puerto Rico and I loved it! If you come to PR you have to go to east island excursions for the best experience! Christian, Gabriel, el Neff and the rest of the crew members were awesome! Primera vez en Puerto Rico y me encantó!

The crew was amazing and the beach we were taken to Culebrita was beautiful. All good times.

During a group trip to Puerto Rico, we decided to do the snorkeling trip to Icacos on the catamaran that was designated for adults only. The day was beautiful as we set sail for the open ocean, the day started off with great music and drinks to get the party started. When then stopped at the first location for the day, Icacos Island. We were able to jump off the catamaran and swim to the island to enjoy the beach before we enjoyed lunch. We were served a very filling lunch with drinks as we kept the party going with music. Once the time was complete at this location, we then set sail for the next location where we would finish off with snorkeling off the coast of a private island. The ocean was beautiful as we were able to see different ocean life off the coast of the island and enjoyed the rest of the time on the catamaran before we set sail back to Puerto Rico. This is an all day tour as we got back to the port of Fajardo around 3 pm, this was definitely an experience to remember and my friends who have never been to Puerto Rico were very surprised how beautiful the beaches and this part of Puerto Rico is.

Amazing crew, beautiful boat and unbelievable water. If youre in Condado or San Juan, call them and let them show you their incredible island. A++

So much fun! I cant remember the exact price but I think it was around 130 per person which included transportation to the port, the catamaran ride, food and open bar, and snorkel gear. the crew is so much fun! the snorkeling was amazing and the beach they took us to afterwards was gorgeous.

Great trip with a knowledgeable crew who go out of their way to make your experience fantastic. The sail/snorkel trip to Icacos was really fun, nice lunch and plenty of drinks throughout the day. Crew was very safety conscious and made it fun for kids as well.

We had a great time (WEAR SUNSCREEN I SUNBURNED BAD) it leaves at 9:00am and returns at 3:00pm if you are going with a group and everyone bought their own ticket make sure everyone is on the same boat, we had 12 in our group and were on 2 different boats (we found this out checking in at the dock). It’s open bar with a variety of rum fruit juice mixes, no alcohol served until you get to the first stop. For lunch there is make your own sandwiches with pre-cut French bread, cut fresh fruit cole slaw, & pasta salad. There’s a bathroom on board, while on the boat it’s barefoot.It’s an awesome day trip. Sunscreen SUNSCREEN sunscreen!!!!!

This was the best boat trip I have ever taken. I went for the option that costs $114 and it was worth every penny and then some. The service was amazing the staff is extremely attentive. The drinks and the lunch was awesome (all inclusive and unlimited) and the experience was nothing less than exceptional. I would 100% recommend the boat experience on the catamaran for 114. You will not be disappointed.

We went used Caribe Bliss and Alex and the crew were great! They provided us with all the information we needed and they are eco centered!They made sure we had a great time but were safe while doing so and also being responsible for the footprints we leave.They provided plenty of food, drinks, and rum! The music and interactions with the crew made it a great time.They provided us with all the snorkeling gear we needed along with instructions. They werent overbearing and for a first time snorkeler I felt my safety was their utmost concern! Thanks for a great day and memories that wont soon be forgotten!The cost was small for what they provided. We left at 9:30 am and got back around 4 pm. We went to Culebra for snorkeling and then to Flamenco Island beach and back on a powerboat. The bathroom and boat was clean and well kept and all 41 ppl on board had a great time!

Best excusion ever! The captains were attentive and interacted with the guests. They even stopped the boat for me to see a sea turtle! Puerto Rico is so beautiful but this was definitely the highlight of our trip! Seriously...this is the only snorkeling tour you should ever book!!

Amazing trip; I had a blast with my family. Staff was amazing and kind. Our driver Eduardo, was absolutely the best. I felt really sick on our trip back to the hotel and he was kind enough to stop somewhere for me to get some water and use the restroom. I highly recommended it.

They offer many excursions. We took a catamaran to a beautiful coral reef off Culebra Island and then spent some time at Flamenco Beach. It included a buffet lunch, but it was just make your sandwiches with some salads. But it was still good, but maybe thats the sun talking. We had an amazing crew though! Highly highly recommend!

Worst experience ever. Not what we paid for. And it wasn’t cheap.They changed the destination without letting us know. We didn’t had the chance to do snorkeling. The food? The food besides some bread with some salami and mayo you will have the change to eat some extra boiled and cold pasta, damaged fruits, and some beans salad! I’ll do my best to get my money back. Definitely this is really badly organized and as always they only think about filling their pockets with money. A total fraud!!! If is raining just cancel it. That’s our advice for you! Save your money!

