This place has been around for so long! It was a place where some of my favorite childhood memories took place. There used to be a giant wagon slide that was taken down but the park is beautiful nonetheless. I recommend lots of bug spray. My husband and I got eaten alive by mosquitoes while taking a leisurely walk. The restrooms are closed so make sure take care of business before getting to the park. We ran into that issue and realized late. The park is beautiful, taken care of, and so covered with greenery its breathtaking. It would be the perfect place to propose to your significant other!

Queen Califia is closed during this time due to Covid19 but were able to walk around and up to the View Point house (faster if you walk up from the pond). It has some good dirt trails for biking too. Good shade for most of the park. You dont have to park your car at the rec center in front, you can drive inside.

For the disc golf store, and the disc golf. Best disc golf store in north county Im aware of, maybe in all of San Diego. Only thing to be aware of is poison oak on holes 3 (in the far position), 4 to the right of the tee and 5 to the right of tee. Keep it in the fairway and youll have nothing to worry about.