Boat was over booked and very crowded. Staff was not engaging with passengers. We have done other boat tours in the islands and found them to be much more enjoyable. We were not taken to the destination we booked to. We were ok with that due to the water conditions, but that in addition to the boat being so congested made it not a good experience. So disappointing for a family of 6. 600$ plus down the drain. Would not recommend; go with another company!!

Amazing experience, my wife and I did the BBQ Snorkel tour to Icacos. It was amazing!!! The crew was super friendly, very attentive, and they answered any questions you may have. Icacos island was amazing, the clearest water Ive ever been to. Its a deserted island so its perfect if you just want to enjoy the beauty without any disturbances. I would definitely book with East Island again. My wife and I went snorkeling for the fist time and the crew was very helpful

We loved it! The Crew was phenomenal, they worked all aspects of the tour. Guides, life guards, bartenders, cooks and wait staff.Chris the spokesman for the tour was great! He was funny and very informative.Lunch- sandwiches were a build your own of cold cuts, lettuce and tomatoes and a few other condiments. 3 different salads were also offered. Pasta, tuna, bean.Open bar- once you sailed away it was OPEN bar enough said!Snacks- fresh cut fruit and cookies along with OPEN bar.The reef- jump in and enjoy the reef and it was beautiful !Money well spent! Bring some extra cash to tip these amazing crew members!

Everything about the day was perfect. The weather was great, the crew was amazing and the passengers were pleasant, all around good vibes. The views and the water were spectacular. You could, swim, snorkel, chill on the beach or even hang out on the boat if you wanted to. The rum punch and the lunch was tasty as well. But I have to give a special shoutout to the crew member with the green eyes I believe his name is Conrad. When the boat docked in water deeper than I expected (I nor my children are strong swimmers) we thought we’d be stuck on the boat but Conrad actually swam my kids to and from boat to the beach to back to the back to ensure they had a great time. That kind of service is what will set a good business apart from a great business. I thanked him in person but I want the world to know what kind of service I received. Thanks again Conrad for going above and beyond.

Couldve been way better. They ran out of food early on. Not the friendliest staff. They take you to gorgeous places for a very reasonable price. They couldve done a lot better with customer service.

Cannot say enough positive things about the tour. We went on the deserted island tour to Icacos. At first, it looked like there were too many people on the boat, but it wasnt crowded at all. All of us got our own space, and once we got on the beach, it did not feel like there were too many people either. There will be other tour operators at the Icacos Island, but most boats maintain their distance, so theres nothing to worry about. I did not know how to swim, and Christian took the time to teach me how to swim using floaties when we were at the Icacos beach where you can see some coral reefs. When we went to the snorkeling spot, I was confident enough to put those swimming lessons to use and actually swim all the way to the coral reef in the open seas (the reef is at a 15-30ft depth, so be prepared). Lunch was served for the entire duration we were on the island, and drinks were served till we got back to Fajardo. Would definitely recommend East Island Excursions, and cannot thank Christian enough for making this trip amazing!

Myself and my family called to Inquire and we were told we will be giving a private tour, meaning it will be only me, my wife and my four girls on the trip. However on the day of the trip we were called at approximately 8:45 saying that the boat is ready to leave, when inquiring about the information given to us about the private trip we were told that we misunderstood which is not true then to our surprise when we came back to the states our credit card was charged almost $650 and they refused to give a refund and they offered a different date within a couple days with an additional charge although we already had left Puerto RicoI would stay away from them , this is not an honest business that can keep their customers happy and we are coming back to Puerto Rico in 2019 and we will definitely not come close to East island excursion and hope that others don’t !

This trip was so much fun. Amazing customer service. Shoutout to our driver (Eduardo). He was so polite and gentle to us and my sick niece, she wasnt feeling too well after the trip. We will come back sooner than expected.

This was, by far, the most fun thing we did on our trip to Puerto Rico. The crew was very professional, safety was #1 at ALL times. The crew was also friendly and accommodating. Lunch onboard was great after snorkeling over the reef for about an hour. Due to the water conditions, we went to Culebrita, which was not as populated and made for a much better experience. And Chris was a blast, especially the 80s rock serenade he gave us on the return to Fajardo. I highly recommend booking this tour. You will not be disappointed.

This was a fantastic day out. It was a full boat, but it never felt crowded or unpleasant. The crew was outstanding, a genuine pleasure to be around. They were very helpful with our young son and he had the time of his life. The beaches were gorgeous, the snorkeling was a ton of fun and the boat ride was great. We were on the sailboat and ended up in a bit of a race with another boat on the way back. Fun all day long. Make sure you bring your sunscreen!

So much fun! Well worth it! We did the snorkeling excursion to Isla Icacos. The staff was super friendly and there was a nice variety of things to eat and plenty to drink. It was fun watching the crew work the sails, pretty much all manually. We first stopped at Icacos and spent a few hours there walking the beach and snorkeling all around. The water was clear and warm. Then we went out to a shallow coral reef and snorkeled some more. All the gear is provided. It was a great experience. I would definitely recommend it.

I booked through expedia ! Didnt know what to expect but I had a great time. They will pick you up from your hotel. All the drivers were nice. The boat staff were excellent! They noticed I was alone and made sure I was ok and got the full experience! Drink, food, and snorkeling come with!. Christian was great ! Book this if you go to PR.

Went to Culebra Island on a snorkeling trip, saw a jellyfish and a barricuda. The staff was great and helpful, made sure we all were safe. They served a lunch buffet, which was a tuna and pasta salad, along with fruit and snacks. They prepared drinks for everyone throughout the trip.

The employees on the boat are great but the company will cancel your trip if a private party wants to rent the boat that day so dont bank on your trip actually happening as planned.

Excellent experience on a catamaran. We rented the catamaran for six hour and purchased their top shelf meal plan which included soft drinks, liquor, fruit platter, cheese platter, and a barbecue during the excursion. We were a party of five spanning three generations and every one enjoyed themselves. During the excursion we stopped several times in different islands to swim and snorkel and the captain was very knowledgeable and friendly and allowed us to us his bluetooth speakers to play music. I would highly recommend East Island Excursion for a catamaran excursion while in Puerto Rico.

My wife and I ended up booking this snorkeling trip last minute during our stay in Old San Juan (Feb 2018). They picked us up in one of the squares in Old San Juan. We had booked the basic lunch option and they were great to upgrade us to a better lunch tour at no additional cost. Great Customer Service! Riding on the catamaran was fun over to the snorkeling spot. We had a great time snorkeling and seeing the fish!

We did the snorkeling trip to Culebra with Chris and his crew who were all fabulous! Seriously the best excursion of our entire week in Puerto Rico. Rum drinks, hearty sandwiches and some incredibly snorkeling and beaching. Highly recommend this!!!

Well organized check-in process. Helpful and friendly crew on board, constantly offering customers drinks (alcoholic and non). Lunch buffet was good and offered good options for everyone. We were not able to go to Culebra because of weather/water conditions so we went to Iconos and Palomino instead. The snorkeling conditions were not great so we didn’t really see much, but the company issued us a partial refund for the alternate itinerary, which I thought was good. Overall, a good company and a good experience while in PR.

East islans excursion is easily one of the better catamaran excursions offered. I have gone with many other companys, but theyre just so good.

Best Day Ever! But People, Let the Driver do his job!!! If you stay at a hotel and need a ride to and from the excursion, then stay with the group and be ready on time to go when they tell you to so youre not holding the rest of the group up. Poor guy, I felt so bad for him because a few people were holding everyone up, and even a couple of them took off without notifying him they were going to leave and not go back on the bus.Besides all of that, the driver, the excursion crew, the trip, the experience, The Best time of my life! Beautiful! Beautiful Day! Nice People!! I would do it again in a heartbeat!! Definitely would recommend this company to anyone traveling!

Loved this tour! The beaches are so beautiful and the staff is so kind. We paid for the shuttle service from San Juan and the driver was so kind; he stopped on the way back because my friend was feeling sick.

Excellent customer service. The entire crew had personality and made sure everybody on board was taken care of. For those who like to drink, its like having bottomless cocktails once you hit the first stop. Be careful though. Youll be riding on the boat for about 45 minutes each way and being seasick is no fun. Pop a dramamine ahead of time to be on the safe side.

This was by far one of the best water excursions I been on and I have done these all over the Caribbean and Hawaii. The staff was great the drinks delicious and delivered by the staff if you so desired. Lunch also tasty and plentiful nice variety. Heres the cherry on top the ride back they rocked out to 80s rock only the best decade ever.

We went snorkeling here and it was a blast. Lunch was your typical build your own sandwiches but there were various pasta salads, veggies, and fresh fruits to go with it. Freshly made and delicious. Drinks were great and definitely worth it. The first stop you were able to practice snorkeling for first timers before getting to the real water on the second stop. You don’t need experience at all and the staff was super friendly and safe. Would definitely go back!

Worth every penny!! This is our second tour with east island excursions and we enjoyed ourselves again! Staff is friendly and always checks in. A beautiful time with good company!

The Crew was amazing. We couldnt make it to Culebra due to weather conditions but the alternative trip to Icacos was well worth it.

This....is TOPS!!!...the staff, the boat, the view, the food, the cocktails.....its a MUST DO!....and this is something your not going to get anywhere else... FANTATSTIC!!!
